Summary

Having left his family seven years ago as a disappointment, Gerard has become one of the most well known and liked lawyers of his time. He has a beautiful wife and daughter, and a very happy life, but because of the war, that's all ripped away from him with just a simple letter.

Mikey, on the other hand, is living with his best friend, Frank, and taking any job he could get, ranging from farm help to a shoe maker's apprentice, and almost everything in between. It wasn't the most posh life, but it was perfect to him, and the only thing missing from the picture was his brother.
