You Can Cry All You Want To, I Don't Care

"Frank?" I say hesitantly and his smirk widens as he says "Dance with me Gee?" I nod and we start moving together, Franks arm wrapped tight around my waist so our lower bodies are plastered against each other and we stare into each other's eyes, lust evident on both our faces. As the song comes to an end I lean in and say "Frankie I...." But I'm cut off by Patrick coming over and touching my shoulder. "Who's your friend Gee?" "Uh...." "Frank" Frank says, smiling wide at Patrick as he pulls his hand off my hip and holds it out for Patrick to shake. "Frank Frank?" Patrick says, his eyes going wide and I nod to confirm. "Oh, uh sorry to interrupt, you guys were awesome earlier too, best band of the night." "Thanks" Frank says before Patrick shoots me a knowing smirk and disappears back into the crowd. "Friend of yours?" Frank asks and I chuckle softly as I say "My roommate at art school." "He seems nice." "Yeah he is, he's been my only friend since I got here." Frank looks sad for a second before he recovers and replaces his frown with a smile. "What about your other friend from before?" "Bert? I literally ran into him and knocked him down yesterday and then we hung out here, he's hardly my friend at this point." "Wait that was Bert?" I nod, the music starting up again and cutting our conversation off. We dance again to another song, grinding against each other and I forget all about Bert who is meant to come find me, getting lost in Franks hands trailing lower and lower on my back until they're resting over my ass, pressing my crotch tight against his. When the song ends I pull away and pant out "I'm going for air" turning and walking away towards the back door to step out into the alley again, needing to clear my head and just as I reach the door arms snake around my waist again and I realise Frank is following me. We stumble out into the alley, finding it empty and I slump back against the wall once Frank lets me go, sliding down to sit on the cold concrete and I take a few deep calming breaths while Frank settles beside me. "So what's been going on in your life? Tell me everything." I turn my head to look over at Frank and find that he's staring at me intently, his eyes trailing down my face to my lips and back up again. "You really wanna know?" "Yeah why wouldn't I?" I shrug my shoulders before saying "Don't really see how it's relevant that's all, after tonight anything I say isn't going to matter." Franks face crumples into a frown before saying "You really think this is gonna stop after tonight? I just found you again, don't think you're getting away that easy." I stare at him confused and he rolls his eyes before leaning over and sealing his lips to mine. I freeze, shocked before I let my eyes slip closed and I kiss back, letting his tongue in when it swipes over my bottom lip and as our tongues tangle together I let myself think about all the times I wished for and dreamed about this in the last six months. When we pull apart Frank and I stare into each other's eyes as we pant into each other's mouths and when Frank leans in for another kiss I slide my hand around the back of his neck, cupping it gently and letting
my finger tips brush over the chain hanging around his neck. When we pull apart again I tug the chain gently as I say "What's this?" Frank smiles as he pulls the chain out of the front of his loose shirt, revealing three rings. Two are black bands and the other in the middle is a very fancy looking ring with stones and I recognise them immediately. "You still have these?" I ask softly, my fingers trailing over them. "Yeah, I wear them always. I had been wishing I could run into you so I could atleast give this one back" he says, gesturing to my moms ring. "Oh no I gave that one to you and...." "It was your moms Gee, it's a big deal, I'd like you to have it back." I swallow hard and nod as he takes the chain off and removes that ring, pressing it into my palm while he slips the chain back on and tucks it back into his shirt. I turn the ring around in my fingers before saying "Thanks Frankie, this was one of her favourites."

After we both have another cigarette we make our way back inside and grab a beer, standing at the back of the crowd talking and drinking and by the time we are finished Frank has convinced me to go home with him to hang out and catch up more. We are about to leave when I spot Patrick in the crowd so I tell Frank I'll be right back and I push through and tell Patrick I'm leaving and he leans in and grabs my hand, whispering in my ear "Good luck, you deserve to be happy, I've never seen you smile like that. Be safe" and he pushes me back towards Frank who is watching our little exchange. I stumble back towards him and shake my head as I open my hand to see what he slipped into my palm and I go bright red
and immediately wish I hadn't when Frank starts laughing, indicating that he's seen it too. I go to close my fist around it again but Frank reaches out and snatches it from my hand, holding it up and waving it near my face. "Planning on getting lucky tonight Gee?" He taunts as he waves the condom around. "Shut up" I snap as I feel my face grow hotter and Frank smirks and grabs my hand again, pocketing the condom as he leads me towards the front door, dragging me down the street and towards his apartment.
