That was brilliant. I think Gerard knows Korse put him in danger, after all you said he remebered what he did to his parents and that's something he can't forgive or forget. Was he just going along with it just to fool Korse and get shot of Petra?

I cant wait for the next chapter. I started to laugh so harde when she asked "Sassy, aint he?" Like lityle did she know. But anyways great story I love it <3.

Sorry, I really can't help it. With you going with the flow, I can totally understand that. Can't wait until the boys break out though, that's gonna be fun when Korse faces his nephews when they're Party Poison and Kobra Kid

Lol! Even if I knew, I couldn’t say just in case others read reviews. That would be a major spoiler :D

Truth is, I make it up as I go generally. If you were looking over my shoulder as I was writing, you’d find out what was going on seconds after I did!

You know what? That’s probably a nice little one shot idea you have there! Maybe you should write it? :D
To fit in with my timeline, there needs to be another 3 years minimum. But even if they’re planning on getting out, they won’t necessarily manage it straight away anyway. Right now, even though things are bad, the idea of escaping to the Zones for 10 and 13 year olds is pretty frightening.

Mmm... he might be, just a little at first. I can’t say more without giving stuff away but rest assured, Mikey will find out how BLI operates. I know this isn’t giving anything away, because we all know he left to become Kobra Kid. The break may be a while off yet though - I want to keep it consistent with my other story for continuity. I’m a bit of a stickler for that.

Hi, the next update will depend on my essay for uni, how tricky it is and how long it takes to write. However, we’re a few chapters off them becoming the killjoys yet. Quite a few probably. Can’t say for sure - it’s not like I plan these things.
Btw, I have to admit I was a bit surprised that after you took the trouble to ask me if I minded you doing an origins story (which, of course I don’t because yours is quite different) that you have Korse as Gerard and Mikey’s uncle as well as me. It seems the sort of thing you might have mentioned.

I'm glad u liked that idea. When I've been fleshing out my idea, which is similar to yours but a female version of Gerard Way/Party Poison, I had Gera (fem!Gee) see her parents murdered when she's woken up the night before her eighth birthday. Mikey is traumatized so much he blanks the event out and eventually Gera leaves Battery City with Frank as she's had enough of being told what she can and can't do.

Mikey believes what BLI says and joins the Scarecrows once he's old enough to, thus being sent after Party, Jet Star and Fun Ghoul. That is until Party loses her mask and he realises he's almost murdered his sister...

I hope you can update this soon, I can't wait to read what you've got planned for Mikey, Frank and Gee. Especially on how they leave Battery City and meet Jet Star, thus becoming the Fabulous Killjoys.

Hi! In all honesty, I have no idea what will happen or how Mikey will change his mind about BLI but I’m sure it’ll come to me when I get there XD Your idea is good - it would have to be pretty drastic but I’ll have to wait until I get there - I’m not what you’d call a planner!

Re using the basic story, do you mean the Killjoys as kids? Or more than that? If just the kids thing then, sure, I don’t have a problem with that at all. If you mean their situations and stuff, that might be different, but I doubt you meant that :)

I’m looking forward to reading yours! I love Killjoy fanfics :D

Thanks for replying. I was thinking what if Korse tries to eventually do to Gee what he did to their father, maybe Mikey seeing what his 'Uncle' does to his brother might make him see that BLI isn't what he thinks it is and sides with Gerard against Korse.

Also, is it alright if I can use the basis of your story for myself? I liked it so much that I thought up something along the same lines but a little different since I genderswap characters.

Ah, yes, poor Mikey. BLI have really done a number on him, haven’t they? Poor kid, because of his indoctrination he actually believes that BLI is wonderful.
It’ll be a while yet, depends on how much I speed up time as I write :P
