The Spike in my Heart (Frerard)

That night I struggled to get the fanged boy off of my mind. Vampires were supposed to be evil.
Suck the blood right out of you, but he was kind. He wanted to know how I was feeling, he was worried about me. And I guess the fact that he was attractive helped form my new view on vamps.

As I sat up in my bed I looked around, my eyes adjusting to the light. "FRANK!!!!" aunt Ash called "WAKE UP!" I sighed and rolled out of bed. I walked to the mirror and studied my neck, just in case I hadn't noticed a bite. I sighed in relief knowing that the only thing on my neck was my scorpion tattoo. I threw a smashing pumpkins hoodie over my head and combed my hair with my fingers. I ran downstairs and swallowed my break feast "Bye aunt Ash!" I said, kissing my aunt on the forehead "come back after school before going out Frank!" I nodded and rushed out.

*TIME SKIP-AFTER SCHOOL*

School was the same. Nothing special happened, but nothing too boring.
When I got home Ash wasn't there so I wrote her a note saying that I had plans with Ray, Bob, and Matt. I dropped my backpack to the floor and ran back out.

Walking in the vampire forest alone, of course I was scared. But there was something about the Gerard kid that made me want to know more. "Gerard?" I said in a hushed voice. I continued to call his name until a voice from behind a tree spoke "Why are you, a human looking for my brother?" brother? oh great. "I met Gerard yesterday. He's nice. I want to talk to him again." I said confidentiality. The boy materialized from behind the tree. He was maybe ten inches taller than me, extremely skinny, and pale. He had brown hair that was tucked into a beanie and glasses. "I'm Mikey. I can get Gerard if you just wait here." I nodded and the boy disappeared into the trees.

Thirty minutes. That's how long it was until Mikey returned with Gerard. Gerard's pale face seemed to brighten when his eyes landed on my face. "Frank?" he said. The shock in his tone was evident. "That's me!" I blushed lightly and smiled "I thought you wanted me to stay away. You know us vampires always trying to kill cute teenage boys." he elbowed me and Mikey wiggled his eyebrows- realizing what he did was out of character he walked away-. Wait a second. Did Gerard just call me cute? At this I blushed harder "You look like a tomato quit it out! Now are you going to tell me why you came or just stare at me?" I shook my head to take me out of my trance "Oh! well I had time to think about everything and y'annow you aren't that bad." "Considering your'e a vampire" I added in. "come on I wanna show you somethin' "

Gerard took me down a path with jagged rocks and trees that had branches spreading out to all directions. It began to get scary and without thinking I gripped onto Gerard's hand. He looked back at me and the blush on his face was evident. Don't tell me i'm falling for a fucking vampire.

After walking for a while Gerard showed me to a darker part of the forest. There was a nice little pond filled with browning leaves, and a bench right beside the tree which the leaves were coming from. "Gerard, it's beautiful." I said smiling. "I'm glad you like it Frankie. My mum used to take me to this place before..." his voice trailed off and he looked down. "before what?" he wiped his eyes from forming tears "some people found her. Humans. They staked her." (staking is when someone gets a wood object and uses it to stab and kill a vampire) "I'm so sorry Gee." he smiled at me "ever since I met you, my happiness seems to be coming back."
"you've only known me for two days." I stated "yeah but you can't deny you don't feel the same way." I smirked "okay! fine i'll admit it"

"So Frank, tell me about yourself." I nodded " al-right. Well my full name is Frank Iero. I'm 17 years old.I play the guitar, I call her Pansy. I love dogs. And my favourite bands are The Smashing Pumpkins, and Misfits." Gerard nodded "being a vampire we don't really listen to music but when we do I really enjoy tsp and misfits. I'm probably the second youngest vampire ever seeing as i'm twenty one years old. I like to sing. And dogs are pretty cool."

We sat there for a while just appreciating our bond. A vampire and a human. It was nice. suddenly Gerard started to sing
