Frank’s POV

“Tell you something I cannot wait to get home and sleep in a normal bed and not on the ground.” Jase said and that made me chuckle as I focused my gun to this target.
“You just can’t wait to go out, get drunk and fuck some bird.” I said quietly as I focused on the target.
“Even if that was remotely true I wouldn’t even admit it.” Jase said and I fired my gun which landed in the bullseye.
“Still got it.” I said as I waited for Jase.
I looked at Jase who had finally shut up and was now focused on his target and he fired his gun and I looked and he wasn’t quite a bullseyes.
“You need to work on your aim.” I said as I sorted my gun out and got ready to move on to what we hoped would be the finish.
“My aim is great thanks. Just having a off day.” Jase said and I looked at him.
“You can never ha e a off day okay. We are the people who get sent out to kill the people nobody can find. Your aim could be off and that person can run and that mission will be a complete failure and a waste of our time and resources. So you can never have a off day. Do you understand me.” I said seriously pulling rank on Jase and he nodded.
“Yes sir I understand.” Jase said and I nodded.
“Sort your gun out we need to move.” I said as I looked around while Jase sorted is gun out.
“Done.” Jase said and we walked off and went towards where we needed to be.

We met up with everyone and George was walking with me while everyone was walking ahead.
“How did he get on?” George asked and I looked at Jase who was still bouncing with energy after 3 weeks of walking and hard training.
“Yeah he getting on alright, his aim not quite there yet but it’s close. Think he needs a bit more training on the range to get it better. But the kid has a good thing going for him and he’s settled into the group well and I’ve even got his core name.” I said and George looked at me.
“Go on. It has to be a good one Iero, if not I could just cry.” George said and I chuckled as George can be a drama queen which is why is core name is Queenie.
“Me and the lads was messing around the other day and we might of made him shit himself so he screamed like a little girl so he can now be known as slag.” I said as I looked at George and he was thinking about it.
“Oi slag!” George said loudly and Jase turned round knowing I told George the story.
“Yeah there we that’s his name sorted.” George said and I chuckled.
I walked over to the group.
“You are fucking dead Iero.” Jase said and I chuckled.
“And then you can talk to my boyfriend on why you killed me, and he would probably kill you so I don’t think so sunshine.” I said and Ollie chuckled and I walked beside him and I felt him look at my hand.
“That’s a new tattoo.” Ollie said and I lifted my hand up and smiled at the small G on my finger.
“Got to have a bit of him with me. I mean he has my clothes and my house.” I said and Ollie chuckled.
“Jealous much, your house is lush. But you know we have rules about tattoos though.” Ollie said and I shrugged my shoulders.
“The G could mean anything, anyway I’ve been in the whole kidnap situation and as long as you don’t break and your team has your back nothing will happen to you and depending on how unique your tattoos are they can’t really identify you. Well the lot that had couldn’t but that was because they was some dumb fucks.” I said and Ollie chuckled slightly.
“It was still dangerous though Frank.” Ollie said and I just rolled my eyes.
“Like to live life dangerously hence why I do this job.” I said and Ollie chuckled.
We got to the cars when George turned round and looked at us.
“Right we have 2 weeks to read this before me leave.” George said as he handed us these documents.
“How long will we be gone for?” Ollie asked as it was coming up to one of his kids birthdays and I knew it broke his heart a little when he wasn’t there.
“It will be for a year.” George said carefully.
“A year? What the fuck.” Jase said and we all looked at him.
“Read the file and you will understand.” George said and we all moved out and went home.

I got home and walked through the door where music welcomed me and I could hear Gerard singing somewhere around the house.
I shut the door quietly behind me and walked through the house and I found Gerard in the kitchen making something to eat in his pants.
“Hey babe.” I said which made Gerard jump and spin round to look at me.
“Frankie.” Gerard said happily as he ran over and jumped on me and I just about caught him and I held him tightly.
“I’ve missed you.” I said quietly as I set Gerard down on the ground.
“I’ve missed you too, you hungry? I’m just about to dish up some food but I can always make more if you want more.” Gerard said happily and I smiled.
“I’ll get myself something after I’ve put my clothes in the wash and had a shower.” I said and Gerard looked at me and nodded as he walked back over and kissed me hard which I returned.
“I’ll do the washing you can have a relaxing shower.” Gerard said as he held his hand out for my bag.
“You don’t want to carry my bag, it’s bloody heavy.” I said and Gerard chuckled.
“I’m a strong man, I’m sure I can cope.” Gerard said and I raised my eyebrow at him and handed him my bag which made him grunt loudly as he dragged the bag across the room which made me chuckle.
“Now that proves to me you are a little weakling.” I said and Gerard rolled his eyes at me which made me chuckle.
“Okay I will admit to that. But I don’t do crazy shit like you do for a living. Anyway you need to go and have a shower because I have something to tell you.” Gerard said happily which made me smile and I went to have a shower.

After I had a shower I went to join Gerard and had dinner with him and we moved from the kitchen to the sitting room where we was watching a film and cuddling.
“So what was it you wanted to tell me.” I said and Gerard sat up and sat on me.
“I got a job.” Gerard said and I smiled at him.
“Well done babe, what is this job then?” I said and Gerard smiled.
“It’s at this art studio across town. They didn’t want to hire me because I have no qualifications but I managed to get the job while they train me.” Gerard said happily but I could see he was holding something back.
“What you holding back?” I asked and Gerard frowned at me.
“Sorry, training sort of kicked in a little about reading people.” I said and Gerard chuckled slightly as he looked down and messed with my top.
“My boss sort of creeps me out a little, he called me cute and pretty much said you was lucky to have me.” Gerard said and I felt my blood boil a little.
“Want me to have words? Can happily have words and put him in his place.” I said and Gerard looked at me and smiled as he lent forward and kissed me.
“I’m sure I can fight my own battles.” Gerard said quietly which made me smile slightly and the thought of being away for a year was slowly getting me worried about Gerard.
“When you going back again?” Gerard asked sadly.
“I go back in 2 weeks.”I said and Gerard sighed.
“How long for?” Gerard whispered.
“A year.” I said quietly and Gerard nodded and got off me.
“Babe.” I said after him but Gerard shut the bedroom door on me and I sighed loudly as I stood up and went to my office and read this document I was given.

I don’t know how long I was reading this document for but I looked up and saw Gerard leaning against the door frame.
“Is that where you’re going to be for the year?” Gerard asked quietly and I nodded.
“Yes, but unlike last time I’ll be able to phone you.” I said and Gerard smiled.
“I guess I’m not allowed to know anything.” Gerard said and I shook my head.
“Sorry babe, I can’t tell you.” I said and Gerard nodded as he walked into the room and I put the papers down making sure Gerard couldn’t read them.
I pushed myself back on the chair and Gerard walked over and sat on my lap facing me and I put my hands on his hips.
“If I could tell you then I would. You know I would tell you.” I said and Gerard nodded.
“I trust you.” Gerard whispered and I smiled and Gerard kissed me which I returned.
“I trust you too.” I said quietly and Gerard smiled at me.
“Now I don’t trust your boss.” I said and Gerard rolled his eyes at me.
“He is harmless, I know when to pick fights when I have too.” Gerard said and I nodded but still wanting words with his boss.
“Don’t think about him. It’s mine time with you.” Gerard pouted which made me chuckle as I ran my hands up and down Gerard’s sides.
“Go and find us another film to watch while I put this all away.” I said as Gerard looked behind me and looked at my gun.
“Didn’t know you had a gun.” Gerard said as he looked back at me.
“I work in the army, what part of me not having a gun makes sense to you.” I said and Gerard smiled at me as he turned back round and picked it up and I took it away from him.
“Not a toy. But if you ever need it it will be in my top draw.” I said and Gerard nodded.
“Now go and find a film to watch and I’ll be right there.” I said and Gerard got off me and I slapped his ass which made Gerard look at me and smirked as he walked out the room.
I sighed and looked at this paperwork and I was already dreading it.
“Not going to think about that.” I said quietly to myself as I put it in a locked drawer and I went to join Gerard on the sofa.

“So my slut of a best friend is up the duff.” Gerard said and I looked st him since I was lead on him.
“You two are talking now?” I asked since Gerard hasn’t really said much since I got back which was worrying.
“Yeah she came and kept me company while you was away.” Gerard said and I smiled as I lent down and kissed him which Gerard returned.
“I’m glad you two are now talking again.” I said and Gerard smiled.
“So am I.” Gerard whispered as he put his focus on the tv.
“Baby, what’s the matter.” I said and Gerard looked at me.
“I’m just worried about you being away for so long, I’m worried about starting this job with my creepy manager and I’m worried about Johanna.” Gerard said and I sat up and sat on his hips.
“Don’t worry, I always look after myself out there. The offer is always on the table to have words with this creep. Johanna is a strong independent woman who takes no shit from nobody, she will be okay and I will be okay. You need to look after yourself now.” I said and Gerard smiled at me as he reached up and pulled my head down and kissed me which I returned.
The kiss got more heated and I pulled back and looked at Gerard.
“Don’t give me that look and just fuck me please.” Gerard said and I chuckled.
“Well I can do that my lady.” I said and Gerard slapped my chest.
“I have a dick as well. Therefore I’m no lady.” Gerard said which made me chuckle as I undone his jeans button and undone his fly.
“I like your dick very much.” I said as I got his dick out of his pants and I started to suck his dick which made Gerard moan loudly.

I woke up and rolled over in bed and looked at Gerard who was sound asleep which made me smile and I gently moved some hair from his eyes which made Gerard sighed loudly as he got comfy again and was back to being in his deep sleep.
I looked at the time and saw it was 7 in the morning and I quietly got out of bed and had a quick shower and I got dressed and quickly checked Gerard and he was still asleep so I wrote him a note to say I had gone for a run and I placed the note on my pillow and I kissed the side of Gerard’s head gently and I went to the kitchen and turned the coffee machine on for when I got home or when Gerard wakes up and I grabbed my iPod and went for my run.

I looked at the time and saw it was 9 in the morning which took my by surprised and I looked up to my surroundings where I found myself in the area where Gerard had got his new job and I looked around and saw the studio where he was working and I walked over to it and went inside.
“Hello sir, can I help you?” A woman asked.
“I’m looking for your boss. I believe he gave my partner a job here last week.” I said and the woman nodded and she walked off and came back with this man.
“I believe you want to speak to me.” The man said.
“Yeah, you keep your comments and your eyes off my partner.” I said seriously.
“Oh you must be Gerard’s partner.” The man said and I nodded.
“Yeah I am. You don’t want to mess with me so you leave my partner alone and I’ll leave you alone.” I said as I turned round.
“Gerard is very lucky to have you.” The man said and I turned back round and looked at him.
“I know he’s lucky to have me and I’m lucky to have him. So you stay away from him.” I said and the man just nodded.
“Might stay away, might not stay away. You’re not always going to be here to protect him.” The man said and I walked over to him and put him to the ground and put my foot on his chest.
“You fucking stay away from my boyfriend. You don’t want to mess with me sunshine. I’m somebody you don’t want to mess with.” I said seriously and I walked out the building and jogged back home.

I walked in the room and Gerard was just walking out the bedroom with his hair all over the place and he was sorting his pants out.
“Where have you been?” Gerard yawned and I smiled at him.
“I went for a run.” I said as I put my iPod on the counter along with my phone and I headed towards the coffee machine and got myself and Gerard a coffee.
“What time did you leave?” Gerard asked as he shuffled forwards and cuddled into my back which made me smile but at the same wondered how Gerard could put up with the smell as I didn’t smell that nice.
“About 7 this morning, I just lost track of time I’m sorry babe.” I said and Gerard kissed my cheek as he moved away from me and got his coffee and lent against the side and looked at me as I took my top off and threw my top by the washing machine.
“You look hot standing and looking like that.” I said and Gerard looked down with a small blush on his cheeks.
“I would say the same but the sweat marks under your arms look and smell fucking nasty.” Gerard said and I laughed a little.
“Let me have my coffee and I’ll go and have a shower.” I said and Gerard looked at me which made me frown a little.
“Are you going to be joining?” I asked as I step forwards and pull him towards me.
“Of course.” Gerard said as he kissed me and he walked off towards the bathroom and I watched him and I smiled as I followed him to the bathroom.

Gerard was cleaning the house while I was sat in the office reading this document.
“This is going to be a long year.” I said to myself as I looked up and saw Gerard dancing to this song while he was cleaning and it made me chuckle quietly to myself as I smiled and shook my head.
I got up from behind my desk and walked out of the office and I walked through the sitting room which was spotless and into the kitchen which again was spotless which made me frown and I walked through to our room where Gerard was cleaning our room and was making the bed up again.
“Damn maybe I should of got you to be my cleaner instead of my one night stand.” I said which made Gerard jump as he looked at me with a smile.
“But you’re glad I was your one night stand because now you’re with me.” Gerard said and I couldn’t help but smile as I shook my head.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.” I said with a smile which Gerard returned and a idea came to my head.
“Would you like to meet my family?” I asked Gerard frowned at me.
“It’s been nearly 10 months since we’ve dating and you haven’t met the family and I haven’t seen them for a while either and it’s my Nonna birthday this weekend and my family is having a big party for her.” I said and Gerard nodded.
“Yeah I would like to meet your family.” Gerard said and I burst out into a huge smile and walked over to him and kissed him which Gerard returned.
“They will love you.” I said quietly and Gerard smiled at me and kissed me again.
“I’ll go and let them know what’s going on.” I said and Gerard nodded as he went back to cleaning.

I walked into my office and picked my phone up and called my mum.
“Frankie! I though you was away with work.” Mum said happily down the phone.
“No mamma, but I go away in 2 weeks.” I said and mum sighed a little.
“But listen mamma, I’m going to be here for Nonna birthday and I have someone I would like to introduce to everyone.” I said and I could hear mums smile.
“You’ve found someone? Frankie that is amazing, Stef Frankie has found someone.” Mum said happily to my step dad who was pretty much a dad to me anyway
“When we going to met him?” Mum asked excitedly down the phone.
“I was hoping he’ll come to Nonna birthday party this weekend.” I said and mum just squealed happily down the phone.
“But what about the army? Surely this person won’t hang around and wait for you.” Mum said and I sighed as I walked out of my office and lent against the wall and watched Gerard and smiled to myself.
“He’s different mamma, he’ll wait for me.” I said as I walked over to Gerard and hugged him from behind.
“You said that about the last one and you came home with him in your bed with another fella.” Mum spat and I chuckled.
“Mamma don’t worry about me okay, this one is different than all the others. He understands and I know he’ll be here for me when I need him.” I said as Gerard turned round and looked at me with a smile which I returned.
“He better be looking after you.” Mum said seriously.
“He looks after me mamma, he’s a dream come true.” I said and Gerard smiled at me which I returned and Gerard kissed my cheek and he walked off and I turned round and watched him walk off.
“Have you finally settled down with someone that’s something to celebrate.” Mum said which made me chuckle.
“Yeah I’ve finally settled down mamma, I found my prince in shining armour.” I said and mum awed down the phone.
“I’m sure he feels the same. Anyway I need to go as Stefan is waiting for me. Ti amo sweetie.” Mum said and I smiled.
“Ti amo anch'io mamma.” I said and smiled as mum hung up and I turned round and saw Gerard smiling at me.
“Surely I’m the wrong person to be the prince in shining armour, I’m pretty sure that’s you.” Gerard said and I smiled as I walked over to him and pulled him close to me and kissed him which Gerard returned.

“Nope, you’re my prince in shining armour.” I said and Gerard smiled as he kissed me again.
