Patrick paced around in his house. He waited until his wife walked in with only a t-shirt on. She asked softly, "Are you angry?"

"No. I'm debating if I want to do what I'm thinking of doing."

"And that is?"

"You want to put away a mentally ill kid in prison." Patrick's words were harsh, "My plans are confidential from you in this subject."

Her voice rose, "Excuse you? I'm still your wife, don't give me attitude."

"You're willing to put away a kid who's sick in prison filled with grown men. Gerard and Mikey are basically getting it easy but you're willing to toss this kid into a crowd of pedophiles and murderers."

She didn't say another word.

Patrick gave her one last glance, "I'm going out. There's something I need to do...I'll have Frank's cooperation for the deal by tomorrow."

Patrick stepped by Gerard's room.

Gerard looked at him, "I wasn't expecting anyone."

"I know .. how are you settling in?"

"I don't care if this place is low security. It's still a prison."

"Mikey's with you and you get therapy. Be thankful."

Gerard kept his mouth shut. He looked at Patrick, "What're you doing here anyway?"

Patrick hesitated, "I need a favor from you."

Gerard replied quickly, "If it has to do with Frank I don't want any part of it."

"Just let me-"

"No. I'm trying to get him out of my mind. He fucked up everything. He's sick in the head...he caused my brother to do things that my baby brother would never have thought of."

"Believe me, I want you and your brother to recover. Its all I care about. Recovery...which is why I need you to persue Frank to take a deal. If he accepts this deal, he'll have recovery for as long as he needs it."

Gerard bit his lower lip, "I have to? Why me?"

"He won't listen to anyone else...please, Gerard, I promise you if you do this, it'll be the last time you have to face him."

"That's a big promise."

"I mean every word."

Gerard bit the inside of his cheek, "W-when do I have to?"

"Tomorrow, 10 in the morning. An hour before the opposing side comes to talk to Frank again."

Gerard whimpered, "Ok. But only because you're helping my brother."

"I know you're scared. Don't be. I and police officers will be on the other side of the mirror, prepared to jump in if Frank gets out of hand."

"You won't be inside with me?"

"Its better if you go in alone." Patrick leaned in, "all you have to do is make sure he takes the deal. "
