Gerard Way Fell In Love With Me

Gerard's P.O.V

Mikey smiled down at Kat. She was still hugging him while the rest of us sat down. I stayed next to her. I've no intention of moving away from her.
"We were all talking on the way here." Mikey informed her. She pulled away and moved back into my arms, watching Mikey as he stood up. "We're all going on holiday." He stated as he sat by Alicia, pulling her onto his lap. "All of us lot. A friend said we can have his log cabin for a week or two. I..we decided that we're going for two weeks. It's in a remote part of America. It's a little town called Comfort strangely enough. The cabin is further into the Woods. It's a mile away from the town itself. The town has a small grocery store, a hairdressers, bar, cafe and hotel. Along with the obvious places like doctors office and small police station. The cabin has six bedrooms and a hot tub. All bedrooms have a separate bathroom. It's a open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. It has a large hot tub and jacuzzi. The cabin has a lake nearby with its own dock and speed boat. The lake and dock are private. So no interruptions." He smiled at me. "So you two need to pack cos we leave tomorrow."
My jaw dropped open as I looked at Kat.
She smiled back at me, weakly. "Away from here." She said quietly. "Just me, you and our friends. I think your brother is a genius."
I smile down at her. "So you want us to go?"
"If you do." She said as she rested her head on my shoulder.
I kissed the top of her head and turned to look at Mikey. "We're in."
Mikey smiled. "Brilliant." He stood up dragging Alicia up with him. "We better make coffee's for us all so we can talk over the schedule."

Kat's P.O.V

I snuggled into Gerard's side. There's no way I'm letting what happened ruin my life with Gerard. He is all that matters now. I won't miss a second of our time together moping over what happened. I'm going to make the most of our lives and our friends. I'm thirty fucking eight. I'm not dead. So I'm going to have fun. With my friends. With my Gerard. I look back up at Gerard. He smiles back at me.
"You okay, baby?" He asks.
I look around the room. Our friends. Frank and Jamia. Funny and smart. Ray and Christa. Sweet and caring. Bob and Caitlin. Nice and kind. Mikey and Alicia, who only just sat back down. What can I say about them? I felt like I'm part of the family when they were around. They were the kindest couple I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
"Kat?" Gerard sounded worried.
Everyone looked at me with concern. I looked back at Gerard. "I'm okay." I say with a smile. "Better than I should be in the circumstances." I look around at the others again. "I feel like I can tell you anything." I tell them. "I'm lucky to have met you." I turn back to Gerard. "I'm not going to let what happened spoil our life together."
Gerard smiled then kissed me.
