It all started with a Hello

Frank's POV:

Class was over and it was Wednesday morning. I had stayed with Gerard once again that night. Today was finally the day I was going to meet his band! He was excited, I was excited and we both were so happy. Finally the doorbell rang. "Come In!" Gerard yelled.

"Hey big bro! Wait... who is that with you." A tall bay with blond hair and a bass guitar walked in and asked. I'm guessing it's Gee's younger brother Mikey that he was talking to me about.

"Hey Mikey and Ray! This is Frank! He plays guitar and is my student teacher. He is really nice! You guys will come to love him but not too much because he is mine." He laughs and pulls me in for a hug.

"Nice to meet you Frank. I'm Mikey and this is Ray. I play bass guitar and ray plays guitar. We have been looking for another guitar player and a drummer for a while now. So you and my brother are a thing?" He asks smiling. He seems pretty nice. Ray just looked at me and smiled but he seems pretty quiet.

"Nice to meet you guys too. I love to play guitar and being in a band is one of my biggest dreams. Yes your brother and I are a thing. He is the nicest person I have ever met." I say while squeezing Gerard's hand as he kisses my forehead.

We sit on the couch for a little bit and talk. All of the sudden I doze off to sleep. I hear yelling and wake up. "Really Gerard? He is nice but he is HUMAN. Don't get me wrong I want you to be happy but you already have a hard enough time controlling yourself. He will be in danger!" I hear Mikey yell.

"Ever since I met him I have been able to control myself Mikes! I don't care that he is human. I don't care that I'm braking that law! He makes me happy and there is a future for us! He.." He says but Mikey interrupts him. He must have seen me look up from the couch and look at them. I think my eyes are a bit foggy because it looks like they are glowing.

"Gerard. Look behind you." Mikey says in a serious tone as he stares at me. Gerard turns around the glow coming from him is like smoke. He opens his eyes and looks at me. His eyes are as black as the night and it's not just the iris and pupille but his whole eye. I stagger backwards and hit the wall. My breathing speeding up.

"W-w-w-what are you?" I ask and feel tears streaming down my face. Gerard tries to walk closer to me. "N-no. D-d-don't h-hurt m-me p-p-please." I manage to sputter out. Gerard keeps walking towards me and sits down in front of me. I cower and he pulls me closer and hugs me. I suddenly feel more calm. His touch calms me. He lets go of me and sits in front of me.

"I'm sorry Frankie. I should have talked to you about this. I didn't know how to though. Frank, as you can probably already tell, Mikey and I aren't human. Neither is Ray. We are to put it lightly, dark magick vampires. Mikey and Ray are mates. Our mates are supposed to be others of our kind but when I saw you, I knew you were my mate. I'm sorry Frank. If you want to leave me I wouldn't blame you. I understand if you hate me for this but I really do believe that you are my mate." He says as his head drops to his knees. I move myself closer and hug him. I can feel that there are tears running from his eyes.

"No, I'm not leaving you. Don't be sorry. Is there any way to make it so that I won't be illegal for you? Gerard I want to be with you. From the moment I saw you I knew you were perfect. I love you too much to let you go. I want to stay with you. Like you said from the day we started dating. I am yours and you are mine." I say hugging him tighter. I see Mikey standing there in shock with tears running down his face. Ray walks beside him and notices whats going on and he tears up too. I smile a small smile at them.

"Really Frankie? Thank you so much. I love you too. There is one way but it would hurt you for about an hour. It turns you into one of us. If that's what you want I will do it but I don't want to see you in pain." He says quietly. I look back up to Mikey and Ray and they both nod and give a sad smile.

"Frank, we all really like you and Gerard loves you. We will all help you along with whatever decision you make just please remember that none of us want to hurt you." Ray and Mikey say.

"Thanks guys. Gee, you know I love you with all my heart, I don't care if it hurts. It's for the both of us, whatever it is, lets do it. I want to be with you, I want us to be happy. I want to be one of you so that everything is perfect." I say as I hold his hand and look into his eyes which have gone back to normal.

"Okay. I'm sorry if it hurts you babe. I have to drink some of your blood and then you have to drink some of mine. It won't be great and it will sicken you for an hour but once that is done you will need to feed. I have a few blood bags in my fridge. Just tell me when you are ready. I love you." He says kissing me.

I smile at him and squeeze his hand. "I'm ready whenever you are babe and I love you too." I say. I can tell he is getting ready because his eyes go black and I see his fangs come out.

"After I bite you I want you to bite my wrist and get blood from there. Okay? I am so sorry for the pain." he says. I nod and he moves hid head down to my neck and feels for my pulse. I feel his fangs slide into my neck. It's not extremely painful surprisingly. I feel him pull back and I grab his wrist and bite down until I feel his blood rush into my mouth. I drop his wrist and feel my stomach churn. It's not delightful but its not painful.

"I mean, I just feel a bit nauseous but I have no pain." That's when it hits me. I double over and groan. It feels like someone is trying to stab me from the inside out. I stay there for a while then I feel something slide through my gums. I slide my tongue over my teeth and feel two very sharp fangs. I am so hungry. I don't want food though. Now I know what Gerard was saying. I wanted blood. My head shoots up and Gerard hands me a blood bag in which I sink my teeth into. The warm substance fills me up and I finish with the bag. Blood now dripping down my chin.Gerard giggles a little.

"Feeling better now Frankie? You had a quick transformation. You got lucky. Only lasted twenty minutes. When you are around your mate you can control the hunger better. Your first feed is the hardest though, but that's over with. Ray and Mikey have known each other their entire lives that's why they can control themselves so easily. Ever since I met you I have been able to control myself. Thank you." He says pulling me into a hug.

"I'm feeling better. Thanks Gee. Is that why I'm not hungry anymore? When I got out of my transformation I got a really weird light and fluttery feeling when I looked at you. Is that the feeling you get when you look at your mate for the first time in vampire form?" I ask.

"Yep! It's good to know that I'm your mate too! There are some vampires that one is the mate of the other but the other person is not their mate, if that makes any sense. Anyways we should train you but we only need blood like once a week so when you get hungry we will train you then." He said. I saw everyone standing around and smiling. It feels like family, something I haven't felt in years.
