We Can Make It Up Again (S-I-N Sequel)
Summary
Based four years after the events of S-I-N

When we last left off Lainey had returned to America with her older brother Dale and Gerard was heartbroken but had just been offered the deal of a lifetime.
Lainey's now grown up into a twenty-one year old who works at both a lingerie store and as an assistant manager in Hot Topic in San Diego and lives in a flat with her three year old. Her best friends are the same trio of girls she used to know as a teenager, one of her bosses is a bitch and there may or may not be some chemistry between her and the the guy working in the vinyl store at the local mall.
Gerard's band My Chemical Romance has taken off, gotten a record deal, signed to a label and really pumped out the albums, three in the space of four years he's traveled most of the world but hasn't spoken with or seen Lainey once. After dating a new girl for nearly a year he might be ready to open up to someone, fall in love again, get serious and maybe even think about things like getting married or starting a family.
It seems like the two have moved on, now with things other than old flames on the mind but is it possible that a chance encounter will ignite their burnt out hearts?
Characters
April Nelson
Hailing from Idaho but wishing to come from someone else April went out to Florida with dreams of being an artist, there she met Dale and they eventually moved to Anaheim before getting engaged. She's now working as a tattoo artist that has been featured in a fare amount of ink magazines.
Chelsea Isaac (aka Chelsea Wicked)
The controversial lead singer and guitarist of the band The Crash Project. Chelsea's had a go at every drug imaginable, from acid to ecstasy to Xanax and everything in between. She might be a wildchild in the media, getting into fights with other bands on a regular basis and coming out on stage less than half naked but despite all of this (and his friends warnings) Gerard has stuck by her for some very destructive reasons.
Dale Colfort
Lainey's older brother, plays bass in post-hardcore band All The Cool Kids and is newly engaged to April Nelson. He moved to Anaheim at the same time as his little sister because of his bands new record contract. He's recently been away on tour with rock band Not Reckless But Fearless and regularly calls Lainey to see if she's okay.
Gerard Way
After being left by Lainey back in England he accepted Vic's offer to play with the band for the rest of their Europe tour. My Chemical Romance was easily picked up by a record label and has since put out three records in only four years, all of them winning awards. He hasn't talked to Lainey in a long while but still hasn't forgotten about her.
Iris McCoy
Although she was once a shy person when attending Rosehill and had a habit of hiding herself away Iris has grown out of her shell and is now an outgoing twenty-two year old. With a dream of becoming a psychologist she began attending King's College in London before taking part in a violent encounter and fleeing to California.
Kacey Everette
Despite being one of the many kids raised in the system Kacey grew up to be a nice guy and at the age of eighteen figured out he wanted to be a DJ. He shares a flat with his stoner friend Zack and works part-time at Scythe Sounds to pay for (in Lainey's words) his 'overpriced techno doohickeys'. Kacey's known Lainey since she started working on the other side of the street and they've been friends ever since they met, despite him harboring more than a few feelings.
Lainey Colfort
Lainey's been doing well for herself since returning to America, she's gotten steady employment, been promoted and lives in a flat with her three year old. She might have wizened up a little in the past four years and matured slightly but she's still capable of having some fun. With the right kind of person of course.
Nathaniel Feight
He might have a bad name for himself but Nathaniel is considered a sweetheart by those who know him best. Twenty five and the lead singer of All The Cool Kids, Nathaniel is far from ready to settle down but that doesn't mean he's not open minded when it comes to the prospective of a new relationship.
Poppy Hyde
Twenty-one and the proud drummer of a hardcore girl band. Poppy's a native of England but she just can't get enough of America and spends as much of her time in the country as she can to the extent of becoming a citizen and buying a house in San Diego.
Summer Colfort
A walking, talking machine, Summer or as her mother calls her Sunny, is a smart child that has a habit of speaking to strangers as if they were friends. Because of the influence of Dale, April and Lainey she's already shown a passion for music and will play with Dale's bass if it's within reach.
