Frank’s POV
“So you have anything nice planned for yours and dads 6 month anniversary?” Ewan asked as he sat round the island with Tallie since Gerard was away for 2 weeks.
“I don’t know, I mean yeah I know I’m now getting paid more since I’m pretty much managing one of the other clubs but I’m fucking clueless on where to take him.” I said and Tallie looked and Ewan.
“I was also thinking about going away with him on our year anniversary so that’s that out the window.” I said and Tallie shrugged her shoulders.
“Dad have this cabin up in the woods somewhere, all of us literally spend all of the summer up there and it’s like the shit.” Tallie said and I just raised my eyebrow at her because I was still getting used to the finer things in life.
“I’ll think about it.” I said as I walked out the kitchen and went upstairs to get dressed since I was meeting someone.
I was just putting my jeans on when someone walked in the room and as I spun round they made me jump.
“Jesus Ewan. Don’t fucking sneak up on me like that!” I said as I looked for my t-shirt to put on.
“You’re not cheating on dad are you?” Ewan asked and I looked at him.
“No buddy, your father is the best that has ever happened to me. I meeting someone to see if I could see my kids.” I said and Ewan didn’t seem convinced.
“I didn’t know you have kids.” Ewan said and I chuckled as I got my wallet out and showed Ewan the picture.
“I have 3. Mason will be about 15 now. Emery and Finley are both 13.” I said and Ewan looked at me with a frown.
“Hey if you really want to know as well I was married to a woman.” I said and Ewan continued to frown at me.
“Look Ewan I know you are worried that I’m going to be a horrible person and that I’m just using your dad for his money but that isn’t the case, I love your dad to bits and I would rather go running to him than to any man on the streets.” I said and Ewan smiled slightly.
“Mason goes to my school, he also hangs around with the people I hang around with, he’s a good friend of mine. I think things are pretty bad at home.” Ewan said and I looked at him.
“And my girls?” I asked and Ewan shrugged his shoulders.
“I don’t know Frank I really don’t. I mean there is another set of twins at school and they are girls who are identical.” Ewan said and I smiled.
“That’s Em and Fin.” I said and Ewan nodded.
“I’ll see what me and Tallie can do so you can see them.” Ewan said and I nodded.
“I’ve got to go, be good the pair of you.” I said as I walked out the room and went to where I was meeting this person.
“Okay so how long have you been sober for?” The woman asked.
“It’s been like 3 years now. But I don’t really know as I don’t really like to think about it that much.” I said and the woman nodded.
“How long has it been since you have seen your kids?” The woman asked.
“11 years. I am nothing like the man that I was 11 years ago. I am in a stable relationship with my partner and his kids have accept me into their lives and they think of me as another parent, like how I think of them as my kids.” I said and the woman nodded.
“How long have you been with your partner for?” The woman asked and I frowned at her slightly.
“6 months today.” I said and the woman pulled a face.
“Why you pulling that face?” I asked because I was confused.
“You need to think of you need to be with your partner a bit longer than that.” The woman said and I frowned at her.
“Look all I wanted to know if I could get back into contact and maybe have my kids.” I said and the woman sighed.
“My partners boy said that my boy hangs around with him and he said that my boy is having a bad time at home. Now if my boy is having a bad time at home then so are my girls. I just want to see my kids and make sure they are okay.” I said and the woman sighed.
“I’ll have a look into it and everything but I can’t promise nothing and considering it’s been 11 years since you’ve seen your kids it could be a challenge.” The woman said.
“My partner children are challenging as well and I am always up for a challenge.” I said and the woman smiled.
“Well I will what I can do for you.” The woman said and I smiled as I looked at my phone and saw that Gerard had phoned me.
“I’ve got to go. Please help me and let me have contact with them.” I said and the woman nodded and I walked off and phoned Geraed up.
“Hey babe.” I said happily and I could hear Gerard smile.
“Hey baby.” Gerard said and I smiled.
“So because my children are a couple of shit bags and can’t possible be good for 2 weeks while I’m away.” Gerard said and I chuckled.
“So what have the buggers done now?” I asked as I headed towards the school.
“I need to ask you a massive favour.” Gerard said and I chuckled again.
“Does that involve me walking to the school and discussing what the shit bags have been and done?” I asked.
“Yeah it does, look I’m sorry about this baby.” Geraed said and I smiled.
“It’s fine, hey I got something to talk to you about but I phone you later as I’m at the school.” I said.
“Yeah I’ve got to go as well, love you.” Gerard said quietly.
“Love you too.” I said quietly as I walked into the reception.
“Hey, so my partners kids are in trouble and since he’s away at the moment so their in my care.” I said and the woman looked up and frowned at me.
“Your partners name?” The woman asked.
“Gerard Way, think you should know who his kids are.” I said and the woman nodded as she looked at her computer.
“Mr Way did say he was away and if the kids got into trouble then we should contact you.” The woman said and she looked at me.
“Finished staring at me and tell me where my partners kids are?” I asked and the woman nodded.
“Go and sit down and the head will be through.” The woman said and I nodded and sat on the comfy seats they had and just waited.
About 10 minutes later the head showed up and I stood up and walked over to him.
“Frank Iero, I’m Gerard’s partner.” I said as I offered him my hand and he just looked at me like I was shit on his shoe.
“So are we going to talk about my step kids or are you just going to give me the glare?” I said seriously and we went to his office where Tallie and Ewan was both sat in the chair and I just glared at them and they knew they was in the wrong.
“So what have they been up to then?” I asked as I sat down.
“Tallulah got caught smoking and then decided to argue with the teacher and punch another student.” The head said and I just looked at her.
“Seriously?” I asked as Tallie shrugged her shoulders.
“The bitch had it coming.” Tallie said and I just rolled my eyes.
“And him?” I asked.
“Ewan decided to hit someone with his lacrosse stick.” The head said and I looked at Ewan who looked more sorry than Tallie.
“He was in the way when I was messing with my lacrosse stick and the teacher thought I hit him when I didn’t.” Ewan said and I looked at the head and he looked like he couldn’t give a shit.
“Okay, I understand Tallie doing what she did because I think we can both agree she’s a bitch like that.” I said and Tallie went to say something.
“Zip it you.” I said to her seriously.
“Ewan wouldn’t hurt someone on purpose, that person was in the wrong place at the wrong time.” I said and the head nodded.
“Okay Ewan you are suspended until the end of the week, Tallulah is suspended until the end of next week.” The head and I sighed loudly as I looked at Tallie.
“Thank you.” I said as I stood up and Ewan and Tallie followed me.
“I can’t fucking believe you Tallie.” I said as we walked up the corridor to get out of this place.
“What, not as if your dad or anything.” Tallie said.
“Damn someone is in a grump today.” I said and Tallie glared at me.
A kid passed us and he stopped and looked at me.
“Mason?” I asked and the boy frowned at me.
“Yeah, I’m Mason.” Mason said confused.
“What’s your last name?” I asked.
“Used to be my mums but I have nothing to do with her so I have my dads surname which is Iero.” Mason said and Ewan looked at me.
“Franks surname is Iero as well.” Ewan said and Mason smiled which took me by surprise a little.
“Please get me out of my foster home and you need to get Em and Fin away from mum.” Mason said and I nodded.
“I’m working on it okay. I’m going to talk to this lot and my partner and we’ll get you out okay.” I said and Mason nodded and we walked off.
“Little Frank is quite cute.” Tallie said as she walked into the kitchen where I was busy sorting something out for Gerard at one of the clubs.
“He’s too young for you.” I said and Tallie looked at me.
“Okay, so ha e you even mentioned to dad you have kids and that you are planning on taking away from their mum.” Tallie said and I rolled my eyes.
“Your dad knows I have kids, as for wanting to take them away I haven’t spoken to him about that yet.” I said and Tallie nodded.
“Well I hope you get them, I mean we’re not even your kids but you treat us like yours and we think of you as a dad anyway.” Tallie said and it made me smile.
“Thanks Tallie.” I said and she got up and started to make us all a drink.
“When is dad home?” Tallie asked and I chuckled.
“Am I doing that shit of a job?” I asked and Tallie smiled.
“Nope, just miss seeing the sass master.” Tallie said and I chuckled.
“Well you have taken his spot for the last 2 weeks but he’s back tomorrow evening I think.” I said and Tallie smirked at me.
“Do you want me and Ewan to go out for the evening so you and dad can get it on.” Tallie said and I just rolled my eyes at her.
“You don’t have to go out, just put your headphones on or whatever.” I said and Tallie just pulled a face as Ewan walked into the room still looking guilty and upset about what happened today.
“Cheer up bro it’s not like it’s the end of the world.” Tallie said sarcastically and I looked at her and she sighed and walked out the room.
“Aright buddy?” I asked and Ewan nodded as he sat next to me.
“So Mason is a good friend of mine and I’m really worried about him at the moment.” Ewan said as he looked at me.
“What’s been going on with him?” I asked and Ewan looked down.
“So his mum pretty much kicked him out a last year before you came so he stayed here for a while but he left like a day before you came. He in a foster home and he said they aren’t nice to him and the other kids just nasty all over.” Ewan said and I nodded as I thought about something.
“What about Em and Fin?” I asked and Ewan shrugged his shoulders.
“Mason is worried about them, I mean he said his mum is on drugs and would rather have her drugs than have the twins at home.” Ewan said and I looked down as this brought a lot of bad memories back.
“Tell Mase that I’m going to fucking work my ass off to get him and the girls here with us and we can be a family. But I need to ask your dad first, I don’t exactly want to bring them here and him not accepting them or whatever.” I said and Ewan smiled.
“Dad always said he wanted a house full of kids, I admit he probably didn’t mean 5 teenagers under one roof but dad always said with the right person he’s willing to do anything for them and I’m sure your the same towards dad.” Ewan said and I smiled as I nodded because I would do anything for Gerard.

“Maybe I should go away more often if that’s the welcome home I’m going to get.” Gerard said as he moved and sat on me and pulled the covers over himself Incase the kids walked in but I think they gathered what me and Gerard was doing.
“No, don’t leave me with them for so long please.” I said and Gerard chuckled as he lent down and kissed me which I returned.
“Minus them being kicked off of school, has everything been okay?” Gerard asked and I nodded.
“Yeah, but the bed was too big without you.” I said and Gerard smiled as I rolled us over so I was hovering above him.
“Don’t think my hand has had that much action for a while either.” I said and Gerard laughed as he pulled my head down and kissed me again and I pulled back and started to work down Gerard body.
“You know, there is a such word of self control.” Tallie said as we sat outside enjoying the evening sun.
Like normal me and Ewan had our tops off, Tallie just had a crop top on and Gerard was wearing a T-shirt.
“Don’t know what your talking about.” I said as I sat back on the garden sofa Gerard had in the garden.
“Mate those moans, I hunk everyone bloody heard them.” Tallie said and I looked at Gerard and he just rolled his eyes.
“Well I did tell you to wear headphones.” I said and Tallie just scoffed as she rolled her eyes at us.
“I’m going out.” Ewan said which made both me and Gerard frown at him.
“If Mason needs to come over can he come over?” Ewan asked and Gerard nodded.
“Yeah he can come over.” Gerard said and I looked at Ewan who nodded at me.
“Tallie come with.” Ewan said and Tallie sighed loudly as she got up and they went out and I moved so I could look at Gerard.
“I need to talk to you about something.” I said quietly and Gerard moved so he could look at me better.
“So you know I have 3 kids.” I said and Gerard nodded.
“You have a boy and twin girls.” Gerard said and I smiled as I nodded as I looked down.
“Mason is my boy.” I said quietly and Gerard looked at me and put his hand on my knee which made me look at him.
“I know he’s had it rough especially with his mum and his current foster family.” Gerard said and I nodded as I linked my hand with his.
“You can say no if you want to.” I whispered as I looked down.
“My girls are still with their mother and I’m hoping Mason will tell me what is happening later if he comes here, but I don’t want them anywhere near her. I know I’m a fine one to talk and all that but I have my shit together now.” I rambled and Gerard chuckled as he lent forward and kissed me to shut me up which worked.
“Are you asking me if the kids can stay here if you push enough to get them?” Gerard asked and I nodded which made Gerard smile.
“Of course they can. Yeah it’ll be hard work and everything with 5 teenagers but I’m up for the challenge if your beside me.” Geraed said and I nodded as I smiled.
“If this happens then we will need a bigger place as I don’t see Tallie wanting to share her room and I’m sure everyone would want their own room.” Gerard said and I nodded as I smiled.
“Well we will have to see what happens.” Gerard said as he kissed my forehead.
It got cold after a while so me and Gerard moved to the sitting room and looked for a film and when we found one we was just about to put it on when the kids came back bringing a extra person with them.
“Hey dad, hey Frank. So we picked up this dude up.” Ewan said and Mason moved and stood between Tallie and Ewan.
“Hey Mason.” Gerard said and Mason smiled as he looked at me.
“Please can I stay here dad.” Mason said and I stood up and walked over to him and pulled him into a big hug which Mason returned and I looked at Gerard and he nodded meaning Mason was allowed to stay.
“Mase, do you want to come with me and sort the air bed and everything out or do you want to stay down here?” Ewan asked and Mason moved and looked at Ewan.
“Can I talk to you, I have so many questions.” Mason said and I smiled as I nodded.
“Sure buddy.” I said and looked at Gerard.
“We’ll watch this another time.” Gerard said and I nodded as I walked over to him and I kissed the top of his head and I went over to Mason and we walked over to the island and sat round it.
“Why did you leave us?” Mason asked and I looked down hoping me or Mason would at least build up to it.
“I left because your mother kicked me out because I was on drugs and I had a really bad drinking problem.” I said and Mason nodded as I looked at him.
“Why didn’t you come and find us or try and get clean or whatever?” Mason asked.
“Mase I was of my face all the time, I did things I am not proud off. I thought you guys was better off without me in the picture, you had your mother’s partner to replace me and I guess yeah I gave up.” I said and Mason looked down.
“Did you ever think about us?” Mason asked quietly and I made him look at me.
“I thought about you and the girls all the time. I got clean ages ago because I wanted to see you guys again.” I said and Mason sighed quietly.
“Then Why didn’t you take us away?” Mason asked.
“Because I couldn’t hold a job down, I was on the streets Mase and that’s where I stayed from when your mother kicked me out to when Gerard took me in. I couldn’t risk you and the girls being on the streets with me. But I am promising you now that I will do everything I can to make sure you, Em and Fin are here with us and we can be a family like how it should be.” I said and Mason smiled as he nodded.
“So what made you get kicked out your mothers?” I asked and Mason chuckled.
“I got in a fight with Billy and Zara didn’t like it so she told me to get out and she never wanted to see me again and I haven’t been back.” Mason said and I nodded.
“How long ago was that?” I asked.
“About a year ago now, Ewan said that Gerard would let me stay here, but I couldn’t do that.” Mason said as he looked down.
“Your foster family?” I asked.
“Fucking hate them and the hate me too. Please don’t send me back there dad, I promise I’ll be good but don’t send me back.” Mason said and I stood up and I hugged him and I kissed the top of his head.
“You’re not going anywhere now buddy.” I said quietly and Mason nodded.
“Are you going to get Em and Fin away from mum?” Mason asked and I nodded.
“Yeah, I’m going to try and get Em and Fin as well.” I said and Mason smiled at me.
“Go and find Ewan.” I said quietly and Mason nodded and he walked off and went upstairs and I sighed quietly as I felt a hand on my shoulder which made me look up and I saw Gerard who smiled at me.
“We’ll get them okay.” Gerard said quietly as he kissed my cheek which made me smile as Gerard wrapped his arms over my shoulders.
“Didn’t think that Zara would turn like this.” I whispered and Gerard sighed and kissed my cheek again.
“Well she has and now it’s your time to shine and make up for the 11 years you haven’t seen them for.” Gerard said quietly and I nodded as I sighed quietly.
“Don’t over think this okay, you can cope with Ewan and Tallie and you can cope with your gang. We’ll be a family.” Gerard said quietly and I turned round and looked at him and Gerard smiled at me as he lent down and kissed me.
“You’ve got this okay.” Gerard whispered as he stood up and walked away and I just watched him as I smiled and followed him to the sitting room where everyone just watched a film.
