“And how long did it take you to forgive Gerard?” the interviewer looked to Frank.
“Well, ya know, I don’t feel that I ever officially did. I mean, I forgave him but that trust really never recovered. I was willing to get back into the relationship with him. But what he did, it left me kind of broken. I had given him my everything and he had basically thrown it all away. Sure, he was high and probably drunk when he got high, but still it hurt more than anything. I was waiting for him to walk out on me, and sure, it put me in a few awkward situations when I falsely accused him, but he understood. He knew that he had done this to himself, and put himself into this situation. So he didn’t get offended and he didn’t argue, and I really respect him for that.” Frank explained.
“Now when did you guys get back together?”
“Not too terribly long after Gerard apologized. I kind of held him on hold for a while. I was really hurt by him and I pretty much just wanted to torcher him for a while. We had to learn how to be friend before we could be lovers again, and we both knew it wouldn’t happen over night. I think that alone is what has gotten Gerard and I through the years, rebuilding that friendship.”
“How long did it take you guys to get back into the swing of things?”
“Our relationship was back to normal and strong before we finished writing material for the black parade. We lived together when we got off tour. It really was the life I had been dreaming of since I met the guy at the university.”
“Frank, do you mind if we bring Gerard in?” the man asked.
“Of course not, you’re the boss,” Frank chuckled as he stood wiping of his jeans.
“No we mean with you,” He spoke as Frank looked up at him confused. “Sit,” he spoke motioning with his hand for Frank to sit. Frank did as he was told as he waited and listened to the door open behind him, the man called Gerard in. Frank was slightly nervous. He wad never told the story with Gerard in the room. They both knew it was an uncomfortable subject for Gerard which made it uncomfortable for Frank as well. Frank faced the wall as he heard Gerard’s converse skid across the floor as he approached the couch, to sit next to Frank.
“Hello Gerard, the man smiled.
“Hey…” Gerard took a drink of his coffee.
“Now Frank just got finished telling me about how you guys rebuilt your friendship before you got back together."
“Yeah we spent a lot of time together doing simple things, a lot of just chillingk, going to movies for fun, going and playing games, things we both enjoyed. We went back to New Jersey and lived together as roommates rather than lovers, and it was a good time. We had a lot of fun, even our fair share of stupid arguments. It really was what you’d call a rebuilding period.” Gerard nodded.
“He’s right, and I gained back a lot of trust and faith in Gerard but I didn’t need him anymore. My sanity didn’t rely on him. He could go visit mikey for a week and I’d be at home having a good time. Sure I wished he was there but I could wait for him to get back. It changed from an unhealthy clingy relationship, to a healthy distanced friendship, and then when we were ready and did get back together, it was still healthy. We both had the space we needed to make it work and make later transitions easier,” Frank explained.
“So Gerard,” the interviewer spoke changing the subject, “the fans are dying to know, do you infact sleep naked?”
“Yes,” Frank blurted.
“No,” Gerard corrected.
“No?” Frank questioned.
“No, I’m more of a pj’s kind of guys. I like my bad ass pajama’s.”
“Oh well you slept naked when you slept with me,” Frank giggled and Gerard laughed too. It was a really nice change to see out of Gerard. He had been so tense and uptight the whole time, but around Frank, he really loosened up.
“Well where are the skeleton Pj’s?”
“Oh the skeleton pajamas? Now that’s when I would sleep naked because those things are so damned hot.”
“Do you drink at all now Gerard?” the interviewer asked as he chuckled moving on from the previous question.
“Occasionally, mostly celebratory drinking, I haven’t been drunk in seven years though, since that night in 2004.”
“That really is very impressive,” the man nodded.
“Ya know, that’s really the point of the whole thing, I like to think that a kid having a My Chemical Romance action figure won’t make him want to start a band, but save a family out of a burning building, “Gerard explained using excessive hand gestures. “Our band is to show our fans that the world is not better off without them.”
“So it that what the band is all about?” The interviewer asked as the conversation quickly took a turn.
“Ya, ya know, if a fan goes home feeling better about themselves, then we’ve done our job. I feel like this band, I’ve finally got something that speaks for me,” Frank explained.
“This band saved my life twice, first after 9/11 when I was severely depressed and later when I was a suicidal alcoholic, this band wants to save your life. And that’s really the whole fucking point of all this. We actually have fans that come to shows wearing shirts that say “MCR saved my life,” and I think that’s why we are still doing what we do best,” Gerard licked his lips nodding. “We try to send the message that it’s all your quirks and all your problems, even your depressions and your failures, that’s what makes you… you. And it’s okay to be yourself, that’s all we ever encourage you to do, and never take anyone’s fucking shit. It’s okay to be messed up because we are just four dudes that are just as messed up as you, and we’ll get through this. I like to say, that no matter how bad it gets, don’t give up, always keep running, we will always be there for you. Just turn up the speakers, sing like no one’s listening, and dance like nobody’s there.” Gerard nodded explaining in depth his opinion on the subject as the interviewer nodded thinking to himself as he was strangely touched by Gerard’s words.
“We love what we do, and that’s all there is to it,” frank nodded.
“Our policy is and always will be, and I say this a couple times per wee or so, ya know, if you’re a racist, sexist, homophobe, or just a plain asshole, we’ve got a message for you, go the fuck home!” Most of the time I’ll say that after Frank and I do something risky,” Gerard spoke and frank smirked, “and we’ve had people leave in a huff before.”
“Our shows are like soft gay porn,” Frank chuckles, “it gets pretty interesting.
“Well what’s the point? Why do you do it?” The interviewer asked.
“Well it’s to be confident in whom you are and how you feel, and in our case it is especially what you believe in,” Frank replied.
“Well what happened after your rebuilding period?”
“Well we went and it was about six months before we started writing Black Parade, that’s when we got back together. And then we wrote the album and life was goo, normal, easy, atleast for a little while.

I just used up my entire day to read this entire story because its just so awesome :D
I really wish you could make a sequel (or maybe a short-story/epilogue type of thing?) I would love to see what happened with Lynz and Jamia. Oh, and also, I didn't get the ending. Are Gee and Frank together or not? Did they even get back together after trying to rebuild their friendship? Amazing story, I really loved the ending~
