The Art Teacher

Chapter Six; Will You Be Mine Tonight?

Gerard's Point of View

I kept a not-so-steady hand on my drink as I sat at the bar that night, watching the front doors in case Beck showed up. He had agreed to coming here for a drink, but as of right now it seemed like he was going to be a no show. I'd become so infatuated with him in that small amount of time that the thought of rejection right now just made my heart sink into my stomach. When a young teenager walked through the double doors my eyes grew wide, Frank sure as hell shouldn't be here especially if he has a girlfriend. But as soon as I'd thought that I'd noticed that there was a calm, pleased look on his face rather than the slightly scared and troubled expression he held in my class the entire time he was sat next to Jamia.

I went to tip my drink back, but stopped when only a small drop fell onto my tongue, and turned back to the bartender to order another shot of whiskey. I was already pretty buzzed, but at this point I didn't really care since my date had blown me off.

"Can I get shot of Jack Daniel's?" I heard Frank's voice ask a couple of bar stools over, making my blood run cold. Ever since the first day of class I've had a crush on Frank, but of course I can't act upon those feelings, but after looking over at him I started having second thoughts. He looked completely different compared to when he was in school. He had his hair styled into a fauxhauk, a thin layer of glitter sparkling across his face in the lighting of the bar, a red cropped top on his torso, multiple glow-stick wristbands up his arms, and a pair of black jeans hanging low on his hips. He looked absolutely delicious.

"Sure, here ya' go Frankie boy," the bartender spoke in a flirtatious voice as he handed my student the drink with a smile. I watched closely, jealousy running through my veins as Frank gave the bartender a wink before turning around in his seat and drinking from the shot glass.

My heart started to sink in my chest after Frank had finished his drink, leaving his money on the bar top, and setting out on a lanky blond that was dancing by himself in the large crowd of men.

I clenched my teeth and flared my nostrils when Frank stood in front of the boy and started dancing seductively, his hips swinging in such a way that I had to cross my legs to prevent anything from popping up. I frowned to myself when the other male wrapped an arm around Frank's waist, his hand quickly going to Frank's ass and groping him with a smirk. My hands tightened into fists when Frank's mouth made an 'o' shape after their hips ground together in time with the music. I could barely handle this, and after their lips molded together I stood up from my bar stool quickly, my eyes focused on them as I made my way through the crowd.

I knew that what I was about to do was reckless, but my judgment was definitely impaired by the alcohol in my system, and as I reached the pair I didn't really give a fuck. I stood behind Frank, towering over him as I glared daggers at the tall blond just as he opened his eyes, causing him to take his hand out of Frank's back pocket and detach their lips before he scurried off. I gave a small, quiet chuckle before I put my hands on Frank's hips and guided them back into my own, my face burying into his neck as my hair hid my face and my heart thumping in my chest harshly. I felt Frank tense up before a hand ran through my hair, keeping it away from my face before he gasped loudly.

"Mr. Way what are you doing here? More importantly why are you holding me like this?" he asked with worry laced through his voice. I kept my hands firmly in place before I looked at him, a small smile on my lips before I leaned forward and kissed him deeply.

Frank’s Point of View

My heart was pounding hard inside of my chest, feeling like it was going to burst as Mr. Way kissed me. I really couldn’t comprehend what was going on I mean one minute I’m kissing this really hot blond and the next Mr. Way’s all over me. I didn’t really know what to do besides stand a little stiff. I know that I have a crush on the man but I can’t just start things because of that.

“Hold on, stop, stop,” I say as I push him away and look up at him with furrowed eyebrows as I feel my lips start to tingle from the loss of contact. I quickly grab him by the arm and drag him outside of the bar so that I can at least hear my own thoughts.

“Look, I’m sorry Frankie but I can’t hold back anymore, I need you,” Gerard said as he pushed a hand through my hair and tried to kiss me again, but I stopped him with a harsh hand on his chest.

“No Mr. Way, we can’t no matter how much both of us want to, I have Jamia and you have Mr. whatever the hell his name is,” I said as I felt my breathing start to accelerate. I didn’t ever think that I would have to have a conversation like this with my teacher.

“You and I both know that you don’t want to be with Jamia, you’re just doing it so you don’t get bullied and as far as Mr. Graziella goes I could really care less since he blew me off tonight. Please Frankie just… just tell me you’ll at least think about it?” he asked with a desperate look in his gorgeous hazel eyes that made me feel absolutely guilty.

“Alright fine, I’ll think about it, but I’m not promising that anything’s gonna’ happen Mr. Way,” I said exasperatedly before I was pulled into a hug that was way beyond better than any I’ve ever received.

“Okay I understand, I’m just glad that you’re open to thinking about it,” Mr. Way spoke as he pulled back and kissed my cheek so tenderly.

I gave him a small smile before returning the sweet gesture and then telling him goodbye until tomorrow.

I’d barely gotten any sleep the previous night due to all of the thoughts that had buzzed through my mind. I’d made my decision, though. I knew it was risky, but then again I’m sure Mr. Way knew that as well so if we were to just be careful about it all then maybe we could be in a decent, well-rounded relationship. I just hated the fact that I’d have to wait until the end of the school day to tell him so. Although, I could probably tell him to meet me somewhere for lunch and then I wouldn’t be nearly as anxious as I am now.

A coy grin pulled at the corners of my lips as I quickly wrote down a place on a note and then ran off to his classroom before the first bell rang. I popped my head in, smiling to myself when I noticed that he wasn’t there and I eagerly put the note in a drawer in his desk before heading to my first period class.
