I'm Not Okay

“Hello Frank.” Mrs. Way greeted me.

“Um, hello, come in." I said opening the door and letting them in. "Gerard isn't here right now but he'll be back soon." I hope.

"That's alright I would like some one on one time with my grandson and his other father." She said as she sat down on the sofa. Donald went over to Bryce and sat him in his lap then started to play with him.

"So how are you?" I asked them as I sat down.

"We're fine, and you Frank?"

"I'm good."

"Do Frank, today we went to go Lynz and get her side of things."

Why can't they just understand that they aren't together anymore?

"She told us you ruined their marriage by having an affair with Gerard then adopting a son because kids are the one thing Gerard wanted that Lynz wouldn't give him. Am I wrong?" She asked while glaring at me, Donald let out a sigh.

"Yes you are wrong!" I said getting really pissed off at her, how dare she come into my house and accuse me like this, "Lynz just-"

"So you and Gerard didn't have an affair?"

"No we didn't!"

"So you and Gerard were never together when they were married, not once?"

"Yes we slept together once but-"

"So now you're lying to me?"

"I'm not lying! Gerard and I were together once when they were married but after that I wanted nothing to do with your son! He came chasing me! He wanted to be in my son’s life and after a long time I let him! He left Lynz before we were officially anything!"

"That's not what Lynz says." She sang.

"Really? Why am I not surprised? What did lovely Lynz say?"

"She said she came to your house to confront you about leaving my son alone and saw you in bed with him."

"Yes I was really sick and bedridden and Gerard came to help me and apologized for treating me like utter shit and we watched a movie together then we kissed that's it! I'll also take a guess she didn't tell you when she walked in she was holding a knife and tried to stab me but ended up stabbing your son instead, did she tell you that?" I snapped at her, Mrs. Ways eyes widened and she paled a bit.

"She stabbed Gerard?" She asked in disbelief.

"Yeah she was also off her meds."

"Lynz is on medication? For what?"

"So it looks like you're perfect daughter in law wasn't so perfect after all."

"I still do not believe you nor think you are good enough for my son." She said with a scowl.

"Get out."

"Excuse me?"

"I said get out of my house." I said standing up and walking across the room to where Mr. Way was holding Bryce and took him out of his arms. Mr. Way looked like he didn't want to give him up but screw his wife. When I took Bryce in my arms he cuddled into me and I held him close as I scowled at Mrs. Way.

"Next time you wanna see Gerard call first and I'll make sure the kids and I are nowhere near you." I said as they walked out of my house. I slammed the door shut as soon as Mrs. Way was out of the doorway and pulled out my phone to call Gerard.

"Hey-"

"You better get your ass home now!" I yelled at him then hung up.
