GERARDS POV
I Shuffled through the corridors trying to find my way to art, the only problem was I had no idea where I was going. I looked along the walls trying to find signs or posters to relate to any subjects but nothing.
“Hey!” I heard a boy shout from behind. Great, he was probably about to shout some rude remarks next. Just what I needed to make this day even better.
“What do you want.” I sighed as I turned round. “Wait….you're that small boy who was standing outside with two other guys, am I right?” I looked at him curiously, he stood with his bag hung over one shoulder as he slouched to the side. Terrible posture I thought to myself, not sassy at all. He had the sides of his hair shaved and his nose and lip were both pierced. He looked pretty…cool… to me anyway.
“Eh, im not small” he replied loudly. Shit, me and my mouth. “ That probably was me though” he continued, “but I was just calling on you since you seemed lost, well…everyone else is in class”.
I looked around, he was right. It was just me and him standing in an empty hallway now. “Ah shit, that’s me late for my first class already” I growled. I kicked my foot along the ground in annoyance.
“What are you meant to be at?” The boy asked me burying his hands into his pockets.
“Art, but I have no clue where it is or how to get there.” I complained.
“That’s where I should be ! I only took it to get out of maths, numbers and me don't really get on well!” he laughed. “Want me to take you?” he smiled.
“Sure I guess, so what’s your name?” I asked as we began to walk.
“Oh god sorry, im Frank Iero!” he brightly told me. “Whats your name then?” he asked, still smiling.
“Gerard, Gerard Way” I prepared myself to hear him start laughing, but he didn’t. I looked up at him. "I don't really like it". I told him.
"Why not? Its cool! Mind if I shorten it?" He asked.
"Well, actually my brother always calls me Gee anyways so.."
"...Gee? Haha, thats cute." He interupted.
Cute? Was he gay. There wasn't anything wrong with that I just hadn't thought of it at first. He didn't really give off the impression that he was.
"Right, art is just over there, I need to warn you though, Gee. There's some pretty fit girls in there that might distract you!" he said with a sly wink.
Maybe he wasn't gay. "Yeah, I doubt that, girls and me aren't on the same planet never mind wavelength" I sighed as I tilted my head to the floor. It was true, i'd never had a girlfriend ever and I had just gave up trying. I wasn't good enough for anyone and I just had to deal with that.
"Well...from one straight guy to another..I think you're..alright..looking" he laughed trying to cheer me up. Ah, definitely not gay then.
I looked up and smiled at him. "Thanks, Frank." We had only just met but he was a nice guy. I think...I think I might just have made a friend.
"Right, our class awaits us!" Stated Frank as he made his way into class, I quickly followed behind.
"Frank Iero, I see you have decided to show up for class" A woman sat tapping her pencil against the front desk glared at him. Her eyes then glanced over towards me. She had thick wavy brown hair that draped over her shoulders, she looked quite young for a teacher, infact she looked quite...hot. Brilliant, the class I want to do well in and I have a hot teacher.
"Ah, you must be Gerard Way?, I was told we would have a new student attending our class. So why did you take art?" She asked smiling as she stood up. She had a nice body, she had a slim waist and her hips rounded out and..
"Gee...why did you take art??" Frank nudged me trying to gain my attention. Ah shit..did she notice I was checking her out. Frank gave me a look then smiled. The whole class was staring at me now waiting for an answer.
"Well.. I enjoy it. I've always considered being a comic book artist" I said, trying to ignore the sniggers from somebody at the back of the class. Jerk.
"Well Gerard, that's good that you have your future thought out, and this class will most definitely help you achieve that." She then drew her eyes to the back of the class trying to find the source of the sniggering, but they had stopped now of course. "There is a a large desk at the front that you two boys can share" She said as she brought her attention back towards us. Great, now I really will be distracted. I sat myself down and Frank did so too.
"Dude, you were totally checking her out." Frank whispered as the teacher sat herself back down at her desk.
"What? Shut up, no I wasn't. She's a teacher..ew." I said trying to sound convincing.
"Gee, It's cool. It's not like she isn't hot" he chuckled back.
He had got that right anyway. Frank had then drawn his attention to a table of two girls sitting near us. They both seen him and fllicked their hair over their shoulders and rolled their eyes. Looked like I wasn't the only one who had problems with girls, I laughed to myself then stopped as I received a soft punch from frank who had noticed.
"Franklin Iero, enough of that" The teacher said with a stern voice. Frank began to blush. I just smiled. Yeah, I think i had made a friend afterall.
