The Voice From The Ocean
Chapter 5: Who watches over you?
I was attempting to clamber back to shore. I was struggling , I was never a great swimmer.
My feet were shakily balanced onto a small rock about to detach its self from the flat ground underneath as the water was up to my chest and there was waves clashing into my face.
I didn't know how long I was able to hold on. I started to shiver .
That's when I thought to myself " Is this the end? Am I really going to die here?"
My feet became numb which resulted in me stumbling and plunging deep into the water.
The next minute was a complete blur. The salt water trapped my eyes , so there was no way I could open them , no matter how hard i rubbed or scratched.
But something I could sense. Something that scared the shit out of me.
I was dragged from one side of the water to the other by a presence I was unaware of.
It gripped me by the arms tightly.
It stopped suddenly. I felt numb , that was when i began to open my eyes.
Darkness everywhere. It didn't stop. I began to wonder if this was how it ended.
" Am I dead ? " I asked myself while touching my face.
A voice started to cackle " I've been waiting for you... Gerard ..Way"
It sounded like a maniacal female. I freaked out " H - H - How do you know my name?"
The voice continued to cackle " I am the knower of many things and I happen to know why you are here"
