Forgive and Forget
Chapter 20
“So after what Lyn-z did, did you ever forgive her? Did beating up josh justify her actions at all?”
“Well I forgave her, eventually, but hitting Josh didn’t justify anything at all.” Gerard moved his gaze from his lap up to the interviewers face. “What Frank had said was right, all the stress of those few weeks did change me, in a way I never would have seen on my own. I talked to Josh years later,” Gerard emphasized the word year with not only his tone of voice but his expression. “He said in just those few moments, he saw a completely different person in me, that he’d never seen before. Although he’d never met my fist before so that may have something to do with it.” Gerard chuckled, “Oh the things we do in rage,” he sighed as he ran his hand through his hair.
“Were you the kind of guy to beat people up? Like had you done it regularly before?” The man motioned with his pen hoping to help get his point across.
“Yeah, ya know, walking the allies waiting for someone to get in my way so I could smash his face in. Nah, ya know this whole thing, I’ve never said so before, buit it helped inspire teenagers, the song. While sitting on that bus, I thought about my wife, her bab, and us as kids. Sure we were older than teenagers at the time, but I still see us as kids. What a mess I had become, ya know what I mean?” Gerard stared at his feet as he spoke.
“I do,” The man took the moment to jot notes down on his pad of paper.

I love how you added real interviews, and real events, and dates,
and ugh, I just fucking love this so fucking much,
I spent my whole day reading this.
You made it sound like it is in fact what happened, if not somewhat close to what actually happen.
---sorry for the weridness, I just freaking love this.
