*Kat POV*

"No!" I cried flinging myself forward. I grabbed onto Gerard.
"Kat, let go." He sighed, looking down at me.
"No."
"You don't love me, so why make me suffer?! Why make me go through everything, just for you to leave?! I knew that the kids at school were right, I knew that they all were!" By now he was sobbing, tears rolling down his pale face. doctors were behind us on the roof, and others were gathering under us on the sidewalk. I looked to Mikey for help, but he just stood looking out at the forest. He was thinking of Elena. That's what we need now.
"Gerard, I do love you. I just didn't want to get in your way. You wanted to form a band, change peoples lives. You can't do that when your dead on that sidewalk. Think of Elena. What what she think? How could she go on, knowing your dead? Right now, if you throw yourself off this roof, Mikey goes with you, Elena shuts down, your parents shut down, and everyone that ever loved you? Dies. They can't live without you. And those fans that you were gonna save? Gone. Just because of this one decision. You owe it to Elena. She inspires you. You need to step down off this ledge." By this time, Mikey had stepped down. Whether it was because of what I said, or if it was the height, I have no idea.
"How do you know anything? You just moved here, you don't know Grandma. She won't care anyways."
"How wrong you are, boy." A voice came from behind me. Gerard froze. "I love you more than the world. I was there when you were born, and when you broke your arm when you were three. I was there for your entire life."
"Gerard, maybe this isn't such a good idea." Mikey muttered, grabbing Gerard's arm and gently pulling him off the edge. Don and a couple of doctors ran over, gently pushing Gerard onto a stretcher. He didn't fight. He just stared at the sky, eyes glassy, not caring.
"Kat, why don't you go to the car? We'll be down-" Donna started.
"Donna, I'm pregnant." I cut her off. Everybody except for the doctors froze and turned to me.
"W-what?" She stuttered.
"When my b-brother had me, he r-raped me." I whispered. "When we got here and they did a rape test, they found out I'm pregnant."
"But it's too soon to find out." A nurse said.
"He's done it before. The last time was a few weeks ago."
Everybody was silent for a moment. Since the doctors had already got Gerard away, it was just Frank, Mikey, Bob, Ray, Donna, Don, and two nurses. Tears ran down my face as I ran down the stairs and to the ground floor, past the confused staff members and out to the car, where I lied down. After a few minutes, Ray, Bob, Frank, and Mikey came out. Mikey was beside me, with Bob driving, Ray in the front, and Frank on Mikey's other side.
"Mom and Dad are staying." Mikey said quietly to me."They're the only one's who can see Gerard, so they're spending the night here."
I didn't answer him, but instead just sat in silence through the whole ride. They figured out that the three boys and Elena were gonna stay at the Way's place. When the car stopped, I got out and headed next door towards my house.
"Kat, where are you going?" Mikey sighed.
"To my house. I gotta tell mom."
"No, Kat, she can come over tomorrow. It's three in the morning, you need to go to bed."
"But-"
"Kat dear, come on. We'll fix you a big meal and then put you to bed." Elena said, gently leading me to the house. I don't know when she got here, or how, but that didn't matter to me at the moment.
"I'm not hungry."
"Dear, you got a baby growing in that tummy, and you haven't eaten in days. You're gonna eat."

-The next day-

*Gerard POV*

I linked my eyes open to find, yet again, white walls. This time, everything was padded. I looked around to see mom and dad next to me.
"M-mom?" I groaned. Her eyes shot open and she smiled.
"Hey, honey, how you feeling?" She asked tiredly.
"Tired."
"Yeah." She was silent a few minutes. "So, are you still mad at Kat?"
"I don't know. What was she talking about last night, when they were taking me away?"
"She's pregnant, honey. Her brother had... used her several times before, and when they did the raped test, they found that she's pregnant."
