I'm Not Okay

After I hung up on Gerard, I put Bryce in his play pin and let him mess around on his own while I patiently waited on the sofa for Gerard to return home. Not long later I heard Gerard's car pull up and Gerard rushed into the house.

"Hey what's wrong?" He asked and tried to come near me.

"Don't fucking touch me." I sneered at him and backed away.

"Frankie baby what's wrong? Please talk to me." He begged.

"You’re fucking mother that's what's wrong!" I yelled at, I also yelled at him the entire story, of his mother and the things she said.

"Baby I'm sorry." He said and tried to hug me.

"Don't touch me." I said backing away. I guess what I said didn't matter to him because he came closer and grabbed my shoulders. I'm response I started to hit his chest but with every hit I felt tears grow in my eyes until my hits became effortless and my vision became completely blurred. When I let out a sob I rested my head on Gerard's shoulder and he started to rub my back and whisper sweet things as I cried.

"I'm going to talk to my mom about this and she's coming nowhere near Bruce or the twins until she learns to love you as much as I do." He said when I started to get my sobs under control.

"Y-your dad, he seems to understand us and I think he likes Bryce a lot, I just think he's scared of your mom." I said into his shirt.

"He's been that way for as long as I could remember." He said then chuckled. "You feeling better baby?" He asked and pulled my face from his chest so he could look at me.

I gave him a small nod and he pulled me back into an embrace for a few minutes.

"Okay, so before I came back, I managed to get my art supplies but not the paint for his room, how about we go to the store and pick it up?" He suggested.

I nodded and went back in for another hug. He chuckled a bit and pulled me as tight as he could without hurting the twins. When I pulled away I had Gerard watch peanut as I went upstairs to clean off my face and put some shoes on. When I got back downstairs Gerard was lying on the sofa with peanut on top of him, peanut was giggling so hard and Gerard was nibbling on his fingers and it was just the cutest thing I had ever seen.

"I'm ready babe." I said to get their attention. He turned to me and smiled.

"You're so sexy." He purred into my ear and started to nibble on it.

"Gerard there is a baby in your arms." I scolded then pushed him away. He just laughed then readjusted Bryce on his hip and started to walk out to the car. I followed him and sat in the passenger’s seat as he strapped Bryce in.

"Do you think you're gonna get hot it that?" Gerard asked and then gestured to my sweater

"Gee I'm three months pregnant with twins and I look pretty pregnant, I need to hide it."

"I think you're the sexiest pregnant man I've ever seen." He said then kissed my cheek.

"I'm the only pregnant man you've ever seen." I said then pecked his lips before we started driving off to the store.

When we got there Gerard carried Bryce on his hip and tried to keep his face hidden at all times. I kept a shopping cart in front of me to keep the bump hidden; we ran into a few fans who asked fire pictures and autographs, but since we had Bryce with us we said no to the pictures but signed everything they threw at us. But for what should have been a hour trip to the store turned into a hour and a half because of all the fans, but I didn't mind, I loved seeing them plus with the two new babies on the way it would be a while before we'd go back to touring so they deserved every bit of us. After we bought the stuff peanut and I were pretty tired so when we got home we took a nap together in Gee's and I bed while Gerard got started on his new room.

**** five weeks later*****

"Ready to go babe?" Gerard asked as I put my coat on and grabbed my pillow.

"Yup, I just need to get this one’s diaper bag." I said resting peanut on my hip.

"I already did, it's in the car waiting for us. Come on! Today's the day!" He said excitedly. Not gonna lie, I was pretty excited to, today was the day we got to find out if we were having boys or girls, or even both.

"Good, come on peanut today you're gonna go with uncle Mikey!" I said and he started to clap together his hands. "When do you think he's gonna start talking?" I asked Gee as we walked out to the car.

"I don't know, he's only six months old, do six month old babies talk?"

"I don't know, that's why I asked you." I said then laughed as I steappdd him in his car seat and climbed into the passenger seat while Gerard started up the car. We both laughed then headed off to Mikey’s house.

When we got there Gerard took Bryce in and his stuff while I stayed in the car, Mikey waved to me and I waved back but didn’t get out because we were already cutting it close to being late for Dr. Shannon. Gerard hugged him goodbye then ran back to the car and we headed over to the doctor’s office. When there, we were the only people just like it always was when I carried peanut. Dr. Shannon saw us right away and scolded us for being a few minutes late.

“Ready to find out the sex of the babies?” Dr. Shannon asked us.

“Yes.” Gerard and I both said then nodded our heads violently.

“Well it looks like you two are having two little girls.”
