Touch Him Again, And I'll Kill You

Gerard’s POV
It’s been about two months since the night of the dance. Thinking about it now, singing to Frank was probably the bravest thing I’ve ever done, which is really saying something because I’ve done some crazy shit.
I rolled over and smiled at Frank’s sleeping face. He looked peaceful, not like the entire world was stressing him out, which is how he usually is. It was a relief to see him so calm.
As if he knew I was watching him like a fucking creep, his eyes fluttered open.
His lips pulled up into a smile when his eyes met mine, and I leaned down and kissed him. It was brief but it was full of love, just like everything I did for him was.
“Good morning, love.” I whispered to him.
“G’morning.”
He pulled himself up into a sitting position, and I did the same, not wanting to be away from him.
“Do we have school today?” He asked. I shrugged. “I have no clue. I haven’t really been keeping track of the days.”
He sighed and picked his phone up off of the nightstand. “Fuck, Gerard. We’re two hours late! Why didn’t you wake me up?” He snapped.
“I’m sorry. You just looked so relaxed, I didn’t want to ruin it for you.” I said quietly.
He stood up off of my bed and grabbed his pants off of the floor, and put them on quickly, then went to my closet and grabbed my Smiths shirt and slipped it on.
He turned and looked at me. “Gerard, come on. Get up, we have to get going.” I pulled myself up, and began getting dressed. If I took too long, Frank would yell at me to hurry up.

Ten minutes later, we were dressed, and walking out to my car.
“Frank, the day is already almost over. We should just stay here.”
Frank looked at me like I was crazy.
“Fine, forget I even said anything.” I said, before getting into the driver’s seat. Once he was buckled up, I began the drive to school.
When we got there, Frank got out of the car, and walked to the door without me. I walked a few feet behind him.
He didn’t stop to say goodbye to me, he just began walking down the hall to his class. “I love you!” I yelled after him. He didn’t even turn around.

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly. I met Frank at his locker like I usually do during every passing period, but he hardly acknowledged me. He just grabbed his books, and walked away.
He was treating my like shit and I didn’t know why. I was tired of it, so right after school ended, I went to go visit Mikey.

Frank’s POV
“You’re being a dick, Frank.”
I looked at Lindsey with a shocked expression. “How am I being a dick?” I asked her.
“Well for one, you’ve hardly talked to him all day. Hell, you barely even look at him anymore. I hate to be the one to tell you how to be in your relationship, but Gerard is my best fucking friend and I won’t allow anyone, especially you to treat him like shit.”
I glared at her. “Lindsey, you have no fucking clue about anything that has to do with my relationship. So how about you mind your own damn business.” I snapped at her. I heard a loud snap, and there was an incredibly large pain in my cheek. “ow, Fuck!” I yelled out.
“Talk to me like that again, and I’ll do worse than just slap you, Frank.”
“I know, I’m sorry Lindsey. I didn’t mean it. I don’t know what’s going on with me anymore. I get pissed about every small thing that Gerard does, even though I know he doesn’t do any of it on purpose. I’m just so stressed.”
She rubbed small circles on my back. “It’s okay, Frank. I think you just need to calm down for a bit. Maybe focus on one thing at a time, even if that means taking a small break from Gerard. I know that he wouldn’t want that, but if you need to do it, then you should.”
“I don’t want that, Lindsey. I worked way too hard to get him, I’m not going to lose him again. I love him so much, and I would die before giving him up.”
“Then I think you should let him know that.”
