Summary
14 year old Gerard Way was sexually abused by his father up until the age of 9, leaving him selectively mute and with Dissociative Identity Disorder. He has 5 personalities, alters. He doesn't feel crazy but he'd put money on the fact if anyone knew other than his Mum and therapist, they would lock him up. This is until he starts opening up to 15 year old Frank.

Characters
Frank Iero
15, the new kid at Gerard's school. Short and funny, openly gay. Has suffered with depression in the past but came to the school for a fresh start. Very musical, plays guitar and very open minded about political issues.
G (alter)
The eldest of the alters, in his 30s. Very rarely out, only in comfortable, enjoyable situations. Can speak completely freely both on the inside and when he is out. Often talks to Gerard, gives good advice. Very artistic, a source for some of Gerard's creativity. Has similar traits to party but much more responsible. Aware of whats going on when Gerard or Party are out, which is most of the time. Gerard and the other alters are aware of whats going on when he is out and they communicate well.
Gerard Way
14. Has been sexually abused by his father up until the age of 9, causing him to develop multiple personalities, 'alters'. It was a coping mechanism, he subconsciously detached aspects of himself to preserve them and escape but they developed into entirely different personalities. He switches between them, becoming other identities and they talk to him and he talks to them. He is the host personality, the 'real' him. Sometimes when one of his alters comes out he can remember what happened, other times he forgets. He is selectively mute, quite anxious but incredibly gentle and kind hearted. He is very creative, both arty and musical. He is out for about 40% of the time. His alters are listed below.
nameless (alter)
Is out around 10% of the time. Protects Gerard from hurt, dealing with it for him with alcohol, self harm and can become suicidal. Is completely mute. He doesn't communicate with Gerard or any other alters. Neither Gerard or any other alters remember anything from times when he is out.
Party poison (alter)
They were Gerards first alter, around for as long as he can remember. They started out as an imaginary friend, someone he would turn to for support and without realising become. They're sassy and fun to be with if slightly reckless. They're non binary, identifying as androgyne. When they aren't out they talk to Gerard almost all the time and are out about 40% of the time, as often as Gerard himself. They're always aware of whats going on when Gerard's out and Gerard is always aware of whats going on when Party is out. They are very talkative but doesn't talk at school out of choice, if they're out, to hide the multiple personalities.
Saviour (alter)
Incredibly rarely out but often talks to and guides Gerard. Anytime he is out, he is completely mute and wont even write down what he wants to say. He is for Gerard and Gerard only. He is very mysterious but looks after Gerard, calming him and even saved his life. He is aware of whats going on when Gerard and the other alters are out and they are aware of what's going on when he is out but Gerard's memory is often foggy.
