"Hello, Mr Way" She said politely whilst shaking his hand. He was shitting bricks and although i was as well his face was hilarious. At least i acted like i was confident.

"Helena." She said turning towards me with her hand outstretched. I smiled but didn't shake her hand.

"Sorry i don't shake hands, don't like illness so i don't touch hands" Gerard chuckled beside me, least i was calming him down a little. "Fist pump?" i said instead, not wanting to completely reject the poor women.

She fist pumped my hand rather awkwardly.

"Right well, this way um?"

"Call me Leila" She said smiling slightly making wrinkles appear by her eyes. She wasn't old maybe late 30's?

"Right Leila" Gerard continued "Come through to the kitchen and we'll talk" He said whilst walking through to the kitchen with Lia trailing behind her. Yeah i gave her a nickname.

"Would you like a drink? Coffee, Tea, water?" She nodded

"Water would be lovely thank you Mr Way"

"And coffee" i piped in whilst just entering the room.

"Call me Gerard" he said handing her a glass of water.

"Wheres my coffee?" I asked pouting. Lia just looked curiously.

"In the pot" Gerard replied smirking

"Damn you Gee" I said smiling.

Lia then cleared her throat "So it's obvious you two get along but i have to ask a few questions.

We both stopped what we was doing and nodded, sitting down.

"So Gerard, you work at Helena's school, correct?"

And it carried on like that for another half an hour.

"Helena?" i heard

"hmm yeah?" i said just coming out of my daydream about zombies eating shoes instead of people

"Could i ask you a few questions alone? Maybe see your bedroom?" I grinned

"Of course Lia" She looked confused

"Oh i named you Lia cause everyone needs a nickname" I said explaining, she just nodded her head.

We both stood up and i smiled at Gee who nervously smiled back. Then led the way to my bedroom.

She closed the door when we got in their and sat on the bed while she chose the chair by my desk so we were facing each other.

"I'm going to get straight to the point. Do you feel safe with Gerard?"

I looked at her weirdly "Of course i do, he has helped me so much with all that is going on in my life. Him and Mikey were like my 'rock' and still are."

"Okay, and how did you come to know Mr Way?"

"Well he is my form tutor and teacher, but he is also Mikey's brother and i'm really close with Mikey so i know Gerard from constantly being here anyway" I stated, knowing that's the story to stick to.

"Okay, and do you like living here?"

"Of course i do, i'm a pretty straight forward person and so would tell if i didn't. But i'd defiantly rather be here then with some family i don't know. I like it here i'm with my best friend"

"Alright, well i think i'm almost done here. I will just have to talk with Mikey. Would be care to get him for me whilst i go to the kitchen?"

"No problemo Lia" She smiled and walked out. I released a breath i didn't realize i was holding and went to get Mikes.

MIKEY'S POV

Knock knock.

"Yeah" i said getting up from playing on my bass.

"It's me Helly, can i come in?" She said sounding nervous. How could i be mad at her? She's just too cute. She didn't forget me she just got wrapped up in her new life.

"Of course Hell" She peeped through the door and walked in.

"Haven't seen you in a while" She looked down.

"I know but i don't mind just don't let it happen again" i mock warned her.

She smiled and gave me a hug. "The social worker wants to see you. You know the story right?"

"Yeah but tell me again?" She huffed playfully.

"you're my bestie" she grinned "Of course, and i was practically living here anyway and you're over the moon i'm here cause you have an ice cream buddy."

I laughed "okay Hels, lets goooo" I said dragging to go.

We walked through to the kitchen and i saw Gerard who i was still mad at. Now him i can stay mad at.

"Hello you must me Mikey, i'm Leila" She held out her hand and i shook it.

"Yeah i'm Mikey, you wanted to talk to me?" i stated as a question even though i new the answer.

"yes, um lets go somewhere else, living room?"

"Sure" i nodded and took her to the living room. Sitting down on the couch and she in the armchair.

"So Mikey. You're best friends with Helena correct?" I nodded

"What if you to had a fight and wasn't talking?"

"Well that probably wouldn't happen because she's like a sister to me and i can't stay mad at her. But if it did happen - and she'd have to do something really bad - well i'd probably just stay out her way."

"So you wouldn't make her life here er uncomfortable?"

I shook my head. "i couldn't not after what she has been through, i'd just stay out of her way. But that's if we fight, i love her to pieces so i'm certain it wouldn't happen"

She seemed satisfied with this answer.

"How do you feel about her living here? About Gerard having another person to take care of? I understand it might be a bit frustrating because you wont spend as much time with him no?"

I laughed "I'm overjoyed, he was so annoying because he had no one else to annoy. He'd just want to play video games or have a jam session all the time, so now Helena has taken some of that off" I joked.

"Joking aside though, i really don't mind. And i can see what your on about, me resenting Hel because of it. I could never, if i was gonna be mad at anyone it'd be him not her so you don't need to worry" I assured her.

"Okay well thank you Mikey" She said standing up and walking back to the kitchen. I just followed her.

As soon as we entered i sat next to Helena and grinned at her and she smiled back.

"Well Mr Way, thank you for your time. I don't see anything to worry about, i will file my official report and you'll hear from me in a couple of days"

Gerard just smiled and showed her out and Helena looked kind of dumbstruck. I gave her a questioning look and she noticed.

"I actually have somewhere to call home" She grinned. I grinned straight back.

"Welcome home Helly" Gerard came in dancing, and although i'm mad at him, i'm happy for her. So I laughed.

Then she shouted "I'M STAYING BITCHES"
