Gerard's P.O.V

Next day.7:03am.

Mikey had turned up with the others at six in the morning. We all piled in a mini bus driven by Bob. Me and Kat sat in the back cuddled together. Kat hadn't slept much so she fell asleep with her head on my lap. I stroked her hair, watching her sleep. Last night she kept waking up crying. I tried to comfort her as much as possible. She had a total of about an hours sleep. Of course I had none because I was worried about her. I was exhausted. But I don't care. Kat's all that matters.
"You okay, bruv?" Mikey asked, turning around in his seat infront of me so he could see me.
I looked up at him and gave a weak smile. "Yeah." I said as I noticed that everyone except Bob were looking at me with concerned looks. "I'm just tired." I sighed. "Kat had a few nightmares last night. She only had an hour in total. I didn't sleep at all. I was too worried about her."
Jamia smiled from the seat across the aisle from us. "Us girl's will watch out for Kat some night's so you can sleep." She said. The other girls agreed. "We were all talking last night when we left yours. Bob and Caitlin are going to do the errand runs. You know like picking up stuff from town. Ray and Christa are doing the cooking. Mikey and Alicia are on cleaning duty. Me and Frank are on relief duty. Like giving Bob and Caitlin a day or two off. Or one of the other two couples. Seem as the whole point of this holiday was to give you and Kat a little time away after...recent events, you have no jobs. Let us lot help."
My jaw dropped open. "I can't let you lot do everything."
"No arguments, bro." Mikey ordered. "Kat's a lovely girl. We all love her. What happened has effected us too. Everyone of us lost it one way or another when we found out."
"I had to hold Bob back when he tried to go to the hospital and kill the guy." Caitlin admitted.
"While me, Christa and Alicia cried, Frank, Ray and Mikey just froze up." Jamia told me.
I stared at Bob in shock. He caught my look in the review mirror. "What?" He asked, nervously. "I think Kat's a great lass. Get over it."
I grinned. "She is a great lass." I agreed, resting my head on the head rest.
"Okay now sleep, bruv." Mikey ordered. "While you can."
I closed my eyes. "Love you, guys."
"Don't go all mushy on us." Bob said. "I'm driving. You get mushy and I may have to kiss you. And I know you don't want that."
Everyone laughed as I slowly drifted to sleep.

Kat's P.O.V

I'd heard the entire conversation between Gerard and the others. I wasn't asleep. I couldn't sleep. But I felt really safe amongst these lot. The only time I'd felt safe since it happened was when I was in Gerard's arms. But on this bus with these lot made me feel like nothing can ever hurt me. I sat up and put my head on Gerard's shoulder.
Mikey turned to look at me. A small smile on his face. "Hey, Kat." He whispered.
I smiled back at him. "Hey." I looked at Jamia. She smiled back. "Mia, can I ask you a favour?"
Jamia nodded. "Anything, sweetie." She said.
I look around to see everyone, except Bob who's watching the road, looking at me. "Actually I need all of you to help me with something."
Ray grinned. "Woo hoo. Group project."
