Holy shit, you made my day. Really, it's about 5:30 am here and you just made my day already. I was always pretty proud of my writing; it's what I'm best at. But you just blew my opinion of it out of the water. Like, it could be swimming from Jaws and not get as high as this. Or, ya know, smoking pot.

Ya know, I've never read/watched Fullmetal Alchemist (trust me, I've heard a shit-ton about it) but now I think I'll go on Netflix and have a marathon, complete with junkfood galore.
...you know who the Killers are. I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. But I will find you, and I will hug the absolute shit out of you.
As for my favourite band, I love me some Killers or Brand New. Or the amazing Icelandic band Sigur Ros.

It vaguely reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist, if you've ever read that manga/seen that anime, what with the gloves and the equal importance and there were red eyes in there somewhere, I'm certain.
As for this chapter (and all the others before it, in fact) impeccable characterization. I love your style more and more with each chapter of each story.
Your description of James Patterson is damn near perfect. I'm always wondering how the heck he whips out those novels so fast.
I love your writing so, so much. You seem like an awesome person and you have some extreme talent there. You need to be published! Wish I knew writers like you in real life.
Your style is gorgeous. How you described the school was just... AGH, there are no words.
And then comparing the way brothers. I kept seeing it like one of those things when half the place they're walking across is all doom and gloom and then the other half is all sunshiney. Complete with music changes. (Excuse my lack of acceptable adjectives. I'm an insomniac and sometimes more brain-missing than I am Fight Club.)

I KNOW! It's so hard to find Killers fans. I've tried I don't know how many times on my Twitter to butt myself into their fandom like I have MCRmy. I SWEAR, it's harder than hacking into the Pentagon.
AWWW. I'm glad I made your day. Hun, you are phenomenal at writing. You deserve the praise. Why can't you live in Vegas so we can chat about writing over coffee or something? XP I need more writers in my life.
