I'm Not Okay

I woke up to knocking on the door and Mikeys voice from the other side of the door.

"Guys? I have your child in my arms, are you covered?" He asked.

I laughed softly and looked down on the bed to where Gerard was still asleep with his hand resting on my stomach. He looked so peaceful that I didn't want to wake him, I carefully moved his hand off of me and pulled some sweat pants and one of my maturity shirts on before quietly opening the door and stepping out into the hall where Mikey and Bryce were waiting for me.

"Hi baby." I said as I took Bryce who was reaching out for me. "Thanks for bringing him back." I said to Mikey.

"Anytime.... So what are they?" He asked then placed his hand on my stomach.

"Girls, two little girls." I told him with a smile.

"Oh wow congratulations!" He said with a big smile.

"Thanks, so do you have any plans for the rest of the day?" I asked as I shifted Bryce to my hip.

"Nope, why?"

"I think our next album can use some more work." I said.

"Yeah sure." He said.

"Cool okay I'm gonna go put peanut down for a nap while you head down there." I told him, he nodded and made his way downstairs to the basement while I put peanut in his room. Before I headed downstairs I went back in my room to check on Gerard, he was still sleeping and I thought it was really cute.

When I got down into the music room with Mikey we started to work on some of the songs I had, they were really rough so they took a lot of work but we made some pretty good progress on all of them. We had my guitar tracks and his bass track pretty much set up by the time Gerard came down stairs with peanut on one arm and a plate of sandwiches in his other hand.

"Now look what we have here peanut, we have your daddy and uncle Mikey making music." He told Bryce, Bryce laughed and started to clap his hands as Gerard sat him down on the floor. "I think you guys deserve a break. I made food, ham for Mikey and banana and peanut butter for Frankie and turkey for me." He said as he handed out the sandwiches.

"Thanks babe." I said and took a bite. We were making small talk as we ate; while we were eating Bryce crawled over to me and sat in my lap, I smiled and held him close. He saw my sandwich and reached out for it, I decided to let him try a bit. After he had one bite he took it from my hands and started to eat it in a very messy manner, when I tried to take it back or get a bite he would whine or start to pull it away from me.

"Well I guess I'm done." I said and everyone started laughing, Gerard offered me his sandwich but since I am a vegetarian I said no. By the time peanut had finished his sand which he was covered in peanut butter.

"I guess it's time for this one’s bath." I said picking Bryce up.

"I'll give him a bath and you go get some food." Gerard said then stood up.

"No you need to work on the vocals, invite Ray over so he can work on his guitar tracks as well."

"But baby your pregnant, do you really want Ray over?" He asked.

"Are you trying to tell me I'm fat?" I asked with a serious face, all though on the inside I was trying not to laugh.

"What? N-no you're not, I-I j-just-" he started and he looked really panicked.

"I'm messing you Gee, I'm gonna put a hoodie and grab my pillow. Don't worry." I said then pecked his lips and headed upstairs, on my way up I heard Mikey laugh at Gerard and I smiled.

I went upstairs into Bryce's room and got all of the things I would need for his bath in the sink, then I took him down to the kitchen and started to let the sink fill up, as it did I put one of those frozen veggie pizzas in the oven so me and my little girls can eat. When it started cooking and he bath was filled I put Bryce in and he instantly started splashing around, I smiled at him and started to clean his mess off. About halfway through his bath Mikey came up and took over his bath, he told me Ray was almost here and he was bringing his girlfriend so I needed to go put on my sweater and get my pillow. When I was all dressed and had my pillow I went back down to the kitchen where Mikey pulled Bryce out of the tub and started to dry him, the timer on the oven also went off so I ran over and took the pizza out. I placed it down on a rack and stared at it as it started to cool. At some point I heard the door open and I guess Ray and his girlfriend walked in but I was too busy waiting for my pizza to cool down.

"Hey Frank." Ray said,

"Hi." I mumbled back, willing my pizza to cool down faster.

"What's he doing?" Christina asked Mikey.

"He's waiting for his pizza to cool down so he can eat it, Bryce ended up eating his sandwich." Mikey explained.

"Well you deserved it." Ray said in a baby voice, I wasn't facing them so I couldn't see what they were doing but I think Ray started to tickle peanut because he started to laugh again.

"Christina, do you wanna play dress up with my baby?" I asked her without looking away the pizza.

"I do!" Ray exclaimed.

"No you need to lay down the new tracks for the song we're working on." Mikey said.

"Fine." He pouted then I heard him go downstairs.

"Come here baby." Christina said then it sounded like she took Bryce from Mikeys arms. "Let's go play dress up."

"Be careful when you put his diaper on!" I warned, "He once peed in Gerard's mouth!"

"Are you serious?" Mikey asked, I could tell he was about to start laughing.

"Yup, even ask him yourself." I said still not taking my eyes off my food.

"I think I will." He said then started to go to the music room but stopped and came back to me, "but first I'm going to do this." He said then quickly stole a slice of my pizza and shoved it in his mouth and ran downstairs.

"Mikey! All the unicorns in the land are now cursed because of you!" I shouted.
