Gerard's POV

Spring was almost here and it felt nice to have the sunshine in my skin.
I was sat outside when I heard the door open and close.
"Guess this means I'll be kicked out of here soon." Frank said quietly as he sat next to me.
"I don't want you to go." I whispered and looked down.
"The weather is warmer and there will be more food than in the winter. I'll be fine out here by myself." Frank said and I looked at him.
"I don't want you to go because I really like you Frank." I said and I looked down.
"I really like you too Gee, but this is for the best. I belong out in the woods, being a wolf." Frank said.
"If your going promise you'll come and visit." I said and looked back at Frank who was looking at me with a smile on his face.
"I'll always come and visit you." Frank said and put his hand on my lap which made me smile.
"I also know you'll be watching out for me." Frank whispered in my ear and he kissed my cheek.
Frank got up and I looked him as I got up.
"Don't go, please don't go." I said as I felt some tears roll down my cheeks.
Frank walked over and wiped the tears away from my cheeks.
"Don't cry, okay you have no reason to cry. I'll be back when winter comes round again. I want you to look after yourself and no slipping back into your bad habits. I'll be close by keeping an eye on you." Frank said quietly and I moved my head more into his hand and sniffed it and kissed it gently.
Frank moved his hand and made me look at me.
Frank reached up and kissed me gently which I returned.
"I still have your back like you still have mine. I'll be back before you know it." Frank whispered and moved and he shifted and I just stood and watched him go into the woods.

It had been 6 months since Frank left and I spent most of my time sat outside waiting to see the black wolf which I knew was Frank.
It was coming into autum and if Frank said he was coming back then he should be coming home soon.

"Gee, he's not coming back." Mikey said softly as he sat next to me.
"He said he'd come back." I whispered.
"Gee, you need to think that he has found a pack that he belongs to now. It's been 6 months and something could of changed." Mikey said.
"Frank said he like being free and wouldn't go back to a pack." I said.
"Times have changed." Mikey just simply said.
"No. I know he's going to be coming back. I know he is." I said a little louder than before.
"Whatever you say Gee. But you need to eat and have blood. You haven't had either for a while now." Mikey said sounding concerned.
"I'm fine." I whispered.
"No your not, you have lost weight and you look like death Gerard. You don't feed soon then you won't see Frank because you'll be dead. You hear me Gerard you'll be dead." Mikey said and grabbed my face and made me look at him.
"I'm not losing you again Gerard. Please, if you don't feed because of Frank then please feed for me. I don't want to lose you, other than Brendon you two mean everything to me and if I lost just one of you it would kill me. Please Gee." Mikey said but a few tears rolled down his cheeks.
"I want him back Mikes." I whispered and looked down.
"I know you do, and I am going to be having words with him when he comes back, but right now you need to think about yourself right now." Mikey said and I nodded.
Mikey kissed the top of my head and we both heard a twig snap and we both looked up and Mikey got up and stood in front of me.
I peered round Mikey and saw a black wolf and I smiled and got up and walked towards the wolf.

"Frank, is that you Frank?" I whispered and the wolf moved and put his head in my hand.
Since I was weak I couldn't stand for very long and soon my knees just gave out.
"Gerard." I heard Mikey say but the wolf shifted quickly and that's when I saw Frank.
"What have you been doing to yourself Gee." Frank whispered as he picked me up and walked towards the house.
"No, you fucking made him like this. Your not coming inside." Mikey growled.
"Mikey, don't." I said quietly.
"Fine. You are allowed in. But don't think I won't fucking have words with you because I will." Mikey said seriously and walked off.
"Let's go inside." Frank said quietly and he walked inside and took me up to my room.

"Gee what has happened to you?" Frank asked quietly as he pulled the covers over me and sat on the edge of my bed.
"You left. You said you was going to visit but you didn't." I said and looked down.
"I'm sorry I never visited Gee, I just had a lot going on." Frank said and I looked at him.
"You found someone else haven't you?" I whispered and Frank smiled and shook his head.
"No, I found the person I want to be with. Although I understand if they don't want to be with me." Frank said and looked down.
"I'm sure they would still want to be with you." I yawned and Frank chuckled.
"Go to sleep. I'll make you some food and get you some blood." Frank whispered and I looked at him.
"Stay, please stay with me." I mumbled and Frank chuckled.
"I will do soon, but I need to clean myself up and get you food." Frank said and I felt him move and he kissed my forehead and I heard him walk off and I just went straight into a deep sleep.
