Gerard’s POV

Johanna had to go back home which left me on my own and I was finishing some art work off so I could go and have this interview this afternoon which involved me bringing some art work in for me to show the people who was interviewing me.
I was looking through the wardrobe and I couldn’t find my suit.
“Fuck sake Frank.” I said to myself and I walked over to the draws and found my black jeans and went back over to wardrobe and found a shirt and a blazer.
Turned out the shirt was Frank’s and was too small for me but I didn’t have time to find one of my shirts to change into so I quickly found my best shoes and threw the on and got my art work and went to the other side of town.

“So Mr Way, why should we hire you? Because you have no grades at all and no college degrees behind you.” The man who interviewed me said.
“I think you should look at my art work and judge by my art rather than looking down your nose at me because I never finished school.” I said and the man frowned at me.
“It says all you’ve done is waitressing, what makes you think you’ll fit in the studio?” The man asked.
“I have people skills, I can make a good coffee if anyone wants coffee and I also think my style of art would benefit you more than me, but that might just sound a bit cocky of me.” I said and the man nodded.
“Let’s see your art work then.” The man said and I pulled out my art file and handed it to him.
“There’s some bits in there which need finishing but most are completed.” I said and the man nodded as he looked through it and I looked and my knee started to bounce since I was beginning to feel really anxious now.
“You’ve got talent. I would offer you the job but I’m afraid you lack the qualifications for this job.” The man said and I looked down.
“So because I had to drop out of school because of a difficult situation and the fact I can’t afford to go to college which is why I need this job so I can go college. I need to support myself while my partner is away.” I said and the man looked at me.
“Okay, I will offer you a apprenticeship. That way you will learn as well as getting paid and I don’t want to get you go to be honest. Not may people can draw like you.” The man said and I smiled at him.
“So I got the job?” I asked.
“You got the job and you will be learning on the job.” The man said and I looked at him shocked.
“Seriously? Oh my days. Thank you so much.” I said as I stood up and the man did the same.
“You start in 3 weeks.” The man said.
“Can I sat 4 please, my partner comes back in 3 weeks.” I said and the man raised his eyebrows at me.
“Explain to me.” The man said.
“My partner is in the army, he’s away at the moment and he’s back in 3 weeks and then he’ll probably be deployed by the end of the month.” I said and the man frowned at me.
“You’re gay?” He asked and I nodded.
“Yeah I’m gay. Does that bother you that I’m gay?” I said.
“Doesn’t bother me in the slightest. You can start in 4 weeks, but that’s only because I find you cute.” The man said and I just nodded.
“Okay, so what time do you want me to start?” I asked.
“Monday, 9 o’clock in 4 weeks time.” The man said and I nodded.
“See you in 4 weeks.” I qvsaid as I got my art work and I walked out the door and I went home.

“So you got a job?” Johanna asked as she kept me company for a couple of hours.
“Yeah, it’s really strange though, I mean the boss stares at me all the time and he finds me cute.” I said and Johanna chuckled.
“Who wouldn’t find you cute, I mean your baby face literally wins everyone over. I mean before I knew you was gay, I had a crush on you.” Johanna said and I looked at her shocked.
“You had a crush on me?” I asked and Johanna rolled her eyes at me.
“Yeah dumbass, I mean you have a tight ass on you and they look great in those jeans I mean no wonder why you boss was staring at it.” Johanna said and I rolled my eyes at her.
“Christ don’t let frank hear about this otherwise I think he would shoot him.” I said and Johanna chuckled.
“That boyfriend of yours has also got a fine ass on him. He like got a 6 pack under those tops he wears?” Johanna said and I chuckled.
“That ass is mine and I’m not spilling wether he has a 6 pack or not because I get the joys of seeing under that clothing and bitch stop dribbling over my boyfriend, that’s my job.” I said with a smirk.
“Also I get to fuck that ass as well.” I said and Johanna rolled her eyes at me.
“You are disgusting.” Johanna said.
“Me disgusting, I’m too innocent for that shit.” I said and Johanna laughed loudly.
“Bitch please, you probably suck Frankie dearest dick dry.” Johanna said and looked at me and I just smirked at her.
“Christ I hope you wash you mouth out afterwards.” Johanna said.
“You think I’m a spitter? Bitch I thought you knew me, you don’t waste what’s in your mouth especially after you work for it.” I said and Johanna rolled her eyes at me.
“I swear to god you working in that club literally ruined every bit of innocence of you.” Johanna said and I shrugged my shoulders.
“I don’t hear Frank complaining. In fact he moans very loudly about my talented mouth.” I said and Johanna slapped my leg.
“I’m not hear to talk about your sex life thanks.” Johanna said and I shrugged my shoulders at her.
“I’m going to go, are you going to be okay on your own?” Johanna asked and I smiled as I nodded.
“Yeah I’ll be fine.” I said quietly and Johanna smiled as she stood up.
“You going to be okay to walk home?” I asked and Johanna smiled as she nodded.
“I’m going to be fine. Don’t worry, I’ll even let you know when I get home.” Johanna said and I nodded.
“You better.” I said and Johanna smiled as I stood up and gave her a hug which the baby kicked and it felt strange.
“That thing just kicked me.” I said and Johanna chuckled.

“Welcome to my world.” Johanna said as she walked towards the front door and saw herself out the house and I was left alone in the silent house which I didn’t like so I went to Franks office and started to draw until Johanna called me.
