What are you doing to me?

Since I had returned home a week ago, Gerard has been nothing but amazing. He was tending to all of my needs, and then some. And every day he told me how much he loved me.
I keep telling him that he doesn't need to do that every single day, but he wouldn't listen. I guess it was an extremely nice change from how he previously acted, but, I didn't need to be treated like royalty. This wasn't some poorly written fanfic or a romantic comedy that was given high reviews because of the actors. This is real life.

I couldn't focus on the task at hand because Gerard was wrapped around my waist.
"Gerard, I have to finish this" I groaned. If he didn't stop, I was never going to finish the test that determined whether or not I graduate in a few weeks.
"Mm, but I don't wanna let you go" he hummed.
"If you don't stop then I won't be able to graduate with you" I reminded him. With that his hands were off of me and he looked at my screen.
"Huh. Well, finish your test. I'll be over here drawing or something."
Finally I could get this done.

The test was difficult, but I was able to get through it. Thankfully. Now, all I needed to do was wait for the results.
I was ecstatic as I went down stairs to eat, if I passed, then I could graduate with Gerard!
"How'd it go?" Mikey was the first to question me. All of the guys wanted me to graduate in May just as bad as I wanted to.
"Won't know for another week or so."
"Do you think you passed?"
I shrugged, "I really hope so."
"Me too", everyone agreed.

After we ate dinner, everyone decided to go to their rooms and relax. Only, Mikes and I just went to our rooms. Ray and Gerard had to 'speak privately', which makes me think they're up to something. Which, most likely, they were. I wouldn't be surprised, though, because those two always tried to plan surprises.
Like, we're in the same house all of the time. You guys suck at keeping secrets, give it up. Their efforts were tremendously appreciated and sweet.
Finally, thirty minutes later, Gerard came downstairs.
"So, babe, what do ya wanna do?" he asked gleefully.
"I don't know, watch movies? You pick"
"Let's party plan."
"What the hell for? Nobody's birthday is for another few months."
"An engagement party?" my mouth fell slack at that. "What?"
I closed my mouth. "For whom are we planning this party for?"
"Mikey and Ray, of course. Ray said that he doesn't wanna wait 2 more years to ask Mikey to marry him. So he's gonna do it in a few weeks."
"That's what you two were talking about?"
"Yeah, what else did You think we were talking about?"
"With you two, who knows" he laughed and got out stuff to start planning.

After we were done planning, it was late.
"We should get some sleep. Its getting pretty late and we both have work in the morning" I suggested. I was tired, and I'm sure he was too.
"Okay. Remember, Mikey can't know about this, it has to be a surprise. When he asks what this is for, tell him it's a graduation party. He should buy that" I nodded and crawled into bed.

He crawled in right after me and turned off the light. After a soft peck on my hair and an exchanging of 'I love you's, we both fell asleep easily.

Notes

I'm back, sorry it took so long, just some stuff that needed to be taken care of. Anyway, sorry its so short and shitty, but I'm rusty.

Also: I have an extremely important question to ask all of you; would you rather me draw the ending to this story out (for about 10 more chapters ) or would you rather me end it within 4 chapters and maybe an epilogue?
