Dead.

Chapter Twelve

It was a blurred scene to him, but I had seen it clearly. He wrapped his hand around the teen's throat, staring into his eyes. And with quick speed, he cut the ropes off and smacked the teen's body onto the floor. Frankie's facial expression changed to insane as he raised his knife and with no hesitation, stabbed the teen repeatedly. It was the blood that intrigued me the most. There was so much blood. I myself haven't made that much blood before, but Frankie, on his first time, has. It was somewhat careless of him, but it was an easy clean-up.

The blood was a replacement of water for him. He bathed in the teen's blood, not caring that it was flowing down his face. He did not care that it was on his clothes. He seemed satisfied, and I was proud.

As I said, the blood was an easy clean-up. A bit of chemicals and a mop would not only clean the floor, but also demolishing the smell of blood. Frankie's bloody clothes were burned. The body was dumped onto the street-but of course, not before violating the body. Yes, I had a little intercourse with the corpse. I would've preferred if the corpse wasn't a corpse at all. Though, if I wanted to keep my reputation going, violating the body was necessary.

The next day, the body was found. The Raven was blamed. It was unfair, due to the fact that it was not only me-it wasn't me at all-but Frankie. I wanted both of us to be recognized. I would have to find a way.

Frankie and I walked past the crime scene, licking a cone of ice cream. It wasn't long until Mikey showed up, staring at us. Frankie asked, "What?"

Mikey muttered, "Where were you yesterday?"

Frankie licked his ice cream, "With Gerard." He looked at me along with Mikey.

Mikey stood by me, "Oh, well, I would've liked to come."

The rest of the small walk was quiet. Frankie and Mikey didn't talk much, but I did. I talked about last year, leaving out the parts about the murders I committed, talking about the times where I trapped myself in my home, keeping away from society because of the fear of judgment (my psychotic ways).

Mikey said, "Judgement is scary. People you don't even know can ruin your emotional confidence."

I stopped when I laid eyes on Detective Toro. He was talking with a pedestrian from across the street. I scowled to myself as Mikey proceeded to lecture. I leaned over to Frankie, "Keep Mikey busy."

Frankie looked at me puzzled but nodded slowly as he changed the subject on Mikey. I casually walked away towards Toro whose eyes were already set on me. He had a fucking smile on his face already, as if he had the upper hand. I relaxed my face as I approached him, "Detective, I would like to apologize."

He looked at me, "For?"

"Two days ago...the backlash."

He raised his brows before looking away, "It's fine. I didn't really mind it at all." He added, "I'm too busy finding The Raven...close on his tracks." His confidence on his last four words weren't strong.

I knew he was bluffing.

I tested, "How so?"

He gave me a weak smile, "Wouldn't you like to know."

I didn't flinch. I gave a one-nod, "I understand you would like to keep the case confidential." There was a second that our eyes met before I walked away back to Frankie and Mikey. Toro was secretive, and I respected that. But if he were to ever actually find any solid evidence that could put me or my dear Frankie away, I would personally spill his fucking blood onto the earth's soil.
