The Long Lost Daughter

Chapter 3: Getting Information

Bandit P.O.V.

I sat in my room. Why was Officer Rickey here? Is it good or bad? Why had he asked me about my age and birthday?

Is he looking for Bandit?

I shake the thought away. I lay down on my bed and shut my eyes.

"Bailey. Bailey, wake up," I hear my brother say.

"What?" I asked.

"You fell asleep. Quick, look up the information on Bandit." Brady said. He got my laptop and turned it on. "Yo. What's your password?"

"Like I'm going to tell you. Give me it." I commanded and he gave me my laptop. I typed in the password and went to the Internet then to Google.

"What do I search," I asked.

"I don't know. 'What happened to Bandit Lee Way,' 'the long lost daughter,' 'Gerard and Lindsey Way daughter,' things like that." Brady said looking to the screen as I typed 'what happened to Bandit Lee Way'.

A lot of pages came up. I sighed and went to the first page. It was a page long.

'On May 27, 2009, a baby named Bandit Lee Way has disappear from the nursery of the hospital Los Angeles Downtown Hospital at eleven PM.

Police reports that a woman had kidnapped the baby. The woman was dress in white and has blond hair.

Gerard Way, father of the baby and front-man of My Chemical Romance, and Lindsey Way, mother of the baby and bassist of Mindless Self Indulgence, asked fans to help the search of Bandit Lee Way.

After a whole week since Bandit was kidnapped, a camera from El Paso, Texas caught the woman and Bandit leaving a bus station.

Police in El Paso went in the investigation to see where they went. Theory has that the woman had escaped to Mexico with Bandit.

Boarder patrol looked at their security cameras and there wasn't any blond woman with a newborn passing the boarder.

After a month of no sign of Bandit and the kidnapper, Los Angeles police had reported to other cities and states about the lost baby.

Some police had gone to people's homes and asked if they seen Bandit or the woman. So far, no sign of them.

Sixteen years later, police in Belleville, Kansas has reported to have a girl born May 27, 2009 at the same time Bandit Lee Way had disappear.

Some police has consider this a coincidence. But, after looking at the missing children board, the girl had looked the same as Bandit now picture.

Officer Rickey of Belleville Police Station has said the girl had looked a lot like Lindsey Way. "The mother of the girl said she wasn't adopted," said Officer Rickey. "The girl doesn't even look like her mother, nor her father, not even the brother she has looks a little bit like her."

Can this be all a coincidence or have we found Bandit Lee Way? Police in Belleville, Kansas said they'll keep an eye out on the family.

-James Smith'

"Bailey, this was written a couple of hours ago!" Brady said.

"They're watching us." I said.

"Lets see another page." Brady said.

'Today, May 27, 2025, we might of found the long lost daughter of Gerard and Lindsey Way. After the birthday of Bandit and the anniversary of her lost, Police in Belleville, Kansas has reported that they might of found Bandit.

As most of you have known, Bandit Lee Way was kidnapped May 27, 2009 around eleven PM. The woman who had kidnapped her and Bandit were last seen leaving a bus station in El Paso, Texas, close to the boarder of Mexico.

Most police thought the kidnapper took Bandit with her to Mexico. Boarder patrol looked at their footage only to find out the kidnapper never came to the boarder.

After all of that commotion, a report was sent to almost every city and state about the stolen baby.

Sixteen years later, Officer Rickey of Belleville Police Station in Kansas has reported that they might of found Bandit.

Have we found Bandit?

-Clarissa Reynolds'

"Brady, why do they all think I'm Bandit," I asked.

"Bailey, I'm pretty sure you are." Brady said.

"What?"

"Okay, you were 'born' May 27, 2009 at eleven PM. You look like Lindsey. You don't look like any of us.

"You prefer comic books and books over make up! You rather learn how to play bass guitar and guitar than learn how to play the flute or the clarinet! You can draw! That's all the things Gerard and Lindsey's daughter would of done! You even got the awkward pinkie that Gerard has!

"Come on, at least you have got to think you might be their daughter!" Brady said.

"Okay, maybe there is a slight chance I can be their daughter. But you know what it means right," I said.

"That mom kidnapped you," Brady whispered.

That was like a slap in my face. Mom might of kidnapped me.

"Why would she do that," I whispered. Brady shrugged.

"Mom! I'm going to the plaza!" I said.

"Okay honey, stay out of trouble." Mom said.

"Can I go with Bailey?" Brady asked.

"Okay. Don't fight!" Mom called.

"We won't," we said simultaneously.

After we got in the car and started to leave our home, we headed to the police station.

"Okay, so what are we going to do?" I asked.

"I think they get your finger print?" Brady said.

After parking, we went inside to the police station.

"Hello," said a brunette lady.

"Hi, can we talk to Officer Rickey?" I asked.

"Yeah."

The lady called Officer Rickey and said to take a seat in his office. We waited for a couple of minutes before Officer Rickey came to his office.

"Bailey, Brady, what are you doing here," Officer Rickey asked.

"We came here to do some test to see if I am Bandit," I said.

"Where's your parents?" Officer Rickey asked.

"Here's the thing," Brady began. "If our parents know about this, they can make Bailey or should I say Bandit disappear again."

"True. Okay, we're going to do some finger prints." Officer Rickey said.

He got out an ink pad and some special paper. He asked me to put my fingers one by one on the ink pad and then on the paper. I did what I was told. Officer Rickey then got out another piece of paper that already has tiny finger prints on them. He compare them and after he finish comparing, his eyes had widen.

"Bailey." Officer Rickey said.

"Yeah." I said.

"Your finger prints match Bandit's finger prints." Officer Rickey said.

"You're Bandit!" Brady said.

"But we can't tell mom or dad. We're already going to L.A. next week. Tell the police of Los Angeles about me. But make sure the media doesn't know. Please." I said.

"Where are you going with this, Bailey," Officer Rickey said.

"I want to see my real parents. I won't be able to see them if mom or dad find out. We were planning to go to L.A. next week for a visit to my aunt Jenna. When I'm alone tell the one of the police dudes to take me to my parents." I said.

I never thought Gerard and Lindsey will be my parents. That means all these years I've been wishing for myself to find my real parents. Also, that I was kidnapped by my so call mom.

"You're one intelligent young lady," Officer Rickey said. "I'll tell them."
