Everything Will Be OK

***Gerard’s POV***
An awkward tension filled the air as it was now just Mathew and I waiting in the hospital hallway. He sneered at me and continued to give me dirty looks. “I don’t like you Gerard.” I let out a low chuckle. “I think I’ve noticed.” I kept my focus on the ground as he continued to speak. “After this I don’t want you anywhere near my Lindsey.” He hissed in my direction. My head shot up immediately as he said that. “What the fuck is that supposed to mean?” I asked, my head pounding form all the alcohol I had previously consumed. “It means that once she steps out of this hospital with OUR baby then you will never be having any kind of connections with her and the child.” He scoffed arrogantly. “Well last time I checkedI’M the real father of the baby, not you so you can’t tell me weather I can see my own child or not!” I could feel my face growing hot as the adrenaline began to rush through me. “I wouldn’t let you near my daughter over my dead body!” He screamed, his fists clenched. “D-daughter?” My voice softened. “She’s having a girl?” My frown began to form into a small smile. I couldn’t believe it, I was actually having a daughter! “Yeah but it doesn’t matter since you won’t be ever going near her!” He shouted, causing some looks from the nurses. “Yes I will because she is my fucking child! I don’t know who you think you are but-“I was then cut off when Mathew nailed me hard in the nose. Blood began to trickle down my chin as my nose wouldn’t stop bleeding. “Ow what the fuck?!” I screamed in pure agony. Tears began to squeeze out of my eyes and fall down my cheeks. He was about to throw another punch when a nurse came and broke us apart. Once we finally all calmed down we were finally escorted back to Lindsey’s room as she was now on medicated drugs and was barely awake. “It’s about anytime now…” The young nurse spoke. “M-Mathew…” Lindsey mumbled, her eyelids half closed. “Yes hon?” He replied in his fake-acting, sweet voice. “W-will you hold my hand?” He chuckled. “Why of course darling! “He cooed as he knelt beside the hospital bed and clutched onto her frail hand. The whole act he was playing off made me sick. I couldn’t believe that Lindsey was going to be married to this son of a bitch. As I turned my head away in disgust I began to hear Lindsey squealing in agony. “Just keep calm miss and everything will be ok.” The nurse assured her.” I immediately turned back around as Lindsey wailed loudly and continued to breathe in and out. “Come on just keep pushing!” She spoke. We all kept our eyes on Lindsey as she laid on the hospital bed in pain. “I see a head!” The nurse exclaimed. My eyes widened as the room was filled with the sound of crying coming from the baby. “You’re almost there!” The nurse continued. As we stood in anticipation, the baby was finally in full view lying in the nurses arms. I began to feel a tear escape from one of my eyes. “She’s so…beautiful…”I spoke in awe. “She is isn’t she?” The nurse agreed, wrapping the baby into a towel and handing her over to Lindsey. Lindsey was now all sweaty and exhausted from the procedure. “She has your nose.” Mathew pointed out, smiling. She chuckled. “And she has Gerard’s eyes.” She replied, looking up at me. I couldn’t help but grin at the remark. And it was true, she did have my eyes and her nose…she was absolutely beautiful. “C-can I hold her?” I asked shyly. “Of course!” Lindsey said, handing me the baby girl. I softly brushed the baby’s cheek as her small little hand wrapped around my finger. I chuckled softly. I then gave her back to Lindsey as I could now see that Mathew’s face was bright red in anger. “So what are you going to name her?” The nurse but in. “Bandit…I’m going to name her Bandit…
