3rd Person POV


1 Week Later


Gerard sat alone at his empty lunch table. He used to have friends, more like a posse. But they were all gone now, 'You've gone soft' their words still haunted him.

He liked the idea of his school being somewhat of a better place because of him, but with peace comes zero respect.

Sure, Frank opened his eyes but on the flip side.. he was being isolated by everyone.. they had yet to open their own eyes and see Gerard had changed.
Even if it meant he was soft, this was high school. Doubled standards are a major thing in that type of bull shit society.

Frank still wasn't speaking with him, and every time he saw the small boy, Frank ran away. Gerard wondered if it was because he was nervous about the seven passionate seconds they had together.. Who knew.

Gerard sighed and flipped the pages of his latest book. 'The other side of normal'. When he noticed a shadow over his head.

Gerard turned to look at the figure that stood behind him. "James?" he bit his lip and stared at his old friend.

"So you're a faggot now?"

Gerard put his book down. "Excuse me?"

"Yeah. Aukerman said so."

Gerard shook his head and stood up to meet James.

"No. He's full of shit. He only said that so my file wouldn't be so bad."

"White boy denial." James laughed. "You're soft..and gay." he pushed Gerard back against his table.

"You just made a huge fuckin' mistake buddy." Gerard growled. James smirked and looked around, everyone else in the cafeteria was staring at them. "Don't make a scene Gee bear" James tutted.

"You're provoking me.. I've gotta right." Gerard straightened up his shirt.

"You wouldn't hit me, you're too much of a fairy. I'm so surprised I haven't seen you for what you are sooner." James looked around at everyone once more "Gerard Way is a faggot!" he yelled.

Gerard knew if he hit him, everyone wouldn't think he'd changed at all. But if he didn't people would agree with the accusation.

"Fag. Fairy Princess. Little miss Way." someone from the 'audience yelled' back.

Gerard broke. He grabbed James by the collar of his shirt and punched him square in the jaw. James fell to the ground, Gerard scoffed and stepped over him.

He went to the door way and then turned around to face the cafeteria "You're safe".

Gerard angrily made his way down the hallway, taking down anyone who stopped in his path.

One of those people was Frank.

Frank quietly made his way to lunch, when he spotted a tall angry figure stomping down the hall. He looked down and walked faster, hoping to pass the other guy.
Gerard noticed Frank.

"You." he stopped the boy.

Frank looked up scared, and then he realized who it was. He was even more scared.

"Why are you pretending that I don't exist?"

Frank didn't say anything. "Hello?!" Gerard shook him.

"P..pp-please don't hurt me." Frank stared at the floor.

"Why would I hurt you?!"

Frank didn't say anything. "Are you scared of me? Or are you embarrassed? Frank I'm not ashamed of what happened." .. "As long as you don't blabber all about it".

Frank looked at Gerard confused. "What?" Frank quietly mumbled.

"Oh my god. You must have been-.. oh my good. Oh fuck." Gerard pushed Frank away and ran down the hall, far away from him as possible."

Frank stood there, confused, and also angry at the tent that had appeared from his tight skinny jeans.
