Demolition Lovers

Chapter 13
Gerard’s POV September 2002
Were we ready? I was confronted with a paper, it was September 2002. They wanted us to sign, we said we would, I couldn’t help but think could this really be the beginning of our first our first album? If we want to get out message out this is the first step, but is it really worth while? Is this really the first step that will be most effective?
That didn’t matter, we were already confronted with the papers forced to make the decision now. I looked to Frank, who had already signed his paper, Ray was in the process, and Mikey, and he looked at me in hope for answers. “Could we have a minute?” After a moment I turned my head to the men leaning against the desk waiting impatiently. I needed everyone’s input on the situation, what I didn’t need was their business point of view.
“Of course Mr. Way,” Mikey and I watched as they left the room.
“Frank, have you signed already?!” Mikey was only slightly shocked.
“Yeah,” Frank sighed through down his pen, lent back in his chair putting his hands behind his head. “Look you guys, you don’t need to worry. When Leather Mouth and I were looking to signs, these guys were a big goal for us. Every album that comes out of this place is legit.” Frank pointed intensely, trying to get his point across, it worked.
“We aren’t going to be on their priority list, so we won’t be in the fancy ass studio, but what does it matter?” Ray stood up, “We’re on our way!” He through his arms in the air.
Immediately, my signature, along with Mikey’s was on that paper. The two men walked in, “Welcome to eyeball records boys!: We were signed for our first record deal, it was about to be nothing but good, and better.
After the meeting, Mikey went to his girlfriend’s house, Ray went home, and Frank came to my house. We had some music we wanted to work on.
“I’m worried about Mikey, I sighed, I had been thinking about him all morning.
“Why?” asked Frank.
“Do you know his girlfriend? To say the least, she’s kind of a bitch.”
“Alicia right?” Frank though for a moment, “I think I’ve met her once or twice, why? What did she do?”
“Not much actually,” I said after a pause. “She just doesn’t give off a good vibe if you ask me, even though no one did,” I shrugged. “Ever since he started hanging out with her his attitude changed, he’s been extraordinarily grumpy.” Frank merely nodded in response. “He’s made all sorts of gay jokes. I thought he was getting better. When I confronted him about it he promised he’d stop, but obviously he hasn’t. I just don’t get it, he know how I feel about assholes like that! I don’t know what happened.”
Frank and I sat on the couch in the living room with my guitar. I played a simple riff for him, which was on its way to becoming Demolition Lovers. I hummed as Frank watched me, it took all my self control not to look at him, because honestly, he was beautiful. Frank rested with his elbows on his knees; his hair fell over his face. His lips and nose rings glistened. When I did look at him, there was no going back, our eyes locked, and that was the end there was no turning away.
“I never though it’d be this way just you and me here alone, and if you stay all I’m asking for is…” my singing began to fade away as I put the guitar down beside me.
All I did was look at him for that moment, studying the colors in his eyes. I put my finger under his chin as I guided Frank’s face to meet mine. His lips were soft as I brushed them against my own. The touch sent a shock through my lips and into the back of my throat.
Frank’s POV
September 2002
We had our first record deal, this was good. We went back to Gee’s house to relax a little, but when he picked up his guitar, I was thoroughly disappointed. I didn’t really want to work on any music. I loved the band, don’t get me wrong, but I was pretty sure my fingers were going to fall off with so much practice. If he wasn’t going to make me play, I was fine, so I just listened, when he sang, I couldn’t help but watch. He still looked at his fingers like the noob he is. Once he got the hang of it all, he played with his eyes closed; his singing improved for it was all he had to focus on.
He hit the end of what he had prepared. It took me a moment to realize he had finished. When he looked at me I had been caught, his eyes locked on mine. Gerard inched closer, looking from one eye to the other. As he looked at me I felt so exposed. I felt like he was staring into my soul.
He put his finger under my chin, I felt forced to surrender to his touch, even if there was no force at all. I closed my eyes sending the message he could do as he pleased. His mouth hovered for a moment as the sent of cigarettes enveloped my senses. The message was received when his lips grazed my own.
All my defenses had surrendered, I was his and only his for that very moment, he had complete control over me. As the intensity grew, we moved in sync, there was an unspoken agreement as to whose head would move where and when. I felt his fingertips press into my shoulder sending the message I should lean back. His unspoken requests were heard loud and clear. I fell back into the arm rest of the couch where my neck fit perfectly. His hands made their way under my shirt resting on my sides. My heart beat quickened pace. Gerard placed his hand on my chest as my heart nearly exploded.
What was I doing? What about Jamia? The thought only lingered merely for a moment, for the movement of his cold fingertips distracted me. Just as I remembered I had hands as well, I carefully placed my hands on his waist and on the back of his neck. I put pressure forcing him only slightly closer, giving his tongue and my own more privilege to explore the unknown caves.
The heat rose, then, the dreaded moment came; Gerard lifted his face away from mine as I looked around the room. “What?” I asked, “Why’d you st-” I was interrupted by his hand over my mouth; I painfully wished it wasn’t his hand silencing me.
“Shhhh…” he hissed as he listened for the inaudible. Then, in the middle of no where, there was a sound of gears turning in a lock as the key entered the socket.
“How did you?” Gerard lept off of me before the issue had even occurred to me. He fixed his shirt as he went to the kitchen. I sat up recomposing myself as Gerard fidled with what sounded like the coffee pot. I picked up the guitar creating a more natural scene. Mikey then entered the room.
I’m home!” he began to shout as he laid eyes on me, “oh hey Frank, is Gerar-”
“Mikey, goddamnit! You didn’t leave me any coffee! How do you work this fucking thing?” Gerard swore excessively I assumed, due to the sudden cease in our fun.

Okay, so i recognize that bullets came out july 2002 but in order to make some future things work (which i already wrote) It needed to be this way. So i apologize for the inacurracy in the facts ^^"

I just used up my entire day to read this entire story because its just so awesome :D
I really wish you could make a sequel (or maybe a short-story/epilogue type of thing?) I would love to see what happened with Lynz and Jamia. Oh, and also, I didn't get the ending. Are Gee and Frank together or not? Did they even get back together after trying to rebuild their friendship? Amazing story, I really loved the ending~
