Until I lived my life

Frank’s POV
I was sat in this office with Gerard and this fancy lawyer, along with my ex wife fighting over you has the rights to the girls.
“You choose the drugs and alcohol over your children.” Zara spat as she glared between me and Gerard.
“That is something I now regret and I wish I could turn back time and see them. But if I also remember correctly you would not let me anywhere near the kids so what did you want me to do.” I said and Zara scoffed and I looked at her pocket and saw something hanging out of the pocket and I quickly pulled it out of her pocket.
“She’s using.” I said as I put the needle on the desk.
“Fucking bullshit Frank.” Zara spat and I looked at her.
“Bullshit? I know a fucking drug needle when I see one and this is one of them. You kicked me out for using drugs around the kids and you are using around them.” I said loudly and Gerard put his hand on top of mine to calm me down.
“My client has been clean from drugs and alcohol for 3 years, he’s in a stable job and in a stable home. His oldest child has also started to live with him now.” The lawyer said and the man beside the desk looked at me.
“I have 2 kids of my own and I can honestly tell you that Frank is amazing with them, their both at that difficult age as well and they love Frank like he is another parent to them, to be honest I think they listen to him more than me.” Gerard said and the man nodded writing this down.
“I know I’m going to have to work hard to get my kids trust back and everything but I’m willing to do anything to have my kids back.” I said and I could feel Zara glaring.
“He’s unfit to have my children, that relationship he has is just disgusting and I refuse to have my children growing up in that disgusting environment. So you can return Mason back to his foster family.” Zara said and I rolled my eyes.
“Mason refuses to go back to his foster family, the stuff he has told me about them I’m refusing to take him back there. As for my relationship with Gerard that has nothing to do with you, as long as me and him can give the kids a stable loving home then that is all what matters. As for disgusting, what you are doing around my children is disgusting, at least when I was in drugs I had the decency to take myself away.” I spat at her.
“She is a danger to my children, I don’t even know what happens in that house, my children could be in danger and I won’t know anything. For all I know she could be hurting my children or her husband could be hurting my children.” I said and the man nodded as he wrote this down.
“Given the evidence I have been given and from I can see in front of me, I believe the children in questioning will be better off in their fathers care.” The man said and I looked at Gerard and smiled which I returned as I hugged him.
We stood up and walked out the office and that’s when Zara came over and slapped me hard round the face.
“You fucking bastard.” Zara shouted at me and she walked off and I looked at Gerard and he frowned at me and he pulled my hand away and looked at it.
“I’m okay, it’s just a slap, nothing I can’t take care off.” I said quietly and Gerard smiled as he kissed my cheek and we went home.
When we got home it was strange walking into the house and having 5 kids in the house and I looked at Gerard and he chuckled.
“This will be interesting.” Gerard said as he walked to the sitting room and I walked to the kitchen.
“Dad?” Someone said and I looked and saw Em and Fin standing by the island.
“My god haven’t you two grown.” I said as I walked over to them and pulled them into a hug which they returned.
I pulled back and I looked at them and Mason came in and stood behind them and put his arms over their shoulder.
“I know I have failed all 3 of you when you was younger but I promise you that I will never let you guys down again.” I said and Mason nodded.
“So what are Gerard’s kids called? The girl just glared at us while the boy and Mase was playing on the Xbox.” Em said.
“Tallie can be like that so just ignore her and Ewan is a good lad.” I said and the girls nodded as Mase had that look in his eye that he was unsure.
“Hey guys why don’t you g and find something to watch with Tallie and Ewan, we’ll be there in a second.” Gerard said and they went off to the sitting room and I looked at Gerard.
“Why do I have this feeling that I’m going to fuck this up and fail them again.” I said quietly and Gerard moved and pulled me into a hug which I returned and Gerard kissed the top of my head.
“You’re not going to fail them, if anything you’ll do anything to make them proud to be the dad I know you can be.” Gerard said quietly and I looked at him and smiled.
“Let’s see if the kids have killed each other yet.” Gerard said and it made me chuckle and we went to the sitting room and watched a film.

“Get your dirty little paws off my stuff.” Tallie said loudly and it happened to wake me and Geraed up.
“Fucking kids, thought teenagers was meant to be easy.” Gerard said quietly as he rolled over and cuddled into my back.
I was going to say something when the bedroom door open.
“We seriously need a bigger house and one with more than just one bathroom!” Tallie said dramatically.
“Do you mind we’re sleeping here.” Gerard said and Tallie sighed loudly.
“I don’t fucking care right now, I need a shower and they are hogging the bathroom.” Tallie said and Gerard sighed as he sat up and lent against me.
“Well you need to learn to get up earlier, because at the moment moving is not on my mind.” Gerard said and Tallie sighed again.
“Also you need to learn to share and knock on the door.” Gerard said as he lead back down and Tallie groaned loudly as she stormed out the room slamming the door behind her.
“Christ your daughter is so dramatic.” I mumbled and Gerard chuckled as we just listened to the kids arguing.
“Look I’m just saying, maybe Tallie is right, I mean I cannot be dealing with all 5 of them arguing every morning on a school day.” I said as we sat in his office as we was meant to talk about business.
“They need to learn to get on babe.” Gerard said as he frowned at some paperwork.
“Even so, I mean for Tallie and Ewan it’s a huge change as they are used to it being just them two and now you’ve got Mason, Emery and Finley to add to it all.” I said and Gerard sighed as he looked at me.
“I’ll think about it okay, but we’re not here to discuss the kids we are here to discuss about business.” Gerard said and I groaned loudly.
“You took the job promotion so suck it up butter cup and let’s talk business.” Gerard said and I just sighed and pretty much spent all day talking business.
When we got home, you could tell we had 5 teenagers in the house as the girls was arguing between them as Mase and Ewan was sat playing on the Xbox ignoring the girls.
“Yeah I don’t see the girls getting along until we sort this out.” I said quietly as I walked to the kitchen where the girls was bickering.
“That’s not the point, it’s not your mug so you don’t put you grubby little hands on my stuff.” Tallie said and I looked at her.
“Okay. I don’t give a shit what you lot are arguing about but it needs to stop now. Tallie you need to learn to share because at the moment Emery and Finley have nothing. If you want a shower in the morning before going to school then you need to learn to get up earlier. Emery and Finley you both need to respect Tallies things.” I said as I went outside for a cigarette and I was joined by Gerard.
“Christ why couldn’t they all be little again and this would be a hell of a lot easier.” I said and Gerard chuckled as he pulled me into his chest and he kissed the top of my head which made me smile.
“Because apparently we don’t do things the easy way.” Gerard said as he wrapped his arm around my neck and I put my hand over his.
“We will get through this. Think they all just need the work this out between themselves.” Gerard said quietly as he kissed my cheek and Mason came out and helped himself to a cigarette and started to smoke it.
“Mason Antonio Iero What the fuck are you doing?” I said and Mason looked at me.
“Oh shit, yeah I smoke.” Mason said casually and I just rolled my eyes.
“Whatever, you can do what you want as long as no drugs come into this house.” I said and Mason nodded.
“Sweet.” Mason said as he carried on smoking and Gerard chuckled softly behind me.
“Think we have a mini you on our hands.” Gerard said quietly.
“If that’s the case then god help us.” I said and we went inside and left Mason alone outside.

I was sat in the office looking at house because after a week with all the kids together I was fucking fed up with them arguing over the bedrooms and the bathroom.
“Why are you in here?” Gerard asked as he walk into the office and sat in the desk.
“Okay I know it’s been a week and everything but it turns out my kids are just as stubborn as yours.” I said and Gerard frowned at me.
“Babe we need a bigger house.” I said bluntly as I sat back in the chair and Gerard rolled his eyes at me.
“Hey you aren’t leaving me in this house for nearly a month with those 5 at each other’s throats. I’m not going putting myself through that bloody stress.” I said and Gerard moved and sat on my lap.
“I’ll think about it okay.” Gerard said quietly as he kissed me which I returned.
“There is a time and a place for this, the office isn’t one of them especially when the kids are home.” I said quietly against Gerard lips as I kissed him again.
Gerard chuckled against my lips as he stood up and walked over to the door and looked around as he shut the door and locked it behind him.
“Now the kids can’t disturb us.” Gerard said and a smirk found its way to my lips as I stood up and walked over to Gerard and pushed him against the door and kissed him hard.
“Okay so until the dumbass agrees to get a bigger house we all need to learn how to get on in this tiny house.” I said as all the kids sat round the island while Gerard was taking care of some business so I used this time to have a meeting with the kids.
“It would help if the little bitches didn’t want to us my stuff.” Tallie said and I glared at her and she knew it was a step close to the edge.
“Yeah well until dad takes us somewhere you’ll have to suck it up with us borrowing your things.” Finley said.
“It’s the girls who has the problem.” Ewan said and I just groaned quietly.
“Okay enough with the snide marks and the bitchy comments. Tallie wether you like it or not Emery and Finley and Mason are family now. Now I treat you and Ewan like you are my kids. Your father treats Mason, Emery and Finley like they are his. Now I can understand that it will take everyone a while to get used to each other. But fuck guys you are literally breaking mine and Gerard balls right now.” I said and everyone looked at each other.
“I know there is a personality clash with all of you, especially you girls, but I am just asking you to stop with the arguing everyday. I know that all of you being the same age doesn’t help matters but we are a family now. Yeah we might but a little messed up here and there but we have to be there for each other. If anything goes wrong then you have to have each other’s back. If anything bad happens or has happened then any of you can come to me and Gerard and we will do everything we can to help you.” I said and Tallie got up and hugged me which took me by surprise but I returned her hug.
“We’re sorry dad.” Emery said and I smiled at her.
“I am trying to get Gerard to come round to buying a bigger house. But until then we just have to share everything at the moment.” I said.
Everyone gathered that this meeting was finished and they went off.
I made myself a coffee and I went outside just to have some space from everyone.
I was having a shower in mine and Gerard’s room when I heard someone walk into the room and then someone joining me in the shower.
“Did you say something to the kids as for once they aren’t arguing and their all sat in the sitting room watching a film.” Gerard said as he kissed my shoulder.
“I just sat them down and had words with them. I had to Gee as they would carry on and I could of happily killed all 5 of them.” I said and Gerard chuckled.
“Well whatever you said, it has worked as it’s like they e grown up with each other down there.” Gerard said and I smiled as I moved round Gerard so he could have a shower.
“Was Everything okay at the clubs?” I asked and Gerard smiled.
“Yeah Everything is good. Don’t have to worry about it.” Gerard said and I nodded and I got out the shower and went to get changed into some shorts.
I was sat on the bed when Gerard walked through with the towel loosely round his hips which made me looked at him.
“So I’ve been thinking.” Gerard said as he dried himself off before putting some shorts on and lead down on the bed next to me and he started to trace his fingers over my tattoos.
“What might that be?” I asked quietly as I watched his fingers.
“Maybe we do need a bigger house, I mean you are right we can’t be living on top of each other and maybe it’ll help Tallie chill out a little as she has Emery and Finley in her room. I know Ewan and Mason are happy sharing but guys are different to girls.” Gerard said and I looked at him and smiled but Gerard picked up something was wrong.
“What’s the matter Baby?” Gerard asked softly which made me look down.
“I’m just worried that when your away that I’m not going to be able to cope with the kids and something is going to happen.” I said quietly and Gerard moved so he was now sat on me and he kissed me which I returned.
“You are going to be amazing, not many people can cope with Tallie but you are doing a amazing job and I couldn’t be with a better person to help me with the kids.” Gerard said as he kissed me again.
“I can trust you with the kids, I have never been able to trust anyone with them before because fuck knows what those two can do. But I know that with you they respect you and trust you. I hope that your kids will be like that towards me.” Gerard said and I smiled at him.
“Let’s go and watch a film with the kids.” Gerard said and I nodded as I sat up with Gerard still on my lap and I kissed him.
“I love you.” I whispered and Gerard smiled and kissed be back.
“I love you too baby.” Gerard said softly and pecked my lips as he got off my and picked up my jumper and put it on and walked out the room and I smiled to myself as I got off the bed and went downstairs.
I went to the kitchen for food as I never ate anything for dinner when I heard someone walk out and I turned round and saw Finley.
“Hey sweetie, everything okay?” I said and Finley nodded as she walked over and stood next to me and she was looking at my tattoos.
“You have so many.” Finley said quietly and I chuckled as I looked at her.
“Each one has a reason to be on my body.” I said and Finley smiled.
“Do you have any of me, Em and Mase?” Finley asked and I nodded as I turned round and pointed to my chest and Fin frowned slightly which made me chuckled.
“Look a bit closer and you’ll see.” I said softly and Finley looked and smiled.
“M.A.I, E.B.I, F.E.I.” Finley said quietly.
“I’ve got your names tattooed on me when you was born.” I said and I turned my wrist round and showed Fin the Roman numerals on my wrist.
“I also have your birthdays.” I said and Finley moved and hugged me which I returned and I kissed the side of her head.
“I’m so sorry I wasn’t around Fin.” I said quietly.
“It doesn’t matter, your here now.” Fin sniffed and I pulled back and looked at her.
“Don’t cry.” I whispered as I wiped the tears away.
“Zara always painted you as this horrible person.” Fin said and I chuckled.
“Of course she did.” I said sarcastically.
“She has another kid, our half brother Shay.” Fin said and I looked down.
“I can’t do nothing about Shay as he isn’t mine Fin.” I said and Fin nodded.
“I know, we never liked him anyway.” Fin said and I chuckled.
“If your mother ever said I never loved you guys then it wasn’t true, you guys kept me going when I was out on the streets.” I said and Fin smiled and I kissed the top of her head.
“We know.” Fin whispered and I smiled.
“Go join the others I’ll be there in a second.” I said and Fin nodded as she turned round and walked off and I grabbed my food and joined everyone.
I smiled to myself as I felt like I had a shot of doing something right.
