Oh man, what a great ending to a great story. Fantastic story, amazing story, what other synonyms for brilliant Can I use? Thank you so much for writing it. Also, fan goals as FUCK, I got mentioned in the final chapter of my favourite fanfic by my favourite fanfic author! Awesome!

I wish I could tell you more about my bass, but it’s an LA bass in black and white and it’s fucking awesome. I’m not taking proper lessons since I’ve never done well with those, but I’m using an app called Yousician to help me. I can read sheet music too, have been able to since I was, what, 8? Just a little less time than what I’ve been able to stitch lol. Only got good enough to do blind readings recently though; I always had to write the letters lol. It’s lots of fun, turns out most of the songs I was keen to play on the bass are pretty easy, but “They Wanted Darkness” looks more difficult and worthy of working towards (like how Cancer was that for keyboard). So yeah!

Ill have to check out the prequel soon, it took me so long to read this last chapter cos I didn’t want it to end! (That and I was working oops). I look forward to all your future works with bated breath.

Hi! I’m really happy that you enjoyed reading it. It means a lot to hear that, it really does. There will be a sequel, which hopefully you won’t have to wait too long for. But in the meantime, why not take a look at Before They Were Fabulous? It’s a Killjoy origins story - kind of a prequel.

Congratulations on getting your bass guitar! What type is it? Make, model etc :D My husband is a bassist; I hope you enjoy it as much as he did! Are you taking lessons? Can you read music? So many questions! I love to hear about people taking in an instrument - it’s so exciting! Music is life!!

Well, you won’t believe this, but I’ve posted the final chapter. I hope you like it. I want to continue with another and I could have just carried on but it felt like I needed to stop somewhere and start again fresh. But I. The meantime if you’re after something to read, there’s always Before They Were Fabulous which is essentially an origins story. You might like it - plenty of good-guy angst and evildoers doing evil :P

Oh there’s no complaints from me for the story being extended. I will check out your other story as well but I’m frankly rubbish at actually checking out new stories. Or apparently commenting on a chapter before the next is posted lol.
Man I’m so pumped that Party is happy. God am I a sucker for anything angst, hurt/comfort or the like. And poor Party’s has had a hell of a lot of pain.

Thank you for your nice comment on my fic! I’d suggest reading any of the others, but ‘Fire and Iron’ is a Potter fic in name only. 90% ocs and I hate JK’s magic system so I scrapped it. But there’s swords and dragons and fighting, if you’re more into action fics.

Oh and I got my bass guitar! It’s beautiful and I am Learning. Using an app, and very slowly, but fuck does it sound nice.

I don’t know if you’ve spotted a story called Before They Were Fabulous. I was thinking about a sequel (and still am - it’s called Taking Back Fun Day) but you got me thinking about a prequel and I couldn’t resist. So this one is about them as boys, growing up and how their experiences caused them to leave Battery City and rebel against BLI. There are some references to The Collector, but only those that have been raised as historical information. Anyway, you might like it, you might not.

Well, Jet surprised me at least! Obviously I’m a lot more clueless than the Killjoys when it comes to romance. But I definitely won’t complain about extra chapters, means I can put off finding more fanfiction to read for a while. You’ve spoilt me rotten with this one, gonna be hard to find one 1/10th as good lol.
Also I can’t believe people dont leave a thousand nice comments on non-smut stories regularly! That’s a sham! Tbh I’m not really into smut or slash fiction myself (and any that I do read I usually find myself skimming over saucy bits, whoops) so if I do leave a comment it’s gonna be on non-smut stories. That being said I’ve been meaning to leave a comment on your Fabulous Killbots story for a while, I need to get my butt in gear.

Hiya!! I’m thanking you because your comments mean a great deal to me! Knowing that someone is reading and enjoying it so much that they leave a message is phenomenal! Hardly anyone comments on non-smut stories these days but it inspires me to keep working hard to try to make it good enough to keep you interested.

Well, I’ve just posted chapter 49, which turns out to be not the last one after all. No spoilers but I will say that I really wasn’t expecting it, but when I look back at other chapters it seems almost inevitable. So, I’m surprised I didn’t see it coming! :P

I hope you like it, as I say it’s a bit out of left field but, hey, that happens sometimes.

The Harry Potter fanfic does sound really quite specific but also very interesting :D I’d love to hear more about it. is it posted anywhere? I could read it, if you don’t mind :)

Anyhoo, I better crack on. The next chapter might be the the last, or at the very least the penultimate. I have a couple of plot points to close up and the list keeps increasing (and this latest chapter didn’t help! Lol!). Thanks again!!

Ooooooo, penultimate chapter! It sounds so official and scary at the same time. It’s been such a journey and I’m really happy I was here for most of it, cheerleading you along lol.
I am 110% down for angst and fluff. I love it. I love for it. Why’d you think I started reading this? “Kobra Kid has a falling out with Party Poison” shit I am SO THERE. Then I refused to leave.

Oh it wasn’t really that upsetting, it wasn’t major malformation just like, messed up teeth. They were dead a while so it was a little gross but it’s a little par for the course now. I’ve seen plenty of surgeries and this was no worse than those.

I might do, once I feel my anxiety won’t wreak havoc and I figure out what to say. Funnily enough I was also inspired to get back into writing after seeing him live but I don’t think he’d be up for reading Harry Potter fanfic that just has 2 brother’s talking about North East English dragons. I have... very niche interests.

Oh man it’s the best museum ever, I love it. And I’m getting paid really well too! I know exactly what I’m buying with my first pay check, an LA bass guitar! I can’t wait to get it!

Every single cat gets ridiculous amount of attention when I’m there but I’ll make sure to triple hug them next time, for you. They’re all so cuddly and loving, I love them all! Gonna be tough saying goodbye to the cattery when I go to uni, but Bristol Vet school has resident cats you can volunteer to clean out and I know EXACTLY what my first thing I do in Bristol is. Lol. They’ll get cuddles, don’t you worry.

What are you thanking me for? You’re the one who puts out such amazing work for people like me to read, thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing this.

When you said demon lambs, I thought you meant difficult births, not malformed. That must have been quite distressing for you :’( I hope you’re able to put it behind you and just remember the regular births.

Why not tweet him? I do. Everybody else does! He loves to hear about people getting into or back into music, especially if something he’s done or said has inspired it. There have been several he’s even replied to. I’m sure you’ll do great, learning the songs, just because you really want to do it. Keenness really is more than half of the battle.

The museum sounds awesome! If I go up to your neck of the woods, I’m definitely going there!

Oh, could you do me a favour? Next time you’re at the cattery, would you hug a few cat’s for me, please? Especially tortoiseshell and white ones and fluffy black and white ones (and all the other types too!!) - I adore cats, but I can’t have any in the flat :’( Hopefully one day? :)

I’m a little sad this is coming to an end, but it’s been such a journey! I agree, it shouldn’t be dragged out unnessescerily, and I’m sure you’ll figure out the best way for this to end.

I feel awkward tweeting celebrities though, I’d love to tell him but like, what do you even say? ‘I went to one of your concerts and was inspired to learn piano to play a song you didn’t even play there’? Lol. I might though, if I think of what to say and drop kick my anxiety.
Ugh, no you don’t want to have eaten these demon lambs. They were born dead and were really malformed. I’d give a description but it was genuinely disgusting but man, what a story! Everyone gets jealous if you mention you have lambing planned, never mind you’ve done lambing!

Its a living, open air museum! It’s genuinely the best because most of the time I work at the pub, but yesterday I worked in the bank which means spending the whole day telling customers about pre-decimilasation coins and how coins evolved from about 1850 to present day. I’m not even interested in coins but it was really fun! Surprisingly, school kids really like hearing about money.

I bet it’ll take me longer, but I just really wanna learn more rock songs than the random few with amazing piano parts. I should reallly look for better sheet music for bohemian rhapsody next, my current one is just... not good.

Honestly at this point I feel obliged to comment on every chapter but it’s a blessing obligation, like my obligation to hug cats at the cattery. I love doing it and I am 100% down to continue commenting on every chapter until the end, then I’m gonna switch it up and stalk another of your works. Good luck getting rid of me! Lol.

It’s great that you’re getting all that experience though, you’ll be the envy of everyone at uni!
What sort of museum is it? I love museums! Some of my happiest memories from my childhood are of being in a museum (I know, I sound like a real nerd but I don’t care!).

My hubby plays bass too. I badgered him to learn when I joined a band that had no bass player and it made it really difficult for me with nothing to lock into. He’s amazing for agreeing to learn and joining the band when he got good enough, which was really only a few months.

Well, a new chapter up and probably only about 2 to go. I really will miss this, but I have others in my head :D Danger Days is such a fertile place for the imagination. I have in mind a new character; a less than savoury individual with one and a half legs following a ray gun accident - he’s called Stumpy Pat! Bet you can guess where (or rather who) I got his name from! :P

Poor killjoys sound like they need some downtime and Kami is definitely the best for that. I’m not very good at noticing and remember unfinished details from previous chapters so it’s gonna be exciting to see what still needs wrapping up! Still loving it, and while I’ll be sad when it’s finished, I’ll defintely read it again and again!

Lambing is so messy, I’ve stained like 5 pairs of jeans, but it’s *the* quintessential vet work experience; everyone reckons you should get it and if you get it everyone else is jealous. But maaaaaan. Ever seen a demonic lamb? I have, 2 of them. There was something seriously wrong with them and it’s the sort of terrifying but memorable experience that’ll stick with you forever.

The job is desperate to that, it’s work at a museum! I start tomorrow actually. Best museum in the world, and really good pay. I’m getting nearly a quid per hour more than my brother who’s 3 years older and has worked for 5 years, and well above my minimum wage. Means I can save up to see lots of cool bands at uni, and have emergency savings too.

I only recently started learning piano tbh. I did learn a bit at secondary school (but not very well), and tried to teach myself then but never got far, so I gave it up until I saw Frank Iero live and was like “God I gotta try again”. Cancer is the best and most difficult song I can play, followed by the Jam’s ‘Going Underground’, but most other songs I can play are pretty simple, but I’m having fun! I wanna learn a more rock-based instrument next, possibly bass guitar, which will be fun cos I’ve never played string before.

Im happily single and would prefer to stay that way so no hubby’s to play music here, but maybe yours could give you some pointers on piano? I’m definitely not the best for that kind of thing since I still don’t know what I’m reading half the time; I recognise the notes and play the rhythm by ear instead of using the timings and things, so you could always try that.

Well, as always I look forward to the next chapter with baited but patient breath. Glad to hear about your extension, and I hope the content doesn’t get you too down. That’s great news about your job! Sounds messy, but I guess if you’re going to be a vet it’s par for the course.
And! Well done you for being able to play Cancer on the piano! I’m so impressed!! I have enough trouble with the first few notes of WTTBP! I haven’t got it right once. I am always impressed by people who can play piano, it looks so difficult, but it’s so beautiful. Hubby can play and he’s really so good, it puts me off trying - particularly since the only music I can read is drum music. One day, maybe, I’ll try to learn.

Well, I hope you like the new instalment. There are a few chapters left. Not sure how many, yet. It’ll depend on what the characters say to me - there are a few things that I know need addressing, but there’s bound to be more.

Gotta admit, I had a stupid grin on my face for most of this chapter, much like those poor, drunk Killjoys. I love it! The plan was brilliant and also funny, which is exactly what a plan should be imho. Rock on Jet!

Things are going pretty well, yeah! I got a job and I’ve helped with lambing and I’m pretty decent at playing Cancer on piano now. I hope everything’s been going canny for you too, and I hope uni work hasn’t got you down.

Sorry I haven’t replied to your email yet. I’ve been pretty much off grid for a while trying to catch up with my uni work. Luckily I’ve been given an extension on one of my essays because of the subject matter causing me some difficulties after my mum’s passing. So, I’m pretty much back on track now. So I celebrated by writing a TC chapter :D

Awww so many hugs! Hugs left right and centre! I’m not a very huggy person myself but I love characters hugging it’s just so sweet. You know how to leave a cliffhanger Sas, I’m really excited for the next chapter as always but, as always, I’ll be patient.
