Isn't That Something

Once touring was over for the time being, Ray and I have been talking about marriage even more.
“Ray, I don’t know if talking about marriage this soon is such a good idea.” Ray has mostly been the one that wants to get married. I do but not so soon. I wanted to live a little but then again I love him to much that I don’t see myself without him with me. I went through the house cleaning while Ray went to the studio. I couldn’t help but think that I may one be Mrs. Crow Toro. I put that thought the back of my mine and went on about my day. I decided to go grocery shopping. I was on the interstate and I might drop by the studio to see the guys for a minute not like I haven’t seen them like a week ago but still. As I got off the highway I heard a crash and then everything went black…
Ray’s POV

I was waiting for Gerard who received a call and went outside to take it. It was odd for his mother to call during our time in the studio.
“Mikey!” Gee yelled from the door. He was crying and my heart almost stopped.
“What happened?” Bob asked.
“Crow was driving here and a drunk driver hit her car. Her car flipped 3 times she is severally injured but alive.” Gee explained. I felt my eyes tearing up but I held it back.
“You guys need to go see her,” Frank said. We packed it up for the say and all of us left out in a hurry. The whole way there I couldn’t believe this was happening.
We got to the hospital Crow’s parents and her band was there. We all went up to her mom and hugged her.
“She’s in surgery. Her ribs punctured her lung and there are a few other things they got to fix. There isn’t any head trauma or spinal trauma. Her leg is broke and so is her forearm but they police say that she is a miracle at this point,” Her mother explained to us. Mikey and Gee were beside themselves and I was too. Their mother then pulled me out of the waiting room to talk.
“Now would be the time to tell Gerard, Ray. Just man up and say I love Crow and she loves me.” I knew she was right but I want to tell him together with Crow. We go back in and a couple of minutes later the doctor comes out.
“The surgery was successful and you are all able to go see her. She is awake and asking to see everyone.” He walked away and we all waked rather quickly to go see her. We reached her room and we see her arguing with the nurse because she wanted real food.
“Crow,” her mother scolded. I chuckled a little bit because that was Crow. She growled and let the nurse leave. I got beside her on her good arm which wasn’t actually broken just a hair line fracture and the cast or lack of would come off in a week. Her leg has casted up to her knee. I hugged her before her brothers. She didn’t care she wanted to see me if anything.
“Gee, I have to tell you something,” she said.
“Ray and I have been dating and in a relationship for a while now,” she said. Gerard’s face changed quickly. You could tell that he was worried that I was with him.
“I’m taking care of her Gee, and you know that you can trust me to do that,” I said. He nodded and walked up to the other se of Crow and shook my hand.
“Welcome to the family,” he said hugging me. Everyone gathers around us and visit with Crow before it was lights out in the hospital.
