Frank Iero is a 19 year old kid trying to just get through life as quietly as possible. His parents are disappointed in him, and he knows it. he's just lucky they didn't kick him out when he told them he'd knocked his girlfriend up. The two eventually split after Frank admitted he was bi to her and decided he was done ruining his life with drugs like her. He has full custody of their son David. Now that David is 4 and ready for kindergarten, he goes to the high schools program for teens with kids. Frank's been stressing lately with David at his school, because any time there's a problem he gets called down to the office to handle it. The schools com skills teacher notices a change in frank and tries to help while getting his feelings mixed in. Oh and he doesn't know frank has a kid, because frank doesn't tell anyone, not because he's ashamed, but because he doesn't want people to treat david like he's a mistake.
