Only One Way

The first day without Gerard for a whole week you can do this, you can do this, it's only a week, you can do this. I was whispering to myself, while looking in the mirror, being careful not to wake Mikey who had slept in my bed again last night.

id only woke up fifteen minutes ago, and I was already missing Gerards teasing smirk, his soft lips, and his beautiful hazel eyes. Oh god his eyes. The butterflies in my stomach started fluttering around and I went weak at the knees.

"I can't fucking do this!I said kind of loudly and immediately paused to listen for Mikey, all I heard was his light snoring. my thoughts went back to gerard and i wondered if he read my letter yet, and wondering what he thought about it if he did.

I poured my heart out in that letter and I hoped he liked it and agree with some of the things I said, I let out a loud sigh. And then heard Mikey through the door"Frank, Hurry up, I'm taking you to meet my mom. i thought they didn't talk to their mom I thought but did as Mikey said.

"Dont talk much about Gerard" he said when we slid inside the car " mom always seemed to like me better, " I just nodded and he pulled out of the driveway. I closed my eyes and dreamed of gerard

i woke up as we pulled into Mikey and Gerard's mom's driveway. Mikey walked over and opened my door for me and took me by the hand, leading me inside.

The house smelled like cigarettes and didnt look very well kept. Mikeys mom was in the kitchen when we walked in, but walked into the living room as soon as she heard us.

" Mikey! " she said and gave him a hug, she was wearing sweat pants and a tank top with her hair pulled up into a messy bun atop her head. "So this is the guy?" She asked "kinda short isnt he?" I blushed and looked down "oh Mikey he's just your type!" She pulled me in for a quick hug then let me go. "Hi Mrs. Way." I said

"Gerard says hi" Mikey said, and led me to sit next to him on the couch. She made a kinda hmph sound before she spoke "hows that little brat doing? I pressed my nails into my hand when she said that. "he's not a brat ma, he's ju-" but Mikey's mother cut him off "honey, I really don't wanna fight today okay?" "Okay" Mikey answered and they continued talking about other things, never bringing up Gerard again.

After awhile Mikey excused himself to the bathroom. His mom turned to me and cooly said "so your fucking Gerard huh?" I was taken aback "u-um wh-wha" "oh don't play dumb, I saw how your eyes lit up when his name came up, and the anger in yours eyes when I called him a brat" I didn't know what to say so I stayed silent

"See, that's the thing about Gerard, he only thinks of himself and what HE needs, well not this time Frank. Because your gonna break up with Gerard or I'm telling Mikey about you cheating." We heard Mikey coming back down and she immediately shut up. Mikey's mom sent me a warning loom and I just nodded, even though I had no plans to break up with Gerard.

I sent a smile Mikey's way, as soon as Gee's out, we have to tell Mikey. I could see why Gee didn't get along with his mom, she was a bitch.
