Lol. Most of the white is my hair. It decided to do this whole cockatoo thing which was just perfect.
Good! More people need to adore being freaks. Why be another grey blob? Ever since that night, I've found that I'm happiest when I don't fit in and shock the living crap out of people.

@Clockwork.Sanity
I think I see it now. Yeah yeah, I see feathers.
Damn right you should be proud. Being weird is awesome. I mean, compared to everyone at school, I'm a freak and I adore it. Comic books, coffee, and cats. The three C's.

Haha! Naw. It's a blurry Halloween picture of me. I threw together my own out-there psychotic bird costume (since I had a feathered masquerade mask) but just ended up looking like a thrift shop threw up on me. My favourite part, though was spraying my hair white and making my face all sparkly-gold ('cause death-pale me didn't exactly go well with my flamboyant costume.
It was the night I realized that not fitting in is what makes me happiest. Every look of derision and mutter of "What the heck is she?" just made me more proud.
Wow. That was one long explanation. But that was a pretty loaded night.

*elaborate thumbs up snap thing*
What is the thing on your profile picture? Is that a goat? I'm probably gonna feel like an idiot when you tell me, but I just can't make it out.

@Stitches
I can tell. And in a situation when most writers would overdo it, you pulled it off perfectly!

@Clockwork.Sanity
Thank you. I was actually thinking practically when I wrote it. If you're pulled into a killer's game, most people wouldn't stay calm, cool, and collected; they'd have a bit of a nervous breakdown. Just the thought of almost guaranteed premature death would many people to hysterics, espescially someone who was currently recovering from a lifechanging event. Like dying.

Yay! I like you, too. I like the unique reactions. For anyone else, it'd be just a bit overdone. But you make it work and it's perfect for Gerard and Frank. But who am I to ask when I'm the queen of overdramatic reactions in novels? XP

@BLOOD'Y REVENGE
That's good that's good that's gooooooood.

I'm an only child, and didn't really start having friends until sixth grade, so I kind of modeled my behavior after the adults around me. I grew up too quickly.
How about Three Days Grace? Before Adam left, though; Matt does no justice.
I'm actually planning on becoming a writer, along with getting a degree in psychology.

Aw. Well the strange "outcast" people are always the coolest. Screw normal. Who wants to be another grey blob. Forget the haters and just be you. This is definitely your talent, so keep on going at it. You NEED to be published. Seriously.
Finger Eleven is pretty awesome, but another I haven't given a proper listen to in a while.
And dude, you are the most mature 13-year-old I've ever known.

@Clockwork.Sanity
I just got the new NIN album, Hesitation Marks. So, so good. It's amazing what one guy can do. The guitarist for Tool actually directs some of their music videos, which I find pretty cool. You like Finger Eleven?
It marks the end of an era for MCR, but also the beginning of a new age for me.
Gatlinburg is really quite nice. It's clean, but the traffic getting in is absolutely horrible.
Man, thanks for the compliments. This site is the only place I can get them and I adore it. Especially such complex, thoroughly explained ones such as this.

@Stitches
Ohhhhh my gosh. Tool and their beautiful complexity... I just wish I had been into music like that and not still a Top 40's girl when my cousin was so obsessed with them and introduced me to them.
My mom likes Nine Inch Nails. I haven't really given them a proper listen, but I intend to someday.
That is amazing that you're this talented and only 13. Dude, you get a birthday on an MCR event!
Oh gosh, I love Tennessee. I so wanted to stay in Gaitlinburg (I think I spelled that right) when we took a vacation to Dollywood. I loved the mountains and just the atmosphere and fresh air.

@Clockwork.Sanity
Yep. I'll be fourteen the day May Death Never Stops You comes out. It's bittersweet.
I would love to live in a smaller city than I do now; I used to live in a relatively small town up in Indiana, but then we moved to Memphis of all places, so it was a huge change.
I love being able to hear the raw emotion in someone's voice. What I also like is listening to an album that's relevant to world now. Nine Inch Nails does that perfectly. "Capital G" and the political scenarios now: perfectly aligned. And I love the way Tool furthers their songs' points with amazing animated music videos.

@Stitches
The Smiths! That's the band I forgot. How could I? They have to be my favourite ever.
I may love the unique style and narrative of The Killers and the frankness of Brand New, but Morrissey is able to put so much feeling into his lyrics that few artists can do. You know exactly what he was feeling and thinking when he wrote those words. And he relays it so perfectly that it leaves you feeling the same way. "Asleep" is a perfect example.

@Stitches
Yep. Not the most fun place to live. I hate the city. It's coming back to it after a road trip that's the best. We always take this route where we're in complete blackness and it's the dead of night and you go over this hill that's just pitch black, then suddenly this whole city is illuminated in front of you. Kinda redeems the city's reputation and the fact that I hate city living.
That's awesome! I'm studying for my Associates in Psychology right now. And I write psychological thrillers. But ya know, I experience mental "illnesses" myself, too, so yeah, that helps. XD
Whoa. Are you saying you're only 13? With this talent?! That's amazing!

@Clockwork.Sanity
Thanks. I've been studying psychology for a while now (by a while I mean a year; I can't do major studying in only thirteen years), and I just find it so interesting, so I figured I should do it some justice. Not every schizophrenia sufferer becomes a deranged psychopath who kills because the voices tell him to.
You live in Vegas? That's really cool. I've been there once. We bought milk; not the most wonderful idea in the heat of summer.

I also wanted to commend you on your description of schizophrenia (in The Mistake). I'm a schizophrenic and it's nice to know that there are people out there that don't think it's all about the voices and everything or making you a killer. There's like a whole other personality to it, especially when coupled with other mental illnesses or insomnia. Or, in Gerard's case, physical and emotional circumstances.
