School passed quickly and there hadn't been any sign of Josh at all. I had been on edge all day though, looking out for him. I was in history now, none of the boys were in it. I didn't know anybody actually. I was sitting near the back and kept scanning the room. Suddenly my eyes met with a girl in the same row as me, she was sitting at a couple of tables to the right. I was sure it was the girl Mikey had been talking to this morning. She smiled as she recognized me. I returned a smile back, she was cute.
History itself was boring, we were being taught about the first world war and I could feel my eyes becoming heavy. I would look over to the clock often yet it didn't seem to be moving fast. I wondered if Frank was having as good a time as me. A smile grew on my face as i thought of him. I'm sure this class would have been passing faster if he was in it with me.
"Your homework is to be done for the start of next month, so you don't have long. Now, enjoy the rest of your day class" The teacher said finishing up the lesson. Well thinking about Frank had certainly helped pass the time.
I stood up from my seat and was greeted by the same girl I had caught eyes with at the start of the lesson.
"Hi, I'm Jennifer" She introduced herself smiling shyly.
"Er, I'm Gerard." I stuttered. I was flattered she had even noticed me. "Do you know my brother, Mikey?" I asked. A smile grew on her face as I mentioned his name.
"Yes, I'm going to his house to work on our biology assignment" She replied grinning. Trust Mikey, the first time we get a girl coming to our house and i'm kept in the dark about it. "Well, i guess your house then if he's your brother," She giggled. "You don't mind do you?" She asked biting her lip.
"No, that's fine with me" I said smiling. "Are you meant to be meeting Mikey somewhere then?" I asked. She had adorable blue eyes, they weren't as beautiful as Franks though. Oh god.
"Yeah, just the gates outside" she replied blushing. She seemed to have a crush on Mikey, cute.
We both made our way outside of the school and found Mikey standing by the gates.
"Hey!" Jennifer called to Mikey. He was pleased to see her, I could tell by the huge grin on his face. I'm sure Jennifer could as well.
"Well," I spoke, "Shall we all head!" I suggested.
"Sure" Mikey replied.
Mikey and I began to lead the way to our house. Once again i started thinking about Frank. He would never leave my thoughts. I noticed Jennifer was looking at me, I smiled at her and she blushed. Wait, I thought she liked Mikey. Why was she blushing at me? Why would she even blush at me. It was a nice feeling anyway.
Once we arrived at our house Mikey led Jennifer to his bedroom and left me on my own. Poor Jennifer I laughed to myself. An hour passed and Jennifer had came downstairs and into the kitchen where I was sitting.
"Having fun?" I smiled.
"Not really" she replied, "Biology is one of my weakest subjects at school, and it doesn't seem to be Mikey's strongest either!" she laughed. "So I've decided to take a break and see what you were doing." She smiled.
"What about Mikey?" I asked.
"He was the one that suggested it, he mentioned how you don't like being alone and he's happy reading some batman comic now" she chuckled.
Mikey did love his comics. I gestured my hand to the seat next to me implying for her to take it.
"You and Mikey seem really close." I announced attempting to make conversation as she sat herself down
"Yeah, He's amazing." She smiled, "But we're just friends." She added.
"I see" I smiled. I imagined sitting with Frank. His smile was the cutest ever, I would much rather be sitting with him. I noticed my palms becoming sweaty at the thought.
I really needed to get these thoughts out of my head. They weren't normal.
"I think you two would be cute together" I stated trying to stop my thoughts from wandering.
"Maybe, but i think there's someone else I like" she whispered blushing as her face moved closer to mine.
"Who?" i whispered back.
All of a sudden I felt her lips pressed against mine, I didn't want this. I had always wanted to kiss someone, but this just didn't feel right. I kissed her back anyway and pushed my fingers through her hair. I realized this was the only way i was going to stop thinking about Frank. I moved my lips along with her. I couldn't feel anything, I needed more I assumed. I pressed my tongue on her lips and she slowly parted them allowing me to enter her mouth and let my tongue explore. I pulled her closer to me and felt her tongue moving in my own mouth. I imagined she were Frank and finally adrenaline began to pump through my body at the thought.
"Oh, Gerard" I heard her moan, I kept kissing her, my tongue exploring deeper. I traced the sides of her body with my fingers.
"Uh, Frank" I murmured as my fingers began to tremble. I felt her push me away and her face was now filled with hurt.
I did not just say that out loud. Before she had the chance to say anything we both realized Mikey was standing across from us, his eyes filled with shock.
"Sorry to interrupt.." He gulped. "I'm just going to go back to my...."
"It's fine!" Jennifer intercepted, " I was just leaving anyway."
She turned back to me and gave me a disgusted look. She stood herself up and made her way over to the front door, I walked over with guilt spreading over me. Mikey seemed disappointed, but I could tell he was trying hiding it. How could I do that to him, I knew he had liked her. It had been obvious.
"Please," I whispered to Jennifer, "Don't tell anyone about ..you know."
Hurt filled her eyes. She didn't say anything instead she opened the door and slammed it shut.
"Woah, I didn't mean to make her mad" Mikey gulped as she left.
"You didn't" I sighed turning back to him. He was awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.
"So, she's angry with you?" He asked confused, he obviously hadn't heard me. I gave out a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, Mikey." I replied. "I'm sorry, I could tell you liked her too and I shouldn't have done that."
"It's fine," he replied, "It's not like we were dating, I'm fine with it, honest." He looked away, he was most definitely not fine with it.
"She probably hates me now anyway, if it makes you happier" I sighed.
"Why was she angry with you?" He questioned.
Should I tell him? We were brothers, we normally told each other everything. I looked down at the floor.
"Because, I didn't want to kiss her." I began, "I started to imagine somebody else and I said their name" I gulped looking back up to see his expression. He seemed happier.
"So you don't like her then?" He asked, "And who is the girl you actually like then?" he further questioned.
Girl, ha. I didn't know if i could tell him. Jennifer knew now. This was such a mess.
"No, Mikey" i sighed, "I don't like her and i don't think you'd understand" I felt a tear trickle down my cheek.
"Gee, its okay!" he cuddled me. "You can tell me, I wont judge you, you cant help who you have feelings for, just tell me who the lucky girl is." He added as he stroked my back trying to soothe me.
"That's it though, hes a boy" The words came out choked, it felt as though I had a knot in my throat. I had just told my brother I liked a boy.
"Gee, you idiot." He cuddled me tighter, "I wouldn't care if it was a unicorn you fell for." We both laughed. Mikey was obsessed with unicorns. "So, who is he?" Mikey asked as he let go of me, still smiling.
Here we go, Just tell him.
"Frank" i muttered.
"Well, you could of at least tried to surprise me." He chuckled.

"I love you, Gee." He sighed.
