Eternity Is An Unbearable Thought

It was orchestra, Frank was pretending to know how to handle his stupid fucking violin and the teacher was texting someone not giving a shit (as usual), when Glasses, I mean, Mikey slid in next to Frank, poker face still present. Frank did a double take because he was pretty convinced that the only reason Mikey would want to sit next to him would be to jam a knife into his jugular.

Mikey simply stared forward, not seeming to notice Frank even existed, until finally turning to look at the smaller.

"What the fuck did you do to my brother?" Mikey seemed genuinely accusing.

"Uh, nothing, what the fuck do you think I did, Glas- Mikey?" Frank rose an eyebrow, Mikey may be a teeth for weapons creature of the night, but fuck dude, Frank was innocent. If anything the question is 'What the fuck did Gerard do to Frank?'

"He's like," He paused, then: "He's just happier I guess."

"And that's bad because..."

Mikey tilted his head slightly. "I mean I guess it isn't. It's just," He looked Frank full on, "Ya know, he used to hate humans, but here you are." He furrowed his eyebrows. "He can't actually love anyway, so doesn't matter."

Frank just sat there for a moment, what the fuck is that supposed to mean, anyway? Someone saying Gerard doesn't love him shouldn't bother him, but it does. A fucking lot.

"Excuse me?"

Mikey chuckled, fucking asshole. "Well, he's still a vampire, he's gotta find a mate, and you're well, you. A human" Mikey stopped smiling. "You didn't think he'd actually wanna be with you forever did you?" Mikey chuckled some more, as if once wasn't hurtful enough. "You're just a passing phase, Frankie babe."

"Yeah." Frank felt endlessly shitty, "You're right." He also felt really, really stupid.

Notes

I'm so sorry. I just had to move and I've just been really depressed lately just from missing my friends and dealing with bullies at this new school (cos for some reason im fucking asshole bait or something, I dunno) so yeah, but that is really no excuse, so once again, sorry. But this story is not dead, far from it. I shall be updating frequently (maybe even another update tonight if im feeling it.) AND hopefully my coauthor is still lurking around somewhere, we shall see. But if they aren't around I'll finish this shit myself cos I can't live with this being unfinished any longer. Especially when it has the potential to be really popular. So yeah, here we go!

Song is from Horchata by Vampire weekend and I know they may be kinda soft for you guys but they're all hella good musicians and his voice is so nice, so whatever, I like it.
