Hidden in the dark

Frank's POV:

"Frank Iero to the office. Frank Iero to the office. Thank you." The intercom said. Hmmm, I wonder why?

"What did you do this time Frank?" Gee asks me. I roll my eyes and laugh.

"Nothing Gee. I'll be right back. Probably a new student that I have to aid. I've offered to help some of the new students coming in. Apparently they've heard about you and the devils chair too. I can't wait to see their reaction!" I say and stand up. We both let out a small laugh.

"See ya Frank. Good luck. Art is next!" He says as I leave the door. I let out a small chuckle.

I exit the basement and the kids in the hall part when they see me. Feels good. I get to the office and walk in. Even some of the teachers fear me because of that desk. Honestly though, I'm probably one of the softest and most gentle people you'll meet here.

"Frank, hello. We would like to ask if you could give a new student help? His name is Raymond Toro. He's in all of your classes." The lady at the front desk says. She always talks with a shake when I'm around. I know I scare her. I give her a genuine smile.

"I'd love to. Where is he? I've got art with Mr. Way next." I say and she gulps. She points to a seat where a tall fluffy haired kid sits. I walk up to him. "Hey, you must be the new kid. I'll be helping you out for the first few days. Come on, we don't want to be late to Mr. Way's art." I say cheerily. He gulps.

"H-hey, I'm Ray. T-thanks. I-I've heard Mr. Way is the scariest teacher here. Like he hides in the basement. Is that true? I've also been told to avoid the kid who sits in the devils chair." He says with a gulp. I smile.

"Come on Ray! Mr. Way is the scariest teacher. He does hide in the basement. Kid in the devils chair is pretty scary too. They can't do anything though." I say with a giggle and hop to the basement. The kids part in the hall and I giggle. Ray keeps his head down. "Hey Mr. Way! This is the new kid. Ray Toro. I'm going to show him around the class okay?" I ask with a smile. Gee gives me a small smile back.

"Go ahead Frank. If ya need me just call. Hello Ray." Gee says but growls slightly when he talks to Ray. I giggle. Ray gulps and tenses up

"Thanks Mr. Way!" I say and he rolls his eyes with me and let's out a small chuckle. "Okay Ray, this is your art supplies, your math supplies, your English supplies and your musical instruments. This is your desks and this is the devils chair. You're gonna sit beside me okay?" I ask with a smile on my face.

"Thanks Frank. Where do you sit?" He asks. A creepy smirk appears on my face and I sit in the devils chair. His eyes widen and he gulps.

"Have a seat Ray! Trust me. You don't have to be scared of me or Mr. Way." I say and Gee walks up behind me. I stick my tongue out at him and he does the same.

"Angel or Devil Frank?" Gee asks me. I point to my desk and wait until he gets the hint. He nods at me and gives a small smile at Ray. "Good. So Ray, Frank seems to like you. So I guess you can be trusted." Gee says and Ray is slightly shaky.

"Gee, whys he shaking?" I ask. Ray just looks at me with slight fear. I smile at him and Gee rests his arms on my shoulders.

"Probably just in shock. He's with the two 'scariest' people on earth. We just look scary. The only reason I'm called scary is cuz I'm scared of teenagers. I put up a front." Gee says and we both smile.

"W-what?" Ray says while shaking. Gee and I give a light giggle.

"Ray, we aren't scary. I'm probably like the biggest small teddy bear you will ever meet and Gee is like a vegetarian vampire." He may look scary but he's harmless. He's actually saved me a few times from someone I'd rather not talk about. We don't want to hurt anyone. Him and his brother save people. I swear we'd never hurt you." I tell him and Gee messes up my hair.

"As long as you aren't an angel which I can tell you aren't. There are two almost two gangs in this town. The angels and the devils. The angels are evil and one tried killing Frank who is what the gangs call a human. I saved him. I'm with the devils. We represent what is good and we protect the town. Please trust us. I can protect you guys from the angels." He says and walks up to Ray. He gives him a soft smile and extends his hand for a handshake.

Ray tentatively takes the handshake. "I hope you two aren't lying." Ray says a little more calmly. Gee and I smile. I know Gee had to lie a bit but it's for his safety. Gee and I both nod and the bell rings. We both have our seats and Gee let's the kids in. Kids gasp and start gossiping when they see Ray talking to me.

"They are scared of me. They will part in the halls when you pass. Because you are my friend they will all instantly almost bow down to you. It's their fear of Mr. Way. I'm the only kid here that was never scared of him. Nobody talks to me. They all think I'm like a bully or psycho. I honestly just sat here one day and talked to Mr. Way. He talked to me and he's very goofy and friendly. He's always made sure I was safe and when he sees me get nervous he's always there to help. I can never thank him enough." I say and smile at Gee.

"Really? Why is their fear of Mr. Way so big? I was just scared of you two because I've heard you guys are like demons or something. Killing machines. The way you guys talk to me and each other says something completely different though. He seems very protective of you. Why do at times you call him Mr. Way and at other times you call him Gee?" He asks me and I giggle.

"Yeah, They are mortified of him. He figures that he has to scare the teenagers before they scare him. Well he is part of the devils and I kind of guess I am too. I'm dating a devil now so. Yeah. There is a reason he is protective of me that I can't tell you now but you might learn later on. I call him Mr. Way in class. His nickname is Gee. He's protected me so much. Not bullies but the angels. My dads one. That's who he saves me from. The angels are terrible. They've ripped this town apart." I say and and smile softly. I look up to see Gee with long sharp nails again. Is it just my brain toying with me? Must be. I mean the scratch marks are no longer there.

Class goes by like usual but now with a new friend.
