Hidden in the dark

Frank's POV:

"So fro. What do ya like? Music, video games, girls, guys?" I ask and Gee comes to sit beside us. It's the end of the school day but Ray's mom is running a bit late.

"I like rock and metal music. I play guitar. I love video games. I'm straight. I was bullied at my last school so I moved here." He tells us and looks at us to see if he can find any anger or hatred in our eyes but he doesn't find any. He releases a breath.

"Have you looked at Frank's shirts? He obviously likes rock and metal and so do I. It's the best kind of music. Frank plays too, I sing. We will protect you Ray. I mean people have seen you with Frank, they will be too scared to touch you now. There aren't many good kids around this school anyways. They aren't angels but they aren't good. I know good when I see it. I'm sceptical at first but I did see good in you. Sorry about how I sound in class too by the way. Like I said I'm scared of teens." Gee says and I start poking at him. He glares at me then starts poking me too. Ray giggles a bit.

"Wow, you two are like kids." Ray says then gets a buzz on his phone. He looks up at us and smiles. "My moms here. See you guys later. Thanks you two!" He says and leaves. Ray seems like a nice kid.

"What are we gonna do Gee? Should we tell him about Gerard? He needs to be protected. If he knows me there is a chance my dad will go after him." I say and Gee walks up to me and smiles gently.

"Let's head home Frank. I'll get Gerard to visit him. He'll come see you too. He's your boyfriend Frankie. I'll get him to talk to Ray for a bit." He says. I nod and we go to his car again. He brings me back to his and we sit and watch some movies. Horror obviously. We laugh at how bad they are. We both go to our designated rooms and I strip and fall into sleep.

The heat hasn't changed but I'm used to it. It's quite calming actually. I see my beautiful boyfriend standing infront of me. "Hey baby. I talked to Ray for ya. How's my beautiful?" He asks and kisses me gently. I hum into the kiss.

"Good Gerard. I wish I knew who you are, then I could kiss you when we aren't in the dream realm." I say and his pale hands hold mine with his long nails gently trailing my skin.

"Tomorrow. You've seen all the signs. You're a genius Frankie baby but you're a real idiot sometimes. Ray seemed to figure it out pretty damn quick. I've been right under your nose this whole time. All you have to do is look down. Well, not exactly. You look up to see me. You are kind of short darling. But I accidentally let things slide. You just choose to ignore them. I'm assuming there is going to be a lot of yelling. Not from me but from you. I know you won't be scared but you might be mad. Please don't be mad sweetheart. You know I'm not a girl but I might be someone you hate or someone older. Just please don't be mad." He says and I kiss him. His wings wrap around me as he continues holding my hands and kissing me softly.

"I won't be mad babe. I just want to be with you. I promise I won't yell. Just I want to finally meet the man who I'm dating." I say to him and nuzzle into his chest. He rubs patterns on my hands and keeps our fingers interlocked.

"I will tell you at around 11 am tomorrow okay? You will see me. Second period English right? You'll know then. I promise baby." He says to me softly. We walk over to a nearby patch of trees. He sits at the base of one and I sit on his lap. I rest my head on his chest.

"Hello king. May I go to the human world. I feel an unrest with an angel. Not a major one." Says a tall lady. She has black eyes, tones of tattoos, leather clothes, small wings and small fangs. She has a tail that comes to a point. She smiles at me and I smile back. Gerard kisses my head.

"Hello Lyn. You know you can call me Gerard. You don't have to ask me either. I may be king but I am not going to order you around. You can come and go as you please. If you make a mess of the human world though you know that can turn you into an angel." He says to her and she nods.

"Thank you Gerard. I'm not used to this though. You know I just came down here from the angels. I didn't know that they were that terrible. I'd never hurt a human. I promise. I'll go. Have a nice day you two." The Lyn girl says. They all seem to think of Gerard as a friend. How did she recognize him so quickly though. Wait. Wings probably. He kisses me softly.

"Jeez look at the time. You need to be up Frankie. You and Gee could be late." He says and I awake.
