I opened the door and made my way though what seemed a vacation cabin. I couldn't see well because of the poor lighting but the placed seemed cozy.

We walked inside the record label company, the place was full.
I saw Lynz and Gerard inside, laughing with Alicia and Mikey.

Mikey came closer to us and hugged Gerard, "bro, congrats!"
The entire evening went pretty well, we spent all evening with several bands. The fuzz was about the MyChem guys and their recent and new found love.
While we were about to leave Adam, whom I met earlier, came to greet us.

"I'm fine. It's good to see things are okay, I'm sorry about earlier. The police called me a few hours ago and he won't be released anymore. This is his third offence in the year so... Yeah. "What the fuck happened?what is he talking about?"

"Bert?!"

He ran inside, I felt light headed so I stayed laying against the cold brick wall. Everything was blurry, I thought it was the alcohol or probably the heat
"Alex?"
"Ger-Gerar-d" I said as I walked towards him and touched the back of my head.
"Alex, you're bleeding! Where's Frank?"
"Frankie... In... Side"
He grabbed my body as I fell to the floor slowly. I couldn't see straight, from time to time I felt Gerard looking at me scared and padding on my shoulder.
"Alex, stay with me"
He started crying while he held me on his arms.
"SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE"
"Alex, stay with me, don't fall sleep"
I saw another silhouette approaching him, he looked oddly familiar
"What happened?"
"Her head is bleeding, she's badly hurt"
"I did this to her, I pushed her against this fucking wall"
"Why on fucking earth would you do that?"
"I was upset, she told me Bert had tried to rape her again."
"Shit, Frankie, take your shirt off. We have to put pressure on her head while the ambulance gets here"
"Alex! Alex! Please!"
