It was lunchtime by the time I got to school. I was a wreck I had to stop twice to throw up.

I seriously couldn’t be bothered for school but it’s the only place I knew where to go, Jesus Heidi’s going to be fucking pissed that I wasn’t here sooner, and Gerard god Gerard is going to tell everyone if he finds out I was raped again.

I went straight to the bathroom and threw up, then I cleaned myself up and stayed in there until it was time to go to afternoon registration.
When the bell went to signify the end of lunch, I hopped off the counter and slowly walked to registration carrying my bags with me. When lining up outside Mr Way’s classroom I saw Heidi and Callum walking towards me.

Heidi grabbed me in a hug, making me drop my bags, and then put me at arm’s length “you look terrible, what's happened? Why are you so late?”

I looked down and back up to Callum

“Heids, she obviously doesn’t want to talk right now, let’s drop it?” thank you Cal!

Heidi grumbled “fine, but I am not finished with this conversation”

I tried to smile gratefully at Callum but failed, he obviously still understood the gesture as he nodded his head as I grabbed my bags and then put his hand on my back guiding me into our form room.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a shocked look from Mr Way. He looked down and saw me holding to many bags and his face suddenly looked from shocked to see me to confused as to why I have so many bags.

I don’t know why Heidi and Callum didn’t notice them; I mean they’re right there!

I sat down and only then did Heidi notice the bags. “Hey I know I said I’d drop the subject but why do you have so many bags?”

“Um, well I kind of got kicked out by mum and Shannon”

“No, fucking no, that was your home how fucking dare they, I am going to give them a piece of my fucking mind!”

“Heidi sssh please! Last thing I want is people finding out” I said in a hushed voice, not making much difference considering she already has shouted.

“No, it’s out of order Hel, you wouldn’t realize but it is so wrong! Seriously what kind of mother does that?!”

“What kind of step-dad does that” I mumbled

Luckily she didn’t hear me, as she is too busy now talking to Cal about how out of order it is, but someone else did.

“Helena, can I have a word?” Mr Way said. He looked angry and serious, and I knew I didn't have a choice.
