Now it's getting good, why have I got the feeling once he's back to normal, Gerard will flat out refuse to go back to Battery City? Would Edward manage to smuggle out Frankie and Mikey as well or would they go willingly with him to be with Gerard again?

Mikey’s young, but he’s not stupid. Unfortunately, it does look like BLI are the heroes at this point. But, I guess he has to find out at some point... I wonder when?

That sounds cool. I wonder how long until Mikey starts suspecting BLI isn't as good as he thinks. With Gee going missing, is that beginning to click something in him?

Oh, I’m not saying he doesn’t suspect him, just that there are other possibilities too. His comment of ‘I know how I’ve been treated.’ was quite telling. Don’t forget though that Gerard wasn’t aware that Korse was testing Petra’s theory.
It may become more obvious to him if/when Petra is replaced.

Well, from my perspective, Gerard would suspect Korse. Maybe Gee might suspect Edward to be an undercover killjoy as well, who knows. So many potential theories and possibilities to go on. I hope you update soon, I'm really enjoying this

I believe Gerard’s main reason for fighting them was that he didn’t want them to see he was scared. But he has spent the last 3 years pretending to believe in BLI, it’s almost second nature now.
Korse showing up when he did would have struck him as suspicious perhaps but what might seem even more suspicious is that it happened immediately after Edward discussing it with him. What, if anything, will he make of that, I wonder?

So glad you’re enjoying the story. I’m having so much fun writing it. In fact, so much that I’m neglecting starting my sequel to The Collector. I need to get going on that, though. I did promise and I’d like to get some done before uni starts again.
