Everything Will Be OK

***Mikey’s POV***
It had been only a few days since I had moved in with Brooke and her parents have been so welcoming. Brooke and I have never been closer and I actually feel like I have a family again. Here and there I will get phone calls from Gerard but I would just ignore them knowing that whatever he had to say wasn’t important as I was now happy living here.

As it was now the next morning, I had awoken to the loud, blaring sound of the alarm clock as I rolled myself out of bed. I brought my head up and groggily found one of my old sweatshirts in my duffle bag as I threw it on my scrawny torso. I then headed out of the guess room and strolled down the stairs to see Brooke sitting down at the kitchen table. “Hey babe, you’re finally up!” She greeted. I chuckled as I took a seat next to her. “I missed you in my bed last night.” I whispered as I placed a soft kiss on her rosy cheek. “I know Mikes, but tonight my parents will be gone so we can stay in the same bed for as long as we want.” She cooed. “But I was thinking for the time being that we would actually go to school today.” She mumbled, taking a sip of her coffee. “Today?” I gave her a shocked look. “Yeah, don’t you think that we should go now? We haven’t gone in almost three weeks!” I sighed. “But I don’t think im ready to go yet…”I whined. “Mikey…you have to pass senior year!” “Fine, fine I’ll go…” I finally gave in. “Alright, great now go get ready babe so you can drive us.” She replied as I headed up the stairs. My biggest hope was that once we would both get to school that my brother wouldn’t be there.
