This chapter was great too! I love reading your work, it makes my day every time I see the alert that you’ve updated or replied to my comments. I’m glad you find it therepeutic as well, it’s always more enjoyable to read something knowing the person who wrote it wanted to write it for their own joy.

Im really sorry to hear about your mum, I couldn’t imagine that type of loss. Take it easy and make sure you take care of yourself, okay? If you need to talk privately about it, you’ve still got my email address right? I know I’m just a massive fan of your work, but it might be nice to get any frustrations out to a stranger on the internet. Just know I’m here, on my phone, wanting you to be alright.

Ah, another Frankie fan! :) I can't help myself, I think he's wonderful! So beautiful, pretty, cute and small.
I'm so glad you're enjoying it - that makes me very happy to hear. I'm really enjoying writing it. The Danger Days world is so great to work with as there's a lot of scope for imagination.
That's quite the compliment you left me, I just hope I can live up to expectations and continue to write something you'll enjoy.

Hi, sorry for the huge delay in replying. I'm afraid I had some really terrible stuff going on lately - my mum passed away. I just couldn't do anything and to be honest, I'm still struggling. I don't know if you saw chapter 42 as I already had that written and I posted it just as mum was getting ill and I never got around to answering your comment. It's now a few weeks later and I'm still in shock and quite dazed, but I find writing helps. I've just posted chapter 43 and I don't know if it's up to scratch, but it's something. I'm off work until after Easter which I know I need to do, but I will miss it too. It's a difficult situation.

I know I'm late to the Party (bad pun intended), but really enjoying this. Despite having all the Killjoy comics, I don't often read Killjoy fics but yours drew me right in. Oh and you can keep up the Frankie bias (hee, hee, hee).

Wow, do you ever give patty a break for like, more than five chapters? Lol, this is fantastic. And man that doctor guy is one hell of a squealer, isn’t he? He’s a really great character, but if he’s not careful he’s gonna get some of that killjoy justice for ratting out Poison and ghoul’s location.
I really like your characterisations, no need to explain owt to me.
And sorry I must have been half asleep or something when I posted that comment, I meant mini PARTY. With a y on the end. Lol sorry for the confusion, but also screw it. Write as many Mary Sues as you could ever want, the literary world already has too many Gary Stu’s, more Mary Sues won’t hurt.
You know I’d read every chapter of any and every sequel or prequel you write, or any other story you write. Write what pleases you, and I’ll be your personal cheerleader. Reminds me, I have to comment on the Fabulous Killboys, but that’ll probably be another day.
Im actually on a long drive home rn from Bristol. It was their applicant day, and it’s definitely the uni I’m going to considering everyone else turned me down. Oh well. I’ll just have to find some sort of Northerner society since I couldn’t hear anyone else from home lol. The fellow vet science students are... interesting.
Bristol felt so much bigger than Durham, but apparently it’s smaller? I think I figured out why though. Bristol’s population is 6.5X that of Durham, the city centre isn’t mostly pedestrianised and there’s just... no... grass... like you seem to need to actually plan to find some nature in Bristol rather than wandering into it every 5 minutes. The next 5 years are going to be interesting, that’s for sure. But we found the O2 arena and a cat pub so that’s me sorted.
And yeah, I heard. I didn’t really know that much about Sweet Pea but I feel sorry for Frank. Losing furry family members is the worst.
This has been quite the journey of a story, and I’m absolutely gonna ride this journey to the end. Thank you so much for all the time you put into it, you’re the best!

Hiya! Yeah, I can’t believe it either! Well, 41 now. Can you believe I was set to wrap it up about 15 or so chapters ago, but the characters had other ideas! Well, no, I was going to write a sequel, but it just made more sense to just carry on.
Yeah, Jet’s being really quite mean to Kobra, but it’s his own fault for having that rep of his (that I made up - don’t know why exactly, but it seemed to fit. I know Mikey’s kinda shy, but I see Kobra as quite rakish).
Dear sweet beautiful Ghoul, why do I put him through so much? Tell me, does my Frankie bias look big in this??
I don’t know about taking a mini part in it, lol! I’m always concerned about self inserts and Mary Sues. To be honest, that’s why so many of my female characters turn out to be bad - because I don’t want people to think they’re me! Although, maybe people do think they’re me and that I’m evil! Hehehe! Imagine that!
I’m so glad you’re still enjoying this, it’s been quite the journey. Still a few chapters to go yet though. I actually do have a sequel started for this, but I don’t know if I’ll keep going with it. Maybe? Maybe not? I don’t know.
Anyway, I hope you like 41 :)

Woah, we’re up to chapter 40 already? It feels like I found this fic just a few weeks ago because I enjoy it so much! You should have like a mini part to celebrate 40 chapters or something, that’s some darn dedication, especially with uni and all your exciting hobbies!
Poor Kobra being out on the spot like that, it’s embarrassing enough when family asks if you’re dating, I can’t imagine how embarrassing and unnerving it must be for a friend, who could probably easily kill you, to ask if you had sex with his sister. But I’m glad Ghoul is okay, at least for now. Knowing you it’s not gonna last long but that’s why we keep reading, isn’t it? Knowing somethings bass gonna happen so we can root for the good guys. Good work, keep it up!

Still enjoying this! Sorry, I think I’ve run out of things to say that I haven’t already said whoops. But yes I am loving every word and jumping for joy every time I see you’ve updated. Sorry I didn’t post a comment last time, I read the chapter at like 1 in the morning then went to sleep and forgot to post. I realised there was a new chapter this time cos I’d come to make the comment. Whoops. But make no mistake, even if I don’t comment, I’m still here in the sidelines cheering you on!

You sure do love to put these characters through pain and suffering, don’t you? Thankfully they’ve come out alive this time. The killjoys: Fought a building and survived.

Oh that’s a relief, gotta love a Greggs. Yeah you mentioned that before in relation to Frank’s gig, sorry I forgot about that. I just meant hills don’t bother me since I grew up at the bottom of a massive hill that all my friends lived at the top of so I’m used to it. And every good thing where I live is at the top of a hill it seems, might not be the best place for a visit though.

Adverts for the Eastenders Christmas special kept popping up on the telly so it was at the forefront of my mind lol. Although the excitement is certainly well appreciated!

We spent Christmas abroad so we were really warm, sun bathing and everything! Man, the things my family does to escape other family members at Christmas eh?

Well, as ever, thanks for writing! I always love to see a new chapter of any of your works. Sometimes it feels like I’m unintentionally stalking you across this site, sorry. I’ve even come across completely unrelated works that I enjoyed, looked to the comments and there you are! But I always know I’ll never be disappointed by something you’ve made, so I’m glad.

Worry not - there are no fewer than 27 Greggs in Bristol :D there may even be more, that’s just what I found on a google search :P
I can’t do hills, I can’t even do slopes all that easily! I have a damaged spine and walk with a stick :-/ But I try not to let it stop me doing things. I still write, draw, sing, play drums, go to uni etc. It will not get the better of me!

LOL! Eastenders! I didn’t think about that - yes it was a particularly dramatic Christmas chapter wasn’t it? Lots of did they survive or not? Well, the answer is in the next chapter - just posted. I hope you enjoy it :D

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. We did, it was really nice - lots of cooking though, wearing t shirts the whole time because the oven seems to warm the whole place!

This chapter, whoo boy, really exciting! I need to take classes on writing proper reviews but whatever. I loved everything about it, from the chapter title to the characters to the events... Brilliant! Also, complete sarcasm here, what the hell is this, Eastenders? Killing off or seriously maiming characters at Christmas? Awesome!

Bristol hilly? Hah! Nothing I can’t handle from what I’ve seen at the open day. Everything’s uphill where I live. Both way! Through the snow! Lol but I’m looking forwards to it, ‘hills’ be damned. Only problem is we couldn’t spot the local Greggs at the open day which is a tragedy. You bet we’re gonna be *that* family that turns up to applicant day and asks everyone where the nearest Greggs is lol. Surely it’s an important part of a student meal?

Ah Cliffhangers kill me I love them so much and hate them too! You know the feeling right? Man I’m so pumped every time a new chapter uploads it’s fantastic!

I’ll email you lol. I’ll do that ASAP although you could probably find photos of them on my tumblr blog (it’s viewable by people not logged in) called ‘erins-stitching-portfolio’, I post infrequently but it’s where I put all my art. Oh and I simply have to send you a photo of my MCR fan art then, I think you’ll like it. :P

i haven’t watched it yet I’ve been pretty busy, it’s interview season for the vet schools but I’m done and dusted with that now until the new year. Buuuuuuuut, I have got a place! Bristol uni offered me an unconditional to study vet science there, so I’m definitely going to uni next year! Eek, I’m so excited!

Ooooo, you’ve got me on tender hooks now, Sas! I can’t wait to see how it all goes down! Well, I mean, I can, please don’t push yourself with all the uni stuff and stuff, but you know what I mean. I love this fic and it’s one of my favourite fanfics of all time.
I missed it! I didn’t realise until about 9 o clock at night and was like ‘oops’. I’ll watch it another time, thank you for the link.

Is there a way to send photos via this website? I have one pair of mittens finished already, as well as a pair I knitted for myself ages ago lol.

I guess we write pretty differently then lol. I plan out the story pretty intensely myself before I even start writing, although it can change part way through. It must be pretty exciting not knowing where your own story is going though, the plot twists will surprise everyone then, including you.

l have to check the album out sometime. I’m... pretty bad at that kind of thing though considering it took me until MCR to break up to start listening to them, then listening to Gerard’s album for the first time July of this year, and Frank’s parachute album I only started to listen to 4 days before the show lol. I will listen to it eventually though, thank for the recommendation.

Yes, it’s all about to kick off. I won’t go into detail because I can’t - I don’t know what will happen until I write it! I’ve started it though and trying to build a little tension. Hopefully it’ll work.

Cradle of Filth isn’t to everyone’s taste. But if you like metal, screaming, gothic imagery and theatricality then you might. Try the album Midian on Spotify. That’s my favourite at least. If you prefer your metal a bit more relaxed, try Opeth and their album Blackwater Park.

Oh man it looks like shits gonna go down soon! This story always pumps me up I love it so much! Poor Ghoul, I had a feeling that was gonna happen so you’re very good with foreshadowing. Looking forward to the next chapter as always!
I hope the flu didn’t knock you down too hard, I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better now! I wouldn’t worry too much about the comparisons you use, one time I wrote in an English essay a comparison between Henry V (the play), Call of Duty and MCR’s Mama. Poor teacher hated rock music but she didn’t mark me down for it.
Ive never heard of Cradle of Filth, are they worth checking out?
Good luck with that reading list. Everything’s going good with me too, I’ve got two uni interviews coming up and I’ve finally managed to sell a knitted toy and been commission for a couple of pairs of mittens too (unicorn ones, they’re really cool), so I guess I’m now a professional knitter.

Hi!! I'm so sorry I only just realised you posted a comment. I've had flu for the past 2 weeks and have been really out of it. I had/have a chest and throat infection with it and have been on industrial strength antibiotics and they've really made me think weird thoughts! For instance in my last uni essay, that I only just got in on time because I felt so lousy, I managed to compare therapy to a palaeontological dig! Goodness only knows what the lecturers will make of that!
I'm glad you liked the name Coffin Dancer but I can't claim credit. I was thinking of the Cradle of Filth song Coffin Fodder and just changed the second word to indicate someone who's used to getting out of scrapes.
Yes I can't wait for Frank to release a DVD of the Omeara gig. Or put it on YouTube. I'm sure he'll tell us when he does.
I think I'll try a chapter of MAMS next but uni is so busy now. The reading has ramped up - we already have a long reading list and just had an email to say they want us to buy another book! Also the client work takes a surprising amount of time. But, all's good. Hope things are good with you too!

It genuinely brightens my day when I see a new chapter is posted, it’s so exciting! Poor Party though, and how I wish I had a quid for every time I’ve thought that while reading this masterpiece, I’d be a rich woman! Also, I absolutely love the name “Coffin Dancer”, it’s awesome, and I wish I could come up with names that good. Oh and I’m glad that Korse was so embarrassed he needs a good hiding tbh.
Glad to hear your enjoying uni. I’m... sort of enjoying a gap year. It’s a nice break from the non stop studying of the past three years and so far it feels like the summer holidays cos I worked all summer but I feel like I’m gonna get very bored soon. Thankfully there’s lots of fanfics to read out here.
ifits released on dvd I’m definitely gonna buy it, but then again I am the type of person to mindlessly buy 4 copies of the same Frank Iero song because I’m very poor at controlling myself when presented with merch. I’d probably end up with 5 copies of the dvd simply because it was there, and I would not regret it. Glad to hear you enjoyed the show!
Honestly, I love writing comments that I know will make people happy, and I really enjoy it when the person replies back too, so expect me to keep doing this :P.
