Odd encounters

Here we are. Finally going to tell them what I am and that they can trust me. I know that they won't take it easily.

"Please don't go all hunter on me here guys." I beg them. It's already going to be hard enough to say. They look at me with wide eyes then look at Gerard who laughs.

"I know about hunting and the supernatural. Don't worry about me. Seen more supernatural beings than you can count." He says with a laugh.

"Okay. So, um this isn't going to be easy to say. Um, I've been keeping a secret since I was lIke what? Six? Anyways. It's kind of a big deal. So, when I was sick I had a life threatening illness that did not end well. My mom had a favour she could cash in with someone. She got them to basically reincarnate me and get me to gain these powers. Along with those powers came a disease. One that both the person who saved me and I got, fight. Guys, I'm kind of a vampire." I say quietly. They grab their knives, except Gerard.

"Big bro, protect yourself. If he is a vamp he might attack." Mikey says. Both boys are staring at me except Gerard. As I was talking he started levitating and now he's hanging off the ceiling. He chuckles.

"Nah. I'm good. Frank fights evil vampires like me and you guys. Not all vampires are evil. I trained him in fighting. I also trained mom and Dad. Meaning I trained you Mikey. For hunters, you guys aren't the best at seeing who's a vampire or not. You've known Frank for how long?" He says. His eyes change and his fangs flick out. This causes my eyes to go and my fangs to slide out too. Mikey and Ray ready their weapons.

"Go ahead and slice at me. It won't work." I tell them. They both lunge at me. Gerard walks on the ceiling. They are cutting at my skin but not a mark's being made. "See?" I ask. They both grab my hair and rip my head back. Gerard sighs and walks on the ceiling and walks right infront of his brother. Staring at him.

"He works with hunters." Gerard says as both Mikey and Ray scatter backwards. They are both trying to scream. Gerard rolls his eyes. "Don't try screaming. Nothing can scream around me. Mom and Dad know. Call to them. See what they have to say." He says as he swiftly lands on the ground and walks towards me. He looks me over for scratches. "Getting stronger already." He tells me and gives a small and soft kiss to my forehead. "You guys are safe if you hang with Frank and I." He tells them.

"Mom! Dad! Help! Vampires!" Mikey calls out. Their parents come flying down the stairs. Gerard unlock the door for them and let's them in. He walks back to me and stands behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. His mom and Dad look from us to Ray and Mikey who have their weapons drawn. Their parents laugh. "Why are you laughing they are vampires!" Mikey says to them.

"Don't you think we know that? Gerard's been part vampire since birth. Born with it. He saved Frank when Frank died. Gerard has probably killed the most vampires on earth. I mean he's the strongest hunter out there." His Dad says. I smile. Gerard's not acting like he did at the coffee shop. He's acting like he used to.

"I mean Mikey watch this." His mom says and grabs out her dagger. She puts it to her wrist and creates a long cut. Gerard kisses my cheek softly and walks up to her. Mikey and Ray stare at him. He frowns at his mother and brings her wrist to his mouth. He licks her wrist. The blood and the cut is gone.

"I get you are trying to prove a point mom but please don't cut yourself." He tells her softly and hugs her. Mikey and Ray keep staring at both of us and watch our every move. I go and sit beside them, both Gerard and I still in vampire form.

"Look guys." I say and pull out my silver dagger. "Silver won't hurt Gerard or I. We can't be killed. If we were evil you guys would probably be dead by now. Be sceptical as much as you want but we've both been vampires for years and look, we hunt vampires not humans." I say to them and put my dagger away. Don and Donna smile at us as Gerard disappeares and appears behind me. "What's with you and liking being behind me?" I ask him without looking at him. He chuckles and pulls me backwards into his lap.

"It's easy to hug you this way." He says and wraps his arms around me again. I smile to myself. I do like being in his arms. I feel a small kiss at the back of my neck and it sends shivers down my spine. I feel him smile against my neck. Mikey and Ray are back to just talking to each other.

"You must really like hugging me then." I say. I giggle and so does he. He flips me around in his lap and we're staring at each other.

"You don't know how much." He says and rests his head against mine. I see him smile.

"Oh just kiss already!" I hear Mikey yell at us. I blush but Gerard laughs. He keeps one hand on my waist and moves the other up to my face. He brushes the hair out of my face and smiles at me.

"What do you say?" He asks. He's asking for my permission. He's sweet. He could just kiss me like every other asshole but he asks if I'm okay with it. I put my arms around his neck and smile.

"Sure." I say. He leans in and his chapped lips kiss me softly. I smile into the kiss and follow along with it. Nothing gets too heated. It's just a simple kiss and nothing more but it feels nice and right. We both pull back. "Thank you for asking my permission. Nobody has done that for me before." I tell him quietly.

"I know. I'm going to treat you properly. Don't worry about anything. I'll always ask if you're alright with what I do. I'm not going to push anything on you and I won't force you to do anything you don't want to. There is one thing that we have to do though. We have to talk to the other bands." He tells me softly.

"Thank you. Do the other bands know about vampires and stuff?" I aks him. He nods.

"All those bands are hunters just like us. They'll be out hunting in an hour. We should tell them though." He tells me. I nod and curl up in his lap.
