Eternity Is An Unbearable Thought
So Are You, Be A Creature
Frank woke up to Gerard humping his leg and sniffing his hair in his sleep, making small whines and licking at his ear in a strangely endearing way. Blinking groggily, he felt more annoyed than anything. Sure, last night had scared the absolute shit out of him, but he found himself believing Gerard’s words, even buying into his intimidation, in a way. He knew that Gerard had the power to kill him with a single gaze, and yet he hadn’t.
He hadn’t because he cared, apparently.
After another few minutes of Gerard’s incessant humping, he nudged the vampire roughly (‘cause being gentle would get him nowhere with a horny creature-of-the-nighttime). “Gerard,” he called, rousing the elder from his ministrations.
Gerard had the decency to look abashed before he dashed into the bathroom, leaving Frank to get dressed for the day. The vampire’s climax was audible from the bathroom, making Frank smack his head against the drywall and sigh long sufferingly. Fucking horny vampires, man. They’re a handful.
The walk to school was filled with Gerard ignoring the morning’s happenings and Mikey stewing in his doom and gloom attitude he had adopted the moment Frank came into their lives. Ever since that day when Frank had first met Glasses, they had yet to speak again. Bar Mikey’s plotting, everything seemed almost normal, like he wasn’t walking to school with a couple of vampires with killer eyes and even worse reputations.
But Frank was reminded of Gerard’s true nature when some douchecanoe chucked a textbook (fucking textbook, what?) at Frank. Gerard was at the kid’s throat the moment he deflected the book from its path to the smaller boy’s head, growling in an ethereal voice that -- much to Frank’s shame -- sent mighty shivers down his spine. He only returned to Frank’s side when the dominant was trembling against the flagpole he was fastened to. Where Gerard got the duct tape, Frank would rather not know.
This was enough of a wakeup call to remind Frank that the boy he was slowly becoming infatuated with was a monster to the core.
And a monster was all he would ever be.
Notes
I apologize for my absence, but I just started high school and it's killing me. I'm dying.
High school + anxiety = Hell.
There's some fucking geometry for ya!
Sorry, but I hate geometry.
