Gerard's POV



Mr.Aukerman sat me down in one of the chairs in his office. It was a disgusting shade of purple, I would have went for something a little more..lively. Like a mauve.

"Is there something wrong?" he asked.

I shook my head, "No, I'm just admiring the scenery. Really nice color scheme you got in here."

"I wanted to go blue and white, the school colors. But the ladies at the front desk insisted on purple and green. I'm glad you like it Gerard."

Wow..this guy. I give a wide plastic smile, just for him.

"Now. Let's chat about what happened here."

"Two boys fighting out their few differences.. I guess.." I giggle.

He smiles at me, "I guess you forgot about the cameras then. I have to say though, it was a solid story Gerard."

What?.."Pardon me sir? Cameras?"

"Yes Gerard. There's a security camera in every hallway.. And classroom."

My jaw dropped. "Shit.. what are you gonna do? Suspend me? Is that what I'm here for?"

"No, I want to know what happened in the bathroom. And why you did it."

"So I'm not going to be suspended?" I asked, confused as ever.

"Oh no, you are." Mr.Aukerman laughed.

Ah, shit. I slumped down in the ugly chair.
"Why do you wanna know what happened?"

"So I can put it in your file."

"Shit!" I yelled, tugging at my hair.

"Stop.. stop it! Gerard." he snapped at me.

I let my hands fall and I stuff 'em in my pockets. "He was talking to my brother. I got jealous I guess..I don't know. I'm just kind of a bully, you know why bullies do the things they do. You've been to all the seminars.." My tone dull, and almost lifeless.

He nodded. "So what is it, abusive parents? Neglect. Open up Gerard."

I sigh. "Shouldn't I be talking to a counselor about this kind of stuff?"

"A pity story will soften the blow on the file."

"Oh.. well.. My parents are never home and my brother doesn't like me much. That good enough?"

"I don't think so.." He smirked. "What about we make a little something up."

"Sir?"

"Lets say you did it in an act of repressed homosexuality. It'll be hoot for colleges to see that. Plus, they're saps for minorities."

"But sir I'm not gay."

"Sure" he gave me a nasty grin that made my insides want to be on the outside.
